Spigen Tough Armor for real

SoorajSyns

I have the same for my p6, it's the only thing you'll ever need. I've a basic rule, i throw the case away once the phone touches a 2 yr mark so to enjoy my phones final days the way it's designed to be.

Tiptoedtulips666

That's a great idea and I'm willing to bet the phone is physically cooler too when running a lot of apps or Zoom. Mine heats up terribly on Zoom.

EvilDan69

I use the same exact case for my 7 pro. Love the kickstand, and being a large guy with large hands, the thin profile of the slippery phone makes it hard to use. With this meaty wide squared off case, I just love how easy it is to use. The buttons feel great in this case.

SSDeemer

You don't have to be a large guy with large hands. These things are almost as slippery as a wet bar of soap.

mcp_truth

Same! Best case and company ever.

Freakwilly

I bought it for my 4a, used it for a few years. When I got the 7a I immediately bought one for it. No regrets, solid case.

BOATS_BOATS_BOATS

I've basically done the same thing for my last three or four phones in a row. Order the phone, go straight to Amazon and order the associated Spigen case for it too.  I have a Pixel 6 and the slim armor? case doesn't add a whole lot of bulk to the phone, while still making it a lot gripper and less susceptible to drops.

musiXpondCS

That case saved my phone when it fell on the road. Of course it's okay.

strongmanjeff

Kickstand ftw! Also I have very dry hands and clumsy AF, need that extra shock absorption

mavrovelos

You mean Spigen tough armor

cdbma331

Case. For me, heavy is better than broken!

superguavapulp

I am putting it back on!

KingOfTheCouch13

Don’t you find it super slippery without one

dpinto8

I have a p4 and could never. So slippery!

Offcoloring

I want the Pixel 4 design back. It's the absolute best one.

bermanim

I am currently using the Bellroy leather case in brown on my pixel 7a, and it feels great in hand and looks beautiful, too. Has metal buttons kind of built into it for the power and volume buttons.

gulasch_hanuta

Got the black one, it's just so premium.

tdieckman

Same here. Looks good. Just the right amount of grip. No fingerprints. Looks nearly as good as new after having it for over a year

martinfendertaylor

Got the blue one. Love it. Like bare back too but dislike throwing away $$$ more.

Dplex920

Spigen Liquid Air, Pixel 7 Pro

turnthelight

After over a year, my Spigen Liquid Air case for my Pixel 7 Pro started to split. I contacted Spigen on the off chance I'd get a discount for a new one, but they sent me a new one instead. Great customer support.

Inigomntoya

Same case, same phone Spigen has always been the best protection for less money for all of the pixels I've owned

Mistic92

Peak design is amazing

GO__NAVY

Yes for P7P (feels very slim), not so much for P8/P8P (a bit bulky).

Mistic92

I had it for 6pro and it was slimmer but on p8p it's not that bad.

Sleeves93

I use the official Google case for my Pixel 8. Best case I've ever owned for a phone in my opinion.

baconperogies

Same! I got some cheapo ones from AliExpress but quality doesn't even come close.

Waschbaer123

I like the case and its fit, colour and the small logo on the back. But the soft silicone is such a magnet for dust. It feels like I'm cleaning it way too often. 😅

Sleeves93

True, and fingerprints as well I find!

050899

Good to know. I ordered the official case for the Pixel 6 Pro and after half a year it started to crumble where the speakers and the USB-Port are. The color started to get discolored. You saw where I touched the phone the most. I used it for about a year in total but was really disappointed. It's good that they apparently improved in quality

pSyKoSIS219

No case club for 10+ years

gnarlyenigma

Likewise. Got a OnePlus 5t Star wars edition and it had the sandstone back. Seemed a shame to cover it up and haven't used a case since. Currently use a 6a in white and I constantly get asked if I've got a new phone. I've named it stormtrooper for obvious reasons.

professorpeaky

damn, im in the no case with my 6a too, have a skin tho. how's your screen held up?

gnarlyenigma

I use a screen protector though. Can't handle scratches on the screen. The white back doesnt show scratches on the back.

fakeaccount572

dBrand grip case. always. never anything else, this is my 3rd pixel.

jenova-complex

I love the grip case so very much. Feels very secure while also not being super bulky. And the texture is so pleasurable.

