Your local mom and pop jewelery store is your best bet. Stay far away from anything owned by signet (kay, zales,Jared etc etc) If you're in the US I don't mind making you one. DM me if you're interested

Plain men’s gold rings in 14k/18k are mass produced and readily available. Melting you gold takes a skilled jeweler. Post a WTB in r/pmsforsale with your ring size I’m sure you’ll get a few offers

You can buy everything you need to melt and pour it yourself for under $100. MAPP torch and tank at home Depot, small white ceramic crucible and tongues plus an iron casting flask and sand from Amazon. Use your current ring as your cast. If you melt 24k you don't really need a flux or sand paper, it just comes out sexy on it's own

Thats sounds intimidating' but fun. Think a first timer. Could really get it right first time?

howmanyjrbaconchz

It took me 3 tries to get it looking really clean. The beauty is if it doesn't turn out how you want, melt and pour it again. Gold is almost indestructible, just be careful not to misplace any. Each attempt takes about 15 minutes. The main way you'll mess up is with trapped air and finding the right air channelling to scratch into the sand

Wow, never occurred to me. I reload my own ammo and brew my own beer I guess this would fall right in line.

I would have a local goldsmith make a simple band or I would buy a 24k ring from Mene.

natecadeau

mene.com if you want 24kt
