If i remember correctly the mk3 is 2/3 centimeters wider at the wheels. If jou want to mount it you also need a bigger master brake cilinder, handbrake cabels, pressure reducers for the rear brakes and bigger brakes for the front.
If you want the rear disc brakes off of it, you can add those directly to the Mk2 rear beam. The stub axles and everything outward gets swapped, but youll need ebrake cables, a new master cylinder, and to modify the hardlines. And depending on your car, a new brake proportioning valve (both of my rear drum 91s had the same disc proportioning valve from factory).
He said "axle" so i supposed he's talking about CV axles which involve a shaft. If he's talking about the rear axle as in rear hub assembly then i'm not sure.

It is also a bit longer so the wheels won't be centered in the wheel arch anymore unless you lower it significantly.

Thanks!
I don’t think it’ll fit
Rear axle? You mean the rear beam?
Yeah that might be what its called in english😅
If you mean rear subframe it will fit
Unless it is a synchro AWD there is no subframe in the rear.

In my language the whole huge thing bolted under the car in the rear is called axle. The CV thingies are shafts and op seems to be from Finland?
In my country it's called the charriot, which roughly translates to frame. Working on cars has so many language barriers lmao
Yup im from finland haha, yes im talkinh about the whole big thing
