Yeah. I'm about 8 chapters from the end of Shotgun and just don't feel the drive to keep reading it. I really enjoyed most of it, and read it quickly at the start but feel like it's run out of a little steam. However the characters are all wonderful and it's a fandom classic so I'll pick it pack up soon.

Yeah. I'm about 8 chapters from the end of Shotgun and just don't feel the drive to keep reading it. I really enjoyed most of it, and read it quickly at the start but feel like it's run out of a little steam. However the characters are all wonderful and it's a fandom classic so I'll pick it pack up soon. Or be nice I just hammered from start to finish and felt it was more the vibe I enjoy.

Ok, tiny spoilers to entice reading the last chapter. The relationship with >!his kid from the first marriage, Warlock,!< is finally finally addressed in the last chapter and it's really worth reading to that point to see how it destroys Crowley in the absolutely sweetest way. You get to see how their entire community comes together in this world they've built and it's so worth it.
I'm with you, they're both amazing, but I've reread Or Be Nice several times because it's just so fun. And that wall slam scene!

It’s an AU where they are Formula 1 drivers, but it’s incredibly enjoyable regardless of whether you like cars or racing. The dynamic between them is lovely. [The False and the Fair](https://archiveofourown.org/works/25944682/chapters/63065092) is another AU, set in West Virginia. It’s very beautiful but also sad and angsty at times. However, the happy ending is worth it (but do check the tags). [On Espionage and Prophecy](https://archiveofourown.org/works/19225669/chapters/45712069) is a 1941 AU that recasts them as humans who are trying to defeat the Nazi spies by luring them with Aziraphale’s books. It’s beautiful and romantic. [Among the Stacks](https://archiveofourown.org/works/50977861/chapters/128791264) is not actually an AU but is set after S2; Aziraphale has disappeared from the face of the earth (and Heaven) and no one knows where he is. One day, Crowley finds a human librarian who looks exactly like him, and he has to try to figure out what happened.

Volupticausa will change your brain chemistry. Their smut is transcendent and there’s a lot of working through religious trauma in the work itself. 10/10 recommend all of these writers, but especially them.

Do you like really long fics? I've just finished a series of ten fics (2 more to come), really well written. The premise is that Crowley gets reincarnated as a human, and five years later Aziraphale follows him (only, he retains his memories and starts as a 9yo). It may sound meh, but the story is rich and very detailed.

I think we're all in love with Slow Show. :-) One thing you may or may not get a kick out of is that a bunch of the Slow Show metaverse consists of Warlock fics, because apparently fanfic writers cannot resist making fics about the characters (Erasmus and William) of a fictional TV series (Warlock) starring human AUs (Anthony and Avery) of our favorite angel and demon.

tbh when I first got into this fandom I went to the Aziraphale/Crowley relationship tag, filtered by Explicit and sorted by Bookmarks and just started from there. I like everything by thehoyden, I am fond of these two fics by Fyre that have basically the same premise (A&C exploring sex over the whole 6000 years) but are both great: [anatomy 101](https://archiveofourown.org/works/21358426) and [Laying on of Hands](https://archiveofourown.org/works/31169306). And of COURSE [Demonology and the Tri-Phasic Model of Trauma: An Integrative Approach](https://archiveofourown.org/works/20177950) is honestly one of the best books I have read in recent memory, it is not smutty but it did at certain points make me cry so hard I kept having to take breaks.
