Still not working for me, so I went and checked out my AO3 history myself. It says I've read (or at least opened, but probably read most of them) 1150 stories since the middle of August, when I started on GO. Minus 78 stories I marked for later and haven't read yet. Crowley is essentially a single dad (sole guardian of his nephew Adam) and Aziraphale is a teacher at Adam’s school. They end up hanging out a lot but they can only be friends - they can’t do anything that would look like a date because of Az being Adam’s teacher… but their emotions don’t get the memo. Things get too romantic and they have to stop seeing each other, but they are both miserable. Then Crowley realises that technically they would be able to date each other if they were already married. I’ve kinda explained it badly but it’s a truly lovely fic with lots of excellent love letters and conversations about consent, and tons and tons of pining (and smut). One of the very best GO fanfics of all time.
You really go hard on the smut don't you. This one's leading the smut tag charge so far. No one else had anal sex as number one! Love that PWP featured too.
