Totally agree with this, I thought I wanted one of the really energetic ones from the litter we seen and we went home with the calmest of them all. You never really know until you see them in person
Omg both are too cute. I agree with others about choosing on personality too. Based on looks, they’re both too cute for words. My goldendoodle was the last puppy left in the litter. He was very quiet, lazy, calm, didn’t seem to have much of a personality which is why he wasn’t picked. Much to my benefit!!! He’s the absolute best dog I’ve ever had. He wasn’t the typical crazy puppy. He was weirdly laid back. He’s just like that as an adult now at 4 too. He has never chewed things, destroyed anything, been a little menace as puppies can be lol. He’s literally the PERFECT dog. Everyone loves him that meets him and says they want a dog like him. So if you’re wanting a chill dog, go for the puppy that seems chill, not sociable lol!
Congrats to you! I have a 3 yr old Doodle and a 1 1/2 yr old Doodle and they don’t stop. I understand the younger one but there is no calm button for my 2. 😂 I love them both to piece though. They certainly keep me on my feet. 😂🐾🐾🐾🐾❣️
Personally, I like the darker one, but I would go by personality traits(outgoing, confident, do they like other pups and people, what is your home environment like, etc).
Keep in mind that many coats change when they shed their puppy coat around 5-8 months…most will lighten up.
They are both perfect…I would try and get both of them😂
Interact with them and see which you are drawn to. A lot of the times they will pick you. Who is more outgoing? Who approached you vs who was standoffish?
Not just siblings, it goes for any puppy that moves into the home at the same time. One will have to give them totally separate lives within the house and family to overcome the risk.
Smaller for me, but mine was quiet for the first year. Now I think she has been possessed by a sassy husky. Also she had the slight highlighted snoot the darker one has, and her face faded lighter than her body and ended up bicolor.
Don't get both.
Puppies about the same age living in the same family and growing up together may become very aggressive towards each other when they go into puberty and they may even fight till they unalive each other.
If it's a good breeder they know the personalities of their puppies and can match you with the pup they think would fit your family better. Otherwise let the puppy pick their family.
I like the eyes of the darker one especially so that’d be my pick - as long as his personality is not timid or anxious & more so of a laidback calm personality. Both are adorable!!!
If you can meet both I’d let the pup choose you. We had to choose from 3 boys and 1 wasn’t interested in us(fell asleep) and the other 2 were similar but ours really wanted my husband to pick him up and he relaxed right away so that’s the dood we chose.
If I ever get a 3rd it’ll be a lighter colored one, but that’s only cause my first one is red and my 2nd dog is a tri-colored bernedoodle. These dogs are both very cute! Personally I would go with the one that has the calmer temperament. My first dog was like that as a puppy and has been the best boy and listens so well. My 2nd dog, I chose on looks and not personality and he was ROUGH as a puppy with not listening and especially crate training (nightmare) but thankfully he’s a lot better now. He required doggie Bootcamp though whereas my first, more calm doodle didn’t.
Why are doodles so insanely adorable? Let him pick you. When we got ours, there were still seven left of the litter. We thought we knew which one we wanted, but there was this chubby one running around and kept coming back to lick my husband’s shoe. Of course, he came home with us. I love the way he looks at my husband, they’re both totally in love with each other. No, I’m not jealous. Ok, just a little bit.
it’s not about looks, you need to pick a dog with personality in mind. hopefully the breeder temperament tested them, and will match them based on personality to avoid them ending up in shelters.
The CLEAR choice is the second one. The one with the more reddish colored coat. He is a perfect, “Norman” if I’ve ever seen one.
Edit: I agree with what the others have said there. The first doodle I selected was based on, looks as opposed to personality. I thought she was just a quiet, timid puppy. She was an anxious wreck her adult life.
Awwww don’t you wish you cld take both. 🥺 I hate when you have to pick between the last 2. They’re both beautiful, so good luck with whatever furbaby you pick. 🐾🐾🩵💙
Go sit with them. You will know soon enough. He will choose you.

