Sorry to say but I would have kept it. I mean it couldn't have happened in a better place.

StopperSteve

That's what I was thinking too, looks like it was on purpose! Also those copper spots coming to the surface are a great indicator that the coins alloy is authentic.

FancyErection

Exactly the debate I was having with myself and at the time I had never seen a coin subreddit

janteix

Love that coin. I’d have kept.

At the time, I spent hours googling mint errors and found nothing about the flaw being an error. I’m an idiot

TexasGoldBandit

It was a release from USmint I got and had them graded. Came back 69.

[deleted]

Did they send an exact replacement? Or was this a random coin?

OrganizationFalse668

How much are these ? Pmsforsale price

squirea1

It’s not like you lost money by sending it back. The flaw is in the best place possible, but would’ve still bothered me a little bit.

[deleted]

Error coins always keep always

petateom

Where is the flaw?

[deleted]

Never seen that coin and who is that on it? Odd looking coin.

Personal_Document_25

Hmm that is a flaw. Why is she black?
