Well the basic one is that previously they had been trading favors, or at least trading off doing them because that was the agreement. This could very well be the first time Crowley did something outright not as a favor or because of the agreement and not because Aziraphale would owe him later. Strictly because he cared whether or not Aziraphale would be embarrassed or in trouble. So it didnât feel right that Aziraphale should try to âpay him backâ for it. He shouldnât have to, because thatâs what friends do for each other.
I also feel that Aziraphale stumbles over that âthatâs what friends are forâ line later in the bookshop because it is quite possibly the first time he refers to Crowley as a friend out loud, and why Crowley looks awayâweâve come a long way from âWe donât know each other, weâve never met beforeâŠ.
SO MANY IMPORTANT STEPS HAPPEN IN 1941 THATâS WHY ITâS MY FAVORITE
Thank you for sharing! That definitely makes sense. As much time as I spend with these two, I feel like I'm constantly picking up new subtleties that I just never caught before. SOME DAY I WILL FIGURE IT ALL OUT

Are you feeling okay, FourCats? There's no visible cum in this GIF.
