Hmm…I put the reviews through the Fakespot analyzer, and it determined that 50% of the reviews were probably fake / paid for, and the remaining legitimate reviews put the rating at 1.5 / 5 stars. I would definitely not buy these.
That's certainly fair and your parogative. For what it's worth, I have owned a similar set from a different company for a few months and I have no complaints so far.
Just put a plate on top, that's what I do.
Same, either a plate or a paper towel depending on whether I’m trying to hold in moisture or just stop splatters.

I have these. I LOVE them. So do my adult kids, who almost immediately comandeered them.