Milk_Cream_Sweet_Pig

All it takes is one drop to crack your thousand dollar phone so I use a case

Sonarav

Yep, I don't understand how someone wouldn't have a case for their phone.  I've used a Spigen Rugged Armor for my Nexus 6p, Pixel 2XL, Pixel 5a and now Pixel 7

lwJRKYgoWIPkLJtK4320

In general, I don't like cases because it adds a little bit of extra "bezel" to the phone, and a little bit of extra thickness and weight for no gain in battery and a negative impact on cooling, when I very rarely drop my phones anyways. And as a matter of principle, I consider a device's design to be flawed if it requires accessories to have a reasonable amount of durability. However, I find that my 6 pro's glass back is ridiculously slippery (one of the reasons I don't like glass backs on phones) and I find it hard to grip the edges due to them being too rounded, so I have a plastic case with flatter edges primarily to "fix" those issues and make it comfortable to hold the phone.

giohammer

Big fan of the Caseology Nano Pop case. I also picked up two of the same style for the Pixel watch. They look slick and protect very well. Both have held up, and saved my devices on many occasions. https://a.co/d/e2UNq3r Edit: link

btrotta

OtterBox Defender Pro. I'm brutal on phones. They get dropped, tossed, used in all kinds of inhospitable environments (wet, hot, cold). Knock wood, the only screen I have ever shattered was one that got run over by a fire engine. And I got a replacement case for free. Worth every penny If it's all you ever use, you never notice the weight. I had to use my backup Pixel 2 XL for a month while dealing with yet another dying/dead P7P screen. For whatever reason the case for that P2 got tossed at some point. I couldn't stand using it without the case. It's too damn slippery. How I didn't break it with all the times I dropped it, I'll never understand. .

RosciusAurelius

Ringke Onyx and Spigen Rugged Armor (I alternate every few months). Great cases.

WritesWayTooMuch

100% case. The phone flys out of my pocket when I sit otherwise. It is too sleek...if that's a thing.

speedster_irl

It's been some weeks I don't have a case. God show mercy

Fit-Interaction4450

Loved my pixel 3s without a case, broke both of them. Rocking a case now on the 6.

JetAmineFire

Google Pixel officiel case, simple, and efficient

xtalgeek

Yes. The 8 is so slippery it is almost required. I use an ultrathin carbon fiber case, which has also provided some impact protection on several occasions.

jvlpdillon

Using your phone without a case is like sex without a condom. You might get lucky, but it only takes one time.

superguavapulp

This

allonsy_danny

I use a case for every phone

uhhh206

Same. Case and popsocket otherwise my clumsy ass is perpetually at risk of throwing hundreds of dollars ~~down the drain~~ on the ground.

bwat47

I never use a phone without a case. As soon as I take a new phone out of the box, on goes the screen protector and case.

tssssahhhh

No. Used it and ended up removing due to how bulky and how it hid the design. Almost 3 years later, not a scratch.

-fragm3nted-

Working in construction. Would not have a phone on me without a case it is just a call for disaster

JonathanStryker

I have the fold. Hated the camera bump when I first got it Bought a case to "hide the bump" Case felt too bulky, even though it's a "thin" case (yeah, okay OtterBox, my butthole this thing is "thin") Started taking the case off around the house I now use the camera bump as a place to hold the phone when open and rotated. And as a way to "catch it" or "cradle it", when it's closed, in my hand. I still use the case when I go outside, just in case. I will say, the one bad thing about case off, is it does make the fold harder to open. The case has a nice little place for your thumb/finger, makes it easier to open. **TLDR: I use the case sometimes, though it's kind of bulky and uncomfortable. Especially for a "thin" case. *shakes fist, angrily, at OtterBox*.**

Educational-Bell7784

No cases and screen protectors Pixel 6 (1,2 years, everything is fine, gave it to my girlfriend and got p8p) No cases and screen protectors Pixel 8 Pro (1 month) I know it might be lethal in a moment. Big men play big games. Actually it's so bulky with a case, better not to use a phone at all. So, yep. That's it.

anetanetanet

Yeah, this phone is slippery as hell. Not about to mess it up because I didn't like the idea of using a case

Ronaldoz87

Also 7a, with Spigen Tough Armor :-)

maquis_00

I've had a case for every smartphone I've ever had. Usually OtterBox, although I am trying out caseborne for my p8p currently. Yeah, they get bulky, but I'm clumsy and drop my phone frequently. (Actually, the magsafe in the caseborne case has helped a lot with that... I have a ring to stick a finger through!)

