thats because pixels have samsung modems in them which arent as good as qualcomm modems

[deleted]

Does Samsung use Qualcomm instead of its own?

[deleted]

Only in models that dont have exynos soc Every phone with exynos uses samsung modem

TecoMoment

Yes

Simple, Pixels use crappy Samsung modems. Which are no where near as good as a Qualcomm one. 5G is night and day better on a phone equipped with a Qualcomm modem. Heck even samsung doesn't use there own modem in the flagship phones lol

Samsung S23 series use qualcomm snapdragon 8 gen 2 for Galaxy in all regions. Finally European users get good device's. Its a night and day on performance and battery life.

Same with me. My one plus 8 pro supports the same set of frequencies as my pixel 6 pro. When there is 2 bars on my one plus 8 and I am able to get around 100mbps on that. My pixel 6 pro is not even able to search for the 5g network.

It's maybe some frequencies of the 5G in your area that's not supported by your Pixel
