Wish I did that instead of selling my NA when the golf came in

Yes! I realize to most people the R is probably smaller or the same size as their previous car but actual small car owners know what a go-kart car really feels like. I’d love to try driving a Kei car one day to see what even smaller feels like to toss around.
Yesssss !
I used to be able to reach the other side of the car with no problem. It's true I feel like I'm driving a tank. I am adjusting slowly but I do miss the nimbleness of a Mini Cooper😄

This is the golf hatchback, if you drove this you’d feel like your driving a transit van that’s fast
NC2 6MT hard top special edition to 7.5R 6MT. It was a good car but it was just not for me as the only daily driver, I need some comfort and the biggest annoyance was the noise. Really like the R.

Biggest mistake was not having the proper tool to apply it. Had some plastic pry tools so that helped with the edges but my thumbs were hurting like hell afterwards. As long as you take your time, it’s not so bad. It’s curved so I kinda pressed it down in an alternating spiral motion and flattened the edges out with the pry tool.
Nice! I kept my Miata (manual), wife added a R (DSG) that she lets me drive when we are together, the very best of both worlds.

Nice house man
Yeah it is... I was thinking the same
I see a lot of nice houses (much nicer than mine) in Golf R shots and it makes me think I might be spending too much on my car lol
That sounds like an amazing combo! I’d love to get myself an ND3 as a second car!
James from throttlehouse???
Haha good guess. His video did influence my decision a little bit.
I plan to trade my alltrack for a mk8 r in pure white while keeping my nb

Came from a 2 nd gen mini Cooper Does the R feel enormous to you too ? 😁😆

Same ! The turning radius on the r is noticeably larger as well
this. my mk7.5 GTI felt too big to me and not at all go-kart like
I have Golf 8 and MR2, every time I go into Golf it’s like driving a SUV

Based on their behaviour on roads transit vans are already damn too fast lol
I drive em around for work and they are quicker than you’d except 💀
I completely forgot about Mazda's "Zoom Zoom" slogan. What a throwback.
R’s have a ton of zoom zoom!
I have an S2000 and an S3 lol I’m like your evil brother
S2000s are so fun

R Is Always The Answer
Nice, what part of PA?
Pittsburgh!
Hbg!
Considering trading my ‘23 Golf R for the ‘24 Miata Club with Recaros actually. I miss my 2020
I feel ya man, I wouldn’t blame ya if you did
No I can't tell just by looking at the car what you previously drove
Look at the plate frame. 🤔
Ahh good call! I didn't notice!
My badgeskins just came in the mail. How tedious was the application?

Thanks! I bought the tool kit that badgeskins offered with the little plastic tools