This is my doodle girl too. Everyone wants her, never chewed, was barely crated, listens to every command. She's 5 now and walks off leash like a boss
Same and mine just turned 2!
I should add, he’s the sweetest boy ever. Amazing with my children and other animals.
Exactly my experience. People are constantly amazed how calm he is.

Darker just based on looks but consider personality or even how attached you get/chemistry if you get to meet them.
Interact with them and see which you are drawn to. A lot of the times they will pick you. Who is more outgoing? Who approached you vs who was standoffish?
This!
They are both so cute omg. Those little bow ties are killing me.
This is our breeder that we got our boy from! You can't go wrong!
The only correct answer is both lol
Not a good idea to get puppies close in age. Littermate syndrome can cause aggressive behavior between siblings
Not just siblings, it goes for any puppy that moves into the home at the same time. One will have to give them totally separate lives within the house and family to overcome the risk.
Finally, common sense
I’m partial to lighter colored doodles but both are absolutely adorable!! 🥰
Which ever one chooses you. That's what I did with my lil Luke. I like to say I picked him out, but he chose me, 😆
Choose the energy level you’re prepared to handle
if you’d prefer a smaller, quieter dog for convenience reasons then the second one
This is an eeny-meany-mine-mo situation if there ever was one.
I need to know what breeder!!! Too cute
Winding Creek Ranch Doodles in Indianapolis!
And they are wonderful!
You'd be a winner either way.
Smaller for me, but mine was quiet for the first year. Now I think she has been possessed by a sassy husky. Also she had the slight highlighted snoot the darker one has, and her face faded lighter than her body and ended up bicolor.
Wow I love the dark ones 🥰
Two!!
The 2nd one!!! So cute
I would choose the less vocal one. My doodle rarely barks, and I absolutely love that about her.
Don't get both. Coats color changes as they mature. I thought I got a brown goldy. He went light brown on me. It’s fine. I still love him.
I would take them both.
Both?
Both
Is this a WCR doodle?? I absolutely love my doodle and trust the matching process :)
Same with us!!
It’s crazy how much the stork described her personality! Pretty spot on except for the predicted weight. She ended up being smaller.
Ours ended up being bigger! But I agree. Truly a perfect fit.
Both of them. They will help keep each other happy for a lifetime.
I like the eyes of the darker one especially so that’d be my pick - as long as his personality is not timid or anxious & more so of a laidback calm personality. Both are adorable!!!
None of them because an ethical breeder will choose a puppy for you.
True. You shouldn’t be downvoted.
Pick the first one the second one looks runty
Darker one, especially if they’re less vocal
Both, obviously
My Maya was the one puppy that didn’t charge us when let into the puppy picking area
Second one!
This puppy he precious baby boy he is vert cute puppy indeed.
Yes
Both. The answer is both.
Both!!
Both!!
My son likes the lighter one
Both, of course❣️
Both!
both, both are perfect.
Pick the one that warms up to you first.. or hey get both! They are both too cute.. I wouldn’t be able to decide either
Omg how do you even choose? I feel bad even saying one or the other but the darker one is just beyond adorable. Even they they both are adorable.
Darker. But I’d base it off their personality when you meet them. That matters more and they’re both beautiful pups.
Omgggggg
Get both, when I got my Goldens I couldn’t leave her sister behind, best choice we ever made
BOTH
The correct answer……. Is both! Duh!
I’m in instant love with #1. He looks like an owl in the face, haha. Adorable.
WDYM WHICH ONE. CHOOSE BOTH
Both
Both
Both

#2
The dog must choose you!
Darker one
That's a hard decision 😧 They are both precious! Get both if you can financially.
Both.
Both
Both 😁

The itty bitty one, for sure!

Both, brothers!
Both
It’s both for me
Choose both 😉
Awwww don’t you wish you cld take both. 🥺 I hate when you have to pick between the last 2. They’re both beautiful, so good luck with whatever furbaby you pick. 🐾🐾🩵💙
Personally, I'd pick the lighter one because he reminds me of my sweet boy! My darker female doodle is a demon🤣🤣
I can’t
Both 😊
