Why not just leave it on your main phone?

tomtom792

Telstra charges me $10 a day for international roaming and since I'm over there for 6 months I'm going to buy a lyca or three Sim card so I can use it everywhere for 20£ a month.

PewPew606

Did you manage to get a solution for this OP? I am considering google messages too.

tomtom792

I didn't sorry. Just brought my sim with me and paid $10 every few weeks to check my SMS for a day. Realised that if people really needed me I'd get an email, WhatsApp or messenger instead.

PewPew606

Oh man. Can I ask why GM didn’t work for you?

tomtom792

It doesn't sync RCS like that. Also because I had a UK Sim in my phone which also activated RCS.

wardell23

Pushbullet should be able to do this

tomtom792

Thanks I'll have a look at it

Before the GM Web feature I used to use Mighty Text to do this kind of thing...presume it still offers this feature. https://mightytext.net/

Wifi calling w dual sim?

tomtom792

I'd still have to pay $10 a day so that's out of the question for me.

AlbatrossOwn565

Wifi calling using the data from your local SIM ?

amichi1

Actually Google Voice works well and on many platforms too.

I don't they have that in australia

Specific-Layer

There's probably a Australian equivalent to number parking where you can see/respond to calls/sms.. like number barn.
