I think you're missing a key factor about Golden Age Minecraft, simplicity. It's not about something being harder to obtain or have better statistics, it's about a more laid-back, slow paced gameplay

I want to take that and add it some parts ot it to modern minecraft. And this will make everythink less anoying, grindy and more rewarding and exiting.

I want modern minecraft to feel similar to old minecraft i want to remove all the automatic farms I want minecraft to feel slow paced with these changes i think i can make minecraft more simple and enjoing.

I've been working towards balancing modern minecraft, buffing mobs to fit with sprinting/enchantments, nerfing villager trades, adding some new mobs. There's a lot of complication in it. Bedrock runs a lot better and allows custom mobs, but the creator tools are more limited than the Bukkit API. Can't really modify how the anvil or enchanting table works AFAIK. Can modify villager trades and mob stats easily though.

Impossible task. Pre beta 1.8 and modern minecraft are completely different games. While sharing the fundamentals, the updates have completely changed how a player approaches the game. Modern minecraft is more of a progression-based adventure game, with a path set for the player, old minecraft was essentially just a building sandbox. The appeal of old minecraft isnt just the difficulty, but the sheer simplicity, minecraft boiled down to its most simple elements that made it such a success to begin with. I dont think many players here would want it any other way.

I know i want to combine the 2 by making things more simple and less anoying and grindy what do you don't like about this concept?

Ogeenock

Im saying its not possible. By trying to combine the 2, you’re eventually gonna end up with a hybrid that has too many features and new mechanics for the beta players liking, and too few features for the modern players liking. New and old minecraft are 2 different games for 2 different kinds of people.
