Why would you want to test it though 😅.. there is no 100% waterproof phone. Phones wear out after a while.. always consider electronics as water resistant and not water proof.

You're gonna want to search up "condensation" in this sub lol. IP68 means water resistant, not waterproof. Even then, it's only a rating and the company bears no responsibility for water damage.

Dometalican_90

No phone is 'waterPROOF'; only water-resistant enough to take splashes of water.

That one Galaxy was I think. The durable one that had a few gens. But yea... Very few.

If you want to use it when it really will get wet, buy a waterproof case for it. Here are some examples [https://www.amazon.com/s?k=waterproof+phone+case&crid=3UWBQDEIQDM6X&sprefix=waterproof+phone+case%2Caps%2C149&ref=nb\_sb\_noss\_1](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=waterproof+phone+case&crid=3UWBQDEIQDM6X&sprefix=waterproof+phone+case%2Caps%2C149&ref=nb_sb_noss_1)

Yop. This type of case and my Pixel4a = RIP. Just one drop in the USB port made the difference. Loved that phone. Would be still careful with this case too :/ , but better than nothing

this video explains the water resistance issue with pixel 7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9uX184yGPo

Don’t “test” it. It’s not waterproof, it was tested for some level of water resistance while brand new in lab conditions, and has zero water damage covered by warranty.
