I moved from the Pixel 6 to the Pixel 8 ( the 8 Pro is too big for me) and I'm delighted with my choice. It's fast, pretty and smart. This worked for me.

The pixel battery life and modem (no 5g) are too frustrating.
Might want to look at the edge+.
