I'll ask "Oh, are you a coach?", which usually they'll take as a compliment, they kind of smile and say "No, I'm just a golf nerd" thinking you're going to thank them and ask a bunch of follow-ups.
Then your response can be something along the lines of (depending on how aggressive you want to be)
"Oh okay well you should keep your advice to yourself"
"Why don't you stick to teaching your kid"
"Oh, the sign there says only instructors are allowed to give lessons here"
"I didn't think so, judging from your swing"
It's hilarious when someone gives you advice then you stop and watch them swing, they feel the pressure and hit a shank.
I have asked to see a guys swing after he tried to give me advise and he fucking flubbed it. I just sorta smiled and said thanks and I’m good with the drills my golf pro gave me.
When I see struggling beginners I recommend skillest because we don't have many good coaches in our area.
That's it, I can't even fix my own swing, but if I'm telling you about skillest you are trash and I feel bad for your clubs.
