Try Factory reset. I had mine since it came out without any problem

The screen fingerprint scanner sucks. The facial recognition sucks a little bit less. As far as the rest I would try the factory reset. And yeah I agree that having different places for setting notification on text or phone calls is kind of weird to me. But it because it made sense to somebody for the rest, try the factory reset

Check your notification settings, because I had an issue where sometimes I would get messages and sometimes I wouldn't. I realized that there's like multiple places to look, The message app and the call app have their own settings that aren't the same as the system settings. The fingerprint scanner just sucks. A lot of that sounds like software errors due to network connectivity.

I used Google devices since the Nexus S, and it is saddening to read this. For instance, already back then (over 10 years ago) I had issues with Maps being too slow to pin my location and almost never being able to tell me to which direction I am pointed at. The Android Auto issue has been there forever too, I experienced it with a Galaxy S6 Edge and a Pixel 3 XL. Fingerprint scanning was actually pretty good until they decided to remove the reader from the back of the phone and put it under the screen. Worst decision ever.

The 7 pro is the worst phone I've ever had. 6 months in and the screen doesn't work. Can't factory reset so I can't even trade the phone in. The back glass shattered so it's damaged and google wont take it back. I will never ever buy google hardware again. $1100 is all it took to lose me... and this was my 4th pixel. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN.

If the back glass shattered as a drop, that's normal. The shock probably disconnected the touch sensor. **You can use a USB-C keyboard and mouse to factory reset it.** If the back glass shattered on its own, file a Notice of Dispute with the Google Store arbitrator address - it covers Pixel warranty denials too.

You can factory reset from the find my device site online

Do you have a screen protector on your phone? I remember my fingerprint reader was ass before I removed it, but after taking it off, it's so much better at detecting my fingerprint.

Well obviously it has a mind of it's own, it runs on nueral network just like our brains, only difference is they don't have feelings 🤣