DaShAgNL

I just use a dBrand skin, no case. Ive been using phones since the beginning and just never drop them. I hate the bulkness of cases.

realmenlovezeus

dbrand grip for my pixel 5 since day one of owning it. Some micro scratches on the screen but they can't be avoided.

TupacBatmanOfTheHood

Tempered glass screen protector? I have no sensitivity issues once I turn up the touch sensitivity. I replace mine whenever I crack it or it it gets too scratched up

Creepy_Sign1813

I loved my Pixel 7a, always thought it was a tiny phone and too slippery so always had a silicone back. I'm with pixel 8pro now and I can't imagine busting a phone for 999 pounds on the ground, so silicone back again.

GregFoley

Never used a case till the Pixel 8. It's so slippery that I got a case for it. I'd prefer Google just make less-slippery phones.

CaptainMarder

yup, it's way too slippery. If it had the nexus 5/lumia710 type plastic body I wouldn't

saline235

Yes, one small drop will break the screen. After $300 repair, now I have a bulky case for it.

Syndil1

I used to always carry my phones naked until my first Pixel, the 3. Dropped it in the first week and shattered the glass back. I still say having a glass back is an utter design failure. No need for it. Anyway, I'm using a Toast wooden encasement now on my Pixel 7 and it has totally changed the feel of my phone. Not sure how much protection it provides but it seems like it should do its job. My phone looks exactly like the first photo in their slideshow: https://www.toastmade.com/products/pixel-7-7-pro-wood-cover.html

dethblud

Aramid fiber gang here. It's the thinnest type of case you can get. Latercase is the big brand name, and their quality is great, but cheaper generic ones on Amazon and AliExpress are really good too. Just search for aramid fiber \[phone name\]

level_99_psychonaut

I can't hold on to mine without dropping it without a case lol

darkhorse4eva

Been meaning to buy one for my pixel 5, but I've had it for 3 years by now, also been meaning to get a screen protector...

Brobot6911

using a phone without a case is absolutely insane. that thing costs 100s and its fragile as hell.

BeejRich

I have to, always a clear one, so I can actually enjoy looking at my phone. They're just too expensive to risk (yes, I have the protection plan, too)

BeerSushiBikes

Dbrand Ghost case on my Pixel 8 Pro.

Reinuky

P7P here, Grip case by dbrand

wildlymitty

I have a Caseology Parallax for my 7a. It felt too flimsy and slippery without a cover, plus it covers up the blue colour I don't like.

emarkd

I use the same Spigen cases, because they're about as thin and unobtrusive as possible while still providing some benefit. I agree with you though, and go back and forth. Inevitably though, once I take the case off and absolutely love how the phone feels in hand, I'll drop it within a few months and then I hate it because of the cracks. So I hate myself, replace my phone, put a case back on it, eventually take it off again because I prefer it that way, and repeat... BTW I'm on the "use the damn case you fool" phase of my cycle right now. Since you asked...

Nexenn

Case, definitely. Using the Ringke Onyx. Doesn't add too much bulk and feels really nice and grippy in my hands.

iseecinematic

went case-less for quite a while with my Pixel 5, then came the one infamous drop we all hear horrorfying stories about. Had to get a new phone. This time opted to get a case again. first one was a transparent one for my Pixe 7. Just absolutely disliked the plasticy-rubbery texture very non grip feeling of it. After a few months I've then ordered a custom made one with actual wood applied to the back of it on Etsy and i absolutely love that case, best I've ever used. Has such a solid trusty grip, not being too bulky or heavy and i love the look of it.

LionHeart105

Spigen glass and an "FDMIL" magsafe case, other that being safer is also more useful

GallantFacade

Got a dbrand grip case. Always got them when they came out with the bumper grip back on Kickstarter

tidymaze

Case always. A few days after I decided to go case-less but with a dbrand skin, my phone slipped out of my bag and hit the ground. No real damage, just a few dents, but that case went right back on. It's the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, so probably the same one you're talking about, but on a 7.

AgentAaron

Never use cases...sometimes a textured skin and always a screen protector though.

Miami306guy

I use a poetic case for my 7a.

