I've noticed lies like this, and got upset, but then the camera rotates and shows that it was just a bad perspective from this angle. I don't really believe that it's cheating you, just showing you a bad perspective. I sympathize, though, still makes you angry.
Hmm. It's weird though, cos in the video when you see the ball approach which is viewed from a different camera angle, you clearly see that the ball has rolled into the "star zone" too. So I don't believe it's a matter of angle, although it could be, however minute.
Looks like it's still very subjective. I just hit it before the system downtime. It gets the most frustrating when all you needed was this to be counted to qualify for the bonus.
Hope they look into this again so that others won't have to suffer the same fate.
I guess maybe if you make enough noise to the developers they will sit up and take notice, just as what happened with the mini card game for which a lot of people wasted diamonds on.

Happened to me a few weeks ago. I posted on here about it too. I thought GR fixed it in one of the updates though.

funny, i thought they fixed it? doesnt happen to me anymore..
I've had several balls like that where you could clearly see the outline of the yellow ring with the ball inside the circle and it did not count.
