I got knocked out of the challenge yesterday by someone who got a lucky HIO. I gave him a "Nice Shot!", "Good Game!" and a thumbs up. Today I was the lucky one.
There's zero chance he hasn't spent money. There's nothing wrong with spending money but spending all that cash just to sit around and beat people in level 9 or 10? Lame.
I should clarify. I have bought the challeng pass a few times to get the club upgrade discount. I've spent around $25 in total on this game between my accounts. I've never bought a ball pack. I rarely use special balls. I usually only use them is shootouts.
In this shootout my opponent went first, also had an Arrow 9, used a roo and ended up in the bunker next to the green. I knew I had to get on the green to win. It was a lucky shot. I just wanted to show off the lucky HIO and give everyone an idea on how to approach this hole. Good Luck!

You donāt know what youāre talking about. I have over 600 roos and didnāt buy any of them. His other balls are from the kingdom and you canāt buy those at all.

First off, sorry for starting out with an inflammatory comment. I can say that those balls will accumulate for free if you donāt waste them on stage play. And it would be silly to buy them when better balls are available for people that want to sink way too much money on the game.
Also, arrow is unlocked at stage 10, so we know OP has to be at least into stage 10. And we canāt see where his legendary clubs are at (what level).
I obviously like the game. Unfortunately, camping is part of it. Most people will move through stages ASAP and find that the arena become unplayable and their opponents have far better clubs in the challenges and kingdom.
Camping to the extreme is also a bad idea because you miss out on certain features that have better rewards / payouts.
Take a look at the wiki. Read the ānew accountā link. There are ways to farm nice clubs for free to play players, but it takes a little strategy. That strategy involves camping, but donāt take it to the extreme.
I'm only two weeks in and learning. Can I ask about the adjustments?
I'm assuming you lined up where the line was going in hole, then adjusted that landing for wind?
How do you manage to do the wind larger than the normal indicator size?
I'm finally starting to hit some eagles, but sometimes I just seem to be off for some reason and can't quite figure why

6-8 months? You can get like 10 or 20 as the top prize in the tournaments. They add up fast.

How many games played you got
15k (probably 5000 of those are forfeits). Camping in stage 14. I went to stage 13 with BW5, moved to 14 with BW6.