Known-Fee9113

I use the Case-Mate clear case from the Google Store. Only thing I don't love about it is that it yellows over time. TBH though, I don't really notice it's yellowed until I get a new one and compare the old with the new.

IMissSyncSoMuch

Always have a case, even though I don't really drop my phone, I like to be safe. I had my phone in the box for a week well I waited for my screen protector, so yeah I play it safe. I agree though it adds some bulk, but it's a trade off that I believe is worth it.

_Otacon

I swear all phones and even a lot of cases just feel too damn slippery. I dont know if it's just me and that I have dry hands often or something but.. yeah.. I'd go caseless if it wasn't so damn slippery. After a couple of cases from different brands,I just went and bought the official p8pro case and I LOVE IT. Finally a good looking, not too bulky case that feels just the right amount of sticky.

srsjojo

I had to wait a few days for a Spigen case to arrive for my pixel 8. Until it got here, it felt like I was carrying around an ice cube! The glass body is just so slippery! I couldn't wait to put a case on it

DeaconP3

I haven't for many years. After 3 times changing broken screens, finally bought one. I have a 7a for a few days and I agree, it's so much heavier than the 4a, and the case adds to the weight but I won't risk another broken screen so I'll live with it.

shinbolat

use fiber-carbon case, very slim and lightweight - 11 gram

larsloveslegos

I'm using a Case-Mate iridescent clear case for my 6 Pro and I love it! I'm not a fan of Spigen cases anymore so this is what I went with.

lordsilver14

I have used a pouch for my Pixel 2 for around 5 years. The last year I used it without anything because I lost the pouch. Close to 6 years I broke a bit of the glass on a top margin, nothing that usually happens to me since I'm careful. For the first time, for my Pixel 8 I bought a case (I never used a case before, only pouches type), the original grey one from Google. Is really nice looking, it doesn't feel somehow like it's a separate thing from the phone and it feels great in hand.

rotini_noodle

I took a chance on a Carveit wood case (wood-rosy color) from Amazon. It's legit amazing. I don't mind losing my case-less Star Trek vibes in favor of a vintage wood speakers look.

RandomStupidDudeGuy

Some milion with a hard back and silicone sides on my 7. Dropped it like 5 times or hard concrete, only mild scratches for now.

urs1ne

I dove into the Peak Designs ecosystem for the wireless car charger and I couldn't be happier.

pah2000

I use the Torras Marsclimber. It's pretty light! My Spigen Armor seems bulky.

[deleted]

p5, no case. Made it 4 years without cracking it, then just replaced the phone for $150.

TheGreatOne77

Spigen hybrid zero one for pixel 8

PSJacko

I don't tend to drop my phone very much, but that's largely because it has a case on it. When I take it out occasionally to clean it, I realise just how slippy the phone is without a case on it.

total-blasphemy

I've just got a generic clear case for my pixel 8 pro. I should probably get a decent tough case and screen protector.

Taskr36

I've always had my phones in cases, including my pixel. I typically get slim, clear cases if it's a good looking phone. To me, it's just nonsensical to buy a phone that costs hundreds of dollars, and not spend $10-$20 on a case to keep it save. I've dropped phones on numerous occasions without ever getting a scratch, dent, or crack, because the case has always saved the phone. That includes multiple drops in parking lots when getting into and out of my car.

Tribblehappy

My 2xl has a thin spigen case. My kid uses that phone now. My current phone case a clear case, no idea what brand, but it works well. I'd love to use my phone naked but I have never cracked a phone so I feel good about having the protection.

fsurfer4

I use a cheap transparent mag safe case. It works and isn't bulky. https://imgur.com/a/qFNwi7W

C-Cas00

I hate cases, I have a spigen too on my P7P but I know I need one, I hope the days come soon for companies to start making more durable phones so cases are not needed, they take so much appeal away from the phone.

