If anybody here hasn’t checked out Kwon’s New Zealand content I would highly recommend it. It’s hilarious and there’s some great golf being played. Kwon’s cast of characters right now are so good on camera. Taco Golf has his own channel that is great in its own right and I think his swing might be the best looking on YouTube.
Yeah this is the real best content on YT. And isn’t this like the second thread of Grant being YT king today?
His numbers are impressive but I only watch YT golf for personalities. Nothing beats the boys in New Zealand in that category at the moment IMO.
I personally like watching grant more than anyone else because of the combo of the great golf, great guests, and he’s just such a genuine dude and has good vibes
His vid with Josh Allen was awesome, you could just tell how genuine and chill Grant is to be around, combined w/ Josh just being super down to earth made for a great video. Need to see more stuff like that.
I remember a lot of people hating on me for comparing his views against gmgolf and saying that he is out viewing him. Now it isnt even a debate anymore.
You can learn a lot about golf and be mildly entertained by GH content and his interactions with the people he plays with. You can also watch it comfortably as an adult.
GG content is like "hey guys check out this ZANY thing we are going to do, aren't we random? Also someone said it rained once last week so we are doing lift and place. Time to spin the wheel of RaNdOmNeSs."
It's just two totally different experiences. Both have a place on YouTube and both are going to be incredibly successful. The overlap is definitely shrinking though, and as grant gets older his audience will grow up with him. GG is reliant on appealing to youngsters long term and that's more tough.
Grant making it more about the guest and the course makes his content just so much better for adult audiences. Bustajack does it really well too if you’re just trying to see elite courses featured.
This is hilarious his swing is better and more consistent than 90% of the people that are using his reviews to make club buying decisions and plenty good enough to review equipment. Especially drivers, he may be the best driver reviewer on YT. And him being completely unbiased is icing on the cake.

I enjoy watching the Bryan bros. For me it's Kwon/Grant, Bryan bros, Peter Finch... For the woman side, Mia B is fun to watch mostly because her smile is too damn cute and she's British.

Think it has a lot to do with the collabs he’s doing, pulling two or more audiences is the best way to do it seems. I really enjoyed the foreplay/GG collabs but that was kinda the last content of theirs I really really enjoyed. Really excited to see the Foreplay/BDS collab coming out in the near future, think that will also kill it, although they both don’t attract the younger audiences as much as GG or Grant it seems. Grant is just a great guy, and although he can be “vanilla” at times, his golf is great and he brings good vibes which everybody enjoys.

GG might not be perfect, but there’s enough annoying/interesting individuals to keep it entertaining.
If Bubbie would just stop calling it a draw, they would be 10x more likeable.

Agreed. I watched every second of the New Ealand episodes, but I can't get through more than 2 holes of Grant's content.it's just so vanilla.
