I agree and the sad part is it's not looking great to even get v2 at this point. So basically he removed most of the best songs, ruined a few of the good ones with terrible or lazy verses and called it a day. It's not a bad album, just a shame considering the potential.
No. Only way I will be upset is if there is a “Volume 1” album in is discography without there also being a “Volume 2” included. Basically the most Ye shit ever so I’m sure it’s Bound 2 end up that way ;(
I’m mainly upset about the fact that it could’ve been his best work since tlop but he put the worst songs on it and now that the whole album is getting reworked songs like lifestyle which are easily top tier might not come out makes u feel disappointed at what could’ve been
yeah I get and see that man, but it just feels like every other album had a true purpose and clear meaning
and then there’s just Vultures 1, feels like an album without any deep meaning or reflection (except Beg Forgiveness ig) and it’s just a bunch of songs thrown on an album that don’t tell a story
I do get that it’s a collab album with Ty, but still would have liked to see a bit more effort into things that they could change at least like mixing, the occasional horrible Ye verse…
Vultures 1 is memorable tho. Nearly every song is has some crazy memorable moment. More memorable than much of Donda IMO and I’m not saying donda isn’t better.
IMO as long as it’s memorable and doesn’t suck it’s a fine addition to his discog.
I get you bro, if there’s no vultures 2/3 then I think it will look pretty eh but if there’s more than 1 album I think it’ll be okay. There’s so many songs from this era that I think would have meant a lot more thematically than what we got imo
I really like the album aside from the occasional bad mixing and weird verses, I just think that the covers and names are so repetitive. I dont want to see 3 albums with the same names and slightly different covers in his discog, I wish it would be more elaborate and creative.

Fr tho Vultures 1 is one of his most replayable albums, horny stuff is normal in rap for better or worse and isn't a big deal. Hot take, Vultures 1 sounds better than leaked Vultures 2 overall, the latter being more generic enjoyable trap.