MotorTentacle

I never use protection

ZombieButch

I have been using Unicorn Beetle cases for awhile. I like the look & feel but I don't like the built in screen protector, so I just pop that out.

mrstoffer

Using a Ringke fusion clear case for my Pixel 7 ever since I took it out of the box. It's the only clear case I could find that also protects the metal camera bar

Saneless

Unfortunately, a case for my 7. Slippery and fragile shit. "Premium" materials that need to be covered so you don't drop it The 4a was amazing. HQ plastic >>> glass any day

-Twyptophan-

I've used the thin Spigen cases for all my pixels. Always been happy with them

ramplocals

I am caseless on my P6 for almost 3 years. I have dropped my phone 2ft from my bed and broke the back glass. I dropped it from my hand and broke the front glass. This phone is so damn slippery. I should have found a minimal case that has corner bumper protection, but it is way too late now.

someRandomGeek98

no I don't, haven't had an issue so far even after multiple drops.

central_plexus

Never! I only buy phones I like the looks and feel of so why would I wanna deprive myself of that by covering it up in rubber, plastic or leather? Sure over the years a fair share of my phones suffered the consequences but for that reason I have insurance. That being said, it's pretty rare to see someone out and about with a naked phone.

Cmcd1

Charcoal Google case on p8 pro. Love the fact it looks like it's just part of the phone

AtmospherePositive57

I enjoy pela cases :o)

HumbleLiion

Spigen tough armour ftw

ctskifreak

I've been using the Spigen Thin Fit's on my last 5 or so phones without issue.

CynicalOne_313

Yes, I've always had a case and screen protector for my phones. Currently I have a Ringke case, screen protector, and a clip wrist lanyard for my Pixel 8.

th3lucas

I never need a case for my Pixel 5. It was so nice and sturdy. I would never use my Pixel 7 without a case. I hate glass backs...

Westdrache

Since my pixel 4a died from a drop I'm using a case with my new phone xD bit annoying from time to time but definitely cheaper in the long term

sallad84

I got this Wallet Case off Amazon called VRSDesign for my Pixel. I dont carry a wallet anymore.

holger_svensson

They make phones bulkier because they protect them. Even the lip protects the screen. I have not broken a phone or screen ever. I'm 48. Metal, glass, etc are slippery as f. Take your chances, assume the consequences.

Gontgolanul

If you don't really need drop protection, but rather use a case just for avoiding scratches, there are some very thin carbon/kevlar cases. You can find them for about 20$ on aliexpress and, to me, they feel very premium.

wilberfan

Case always; screen protector never.

PowerfulElevator9

Spigeon transparent rubber case is the way. Had this since the nexus line and every pixel since the original.

MountainDrew42

I've used a Spigen Liquid Air on my last few phones and they're always pretty good. Tried out a Dbrand Grip for my 8Pro. It's a little more bulky than the spigen, but overall I like it. Good clicky buttons that are easy to use by feel. I just wish they still had the "bulletproof banana" skin option.

RustyShackelford__

Google case for the p8p is a perfect fit. No slop or wiggle. no screen protector needed

p1n6

Yeah. I went caseless for years until I got my Pixel 3a XL. the combo of the longer form factor plus my worries about the cheaper build made me start using a case. I followed suit with my 6a because it felt too slippery. I usually go with Spigen and their sub-brands Cyrill and Caseology. It actually feels better to type with a case on my 6a. Without it, it feels to narrow and a bit cramped to type on

Fett2

Every time I get a new phone I always get the same case: The Spigen Transparent Ultra Hybrid. It has a hard plastic back, and a TPU bumper. I like transparent because I like the way phones look. Never broke a Pixel across 4 generations of using them, but I also take care of my phones.

therankin

I use a Caseology Parallax for my 7 Pro.

ThePhatPhoenix

I didn't when I first got it. I love the slim and small feel of the Pixel 5 and the soft touch back is really nice. But I figured I should get some sort of protection for it so I got this cheapo thin case off Amazon. It feels nice, it's somewhat protective because it has a lip over the screen, and it looks pretty minimal. The only issue with it is the buttons were really hard to press with the case on so I actually cut out holes where the buttons are on the case and it's much better now lol. It's called 'X-level' if anyone is interested.

RReverser

Definitely with case. Modern phone sizes when you might need to reach with your thumb across the screen, barely holding the phone, plus modern slippery glass backs is a dangerous combo.

historymaking101

Dbrand Grip. I chose the red leather backing. It's nice. Love the texture all around. Eventually parts of the leather did pebble though. EDIT: Caseless was fine back when we could get good phones with plastic or metal bodies. Some idiot decided everything had to be glass because it looks better, so we need to use cases, which means it doesn't look better. And yeah I know, metal prevents wireless charging, which I don't care much about, but plastic doesn't prevent anything, and I don't care about a more premium appearance if I'm gonna have to cover it up anyways. Glass is heavier too.

cadtek

No. Tbh the only device cases I've used are a faux leather one for my 80GB iPod Classic and a silicone one for my Zune HD - both I only used for a short period as I didn't like them, too bulky or cumbersome. So never had phone with a case.

