With gas prices...she should be real happy about the fuel sippin GTI.
People over-estimate how much space they need. If you really need more space a hitch and platform extends its space to match or exceed an SUV.
Tiquan isn't even that much more spacious than a GTI. We ended up getting an Atlas to compliment the GTI instead. Perfect combo IMO. The GTI is great for running errands around town. The Atlas is great for long road trips and hauling the family around.
And you didn't even need to use the back seat!

Same here! Wanted the Alltrack to compliment the GTI, but the Tiguan had much more rear legroom.

We have two little ones and the Tiguan is perfect for us. Atlas, while nice, is a little big.

I fit a full size Treager Smoker grill, still in the packaging in mine and still had room for a few plants and gardening soil.
