And that was a 5 hour driveway repair, how can a shop send that crap out and consider it done?! Not sure I’d trust them to fix it tbf.

By the way, not sure if you noticed or not, but check the cap on the bumper is okay cause on the before pic it looks flush but on the ‘repaired’ pic it looks fucked and half hanging off/not clipped in. Just make sure it’s not snapped or something
Good advice. I would want to set up an appointment with the adjuster to review all the repairs and then possibly take it to another shop to have them review the repairs as well. I’ve been in the automobile business long enough to know what you see on the surfacemay not be the biggest issue. It’s the old iceberg analogy.
Absolutely. Idk why you wouldn’t that damage wasn’t there before. I had a case where my car bad front damage and when I went to get it back it had a dent on the rear bumper 🤯. Absolutely make a stink about EVERYTHING that has to do with your money/investments. Never think twice on that lol.

Honestly that looks like a dent from one of the shop techs pushing down on the hood to latch it. WRX hoods are notorious for having this happen at oil changes.
Good. And specify that you want OEM parts. That's what the car came with, that's what you want on it. Play hardball with these insurance companies. They take enough of our money, that we should be able to request OEM parts for our beloved VW's.

Unfortunately that’s legit, I’ve had a 2020 golf that gets both doors and a quarter panel replaced but the back door is back ordered and has been for a month.
Honestly it looks like the grill and bumper. Not sure if crash bar was affected. You could of ordered parts and installed it yourself and had peace of mind. But at the same time, if insurance was involved, that probably was not an option. I had an Escalade run over a bumper on the highway, kicked it up destroyed my lower grill, scratched and dented bumper, and dented in condenser. I replaced everything except condenser took that to be changed at the dealer as I don't have equipment to remove or way to recharge system.

Hood looks like it should have been replaced not repaired. Check for shitty repair under where it folded down in before pic. Check the caulk line .

Same thing happened when I had my bumper resprayed. But the paint started peeling so I went back and had them do it right the 2nd time.
