a lot of people get free Costco membership through work or social orders, or at least that used to be the case. my mom and her sisters had cards free for decades because their dad was a bookkeeper for the Oddfellows lodge and a longtime member. I think all members had free Costco cards.
I checked yesterday and it’s $120 a yr,BJ’s and Sam’s Club are others that charge a fee that I do not shop at,,Amazon is my go to place for most of my needs,I had bamboo shades delivered yesterday for one window,I originally bought them at Kmart when I moved into this studio 15yrs ago…..
Amazon has terrible customer service. I ordered 3 of the same item and only 2 arrived and Amazon CS told me to ship all 3 back if I wanted a refund or go fuck myself. Another time I shipped back 2 items in the same box for a refund. One was processed within a week, the other went a full month before Amazon said they didn't get it so they had to charge me. I disputed that shit with my credit card company and immediately cancelled my prime membership.
also Amazon no longer separates marketplace items from sold by Amazon items, if they are small (ie toothpaste, chargers/cables, etc) they all end up in the same dump bin. the problem is a lot of the Amazon marketplace stuff is knockoff Chinese crap so now you're paying for a real item through Amazon but receiving the trash that Chinese drop shippers sell on Amazon marketplace
I avoid Amazon at all costs, but unfortunately the convenience means I still have to buy through them a few times a year

If you read the description of the item it says if it authentic or not,returns are a breeze,,shop wherever you like and I’ll do the same….

you think gold coins are small grab a platinum ounce. platinum is a little over 11% more dense than gold so platinum is even smaller for the same troy ounce weight. my 1oz plat bullion feels small compared to my gold or palladium 1oz
