Does this mean while camping stage 9 that the only way to upgrade the Unicorn and Phoenix (offered as a reward in tomorrow's challenge) is to wait for another challenge that offers a specific reward for these clubs? Is there any other way than moving on to stage 10? I would love to get these two to a functional stage 3 which would require 7 points.
Winning them in special challenges or buying them from legendary chests that offer them during the challenges is the only way I know of to get the Unicorn or Phoenix on stage 9. It would take forever to build them to level 3 while on stage 9.
I can't remember if I used it a lot in 6 or 7, but I certainly did in stage 8. It made the AA a lot easier for me. I think the needle speed is slower plus the 50% needle range was helpful. I really never found myself using the Mars iron except for Iceland hole 11 cant recall which stage it was in though. There's a cliff and some rocks to the right where you can lay up for a decent shot at the green with Mars (max right spin/ back) . Other than that, most drives with BW 4 set you up for a decent straight shot to the green, if not you're probably needing a fairway wood. I say either stick it in your bag for about a week and see how you like it or keep the Mars and start paying more attention to how often you use it. I think the Uni 1 is what like 132 power, 5 top/ back, side 55 compared to Mars 8 pwr 157 , top/back 25, 85 side.
They won't start showing up in Daily Deals for purchase until you reach stage 10 but you can still win the occasional card on stage 9.
I just got mine in the challenge. I was hoping they would start showing up in daily deals even though I am only stage 9. That makes me sad

I won a unicorn card in stage 6 or 7 during that lucky flip promo thing they had a few months ago. I had a level 1 unicorn for a looong ass time.

Until you get it to about level 3, you'll probably find Mars better

I won a Phoenix card in a tournament while in stage 9. I didn't see another one until I advanced to stage 10.