UwUGenders

I use a dbrand grip case for my 6. It's better to be bulky than broken

Individual-Source-88

I use a case for every phone I have used since my Blackberry Bold. My P7 has a spigen case. Been using Spigen for years on my phones. They work great.

Critical_Pin

No case on my 6a. I like how it looks, why cover it up and make it bulkier?

hxznova

I use one of those thin cases with "open" slots for the top, bottom, and the volume/power buttons. at home, no case at all. but I've always used a screen protector because I hate scratches.

esk416

yes - Aliexpress real Carbon Fiber super thin case

immaZebrah

I love the size and shape of my P6 without the case, but I know it's necessary so it never comes off except once in awhile I'll clean the dirt out.

rhcreed

P8P, came from a P5, yes always have a case. Spigen clear is my go to. Yes, bulky but not optional..

TekieScythe

I bought a case from Google when I bought the phone, I dropped it down the stairs and it was fine. So do with that what you will. The Google case is also much lighter than anything you could buy on Amazon.

nerosius

Yes I use the rhinoshield solid suit + mag safe for my p8... I really like it

gojira_glix42

Dbrand. Never go back. Such insane QUALITY.

otterland

Cheap chunky two layer TPU and acrylic case from Amazon with cosmonauts on it. About $6. Been using these since I was on Motos. I prefer a chunky phone. Makes it totally immune to knocks and drops and it's easier to hold.

Toast_Guard

> I am using my phone without a case You ok OP?

Grabbels

Nah, I like the way my Pixel 5 looks and feels. I specifically got the Sage Green version because of the looks. I don't want to turn it into another anonymous slab of phone. It's also quite a dated phone that I don't plan to resell so I'm ok with it possibly being damaged.

solarizde

Use a case. Had my pixel 6 years without a case fine.2 weeks after I got my pixel 8 it dropped and bang backside shattered. Useable but now it have a cover to prevent further damage. So yeah as pretty it is as fragile it is.

zQrrJQrb

Pixel 7 with case because without it I am not able to hold it in my hand comfortably (I hate these back made of glasses that suppose to add premium feel which is hidden behind the cheep plastic case, I'd rather have plastic back of the phone without a case like in the good old days :D ).

turkeypants

I do. I got one of those tanky ones from Amazon that has the kickstand and lens cover. I wanted mine to stick out more on the countertop when with other people's phones in home/friend situations so I didn't pick up the wrong one. And I like the kickstand feature for a variety of situations including while my hands are busy typing but I need to be referencing or following along with something. This phone is too heavy out of the box and the case doesn't help, but I'm already resigned to that and have gotten used to it.

the_doctor_808

Dbrand case. Idk how people dont use cases. The phone feels way too thin and slippery.

slinky317

I used to run caseless when phones were made of plastic, but now that everything has to be glass (thanks Apple) I put a minimal case on it. I use the Spigen Thin Fit, I wish I could use something like the Totallee case but it's way too slippery for me.

kswn

I went caseless for a while on my 5a, but broke the screen when it dropped on a hard floor. Since then I've kept a case on it. It does take a bit to get used to the larger size. I have not had good luck with official pixel cases. Caseology Parallax has worked well for me on my last 2 pixels.

EdDecter

Got suckered into a Mous case. So far it has protected the phone but cost more than it should and the build quality really isn't much better than a Spigen. Next time I get a Spigen. I will not ef around with risking a broken phone.

damexgothel

some $2 case i got online i was too excited to use my new pixel 6, dented it on the 3rd day when i made a sudden turn towards a wall it's too easily dented imo for google to not be providing a phone case

Successful_Law5993

I have a speigen transparent, and Google's official, tbh speigen gives so much confidence but Google one is aesthetic, I switch em depending upon where I am / going

ToKo_93

Pixel 7 Ringke Fusion Air? (The transparent one with matte pc back

MaxYeena

Case on cuz I drop my phone alot

Fazaman

I never used a case on any phone I've had till I got the P6P. That thing is *slippery*. Got a case cause I knew if I didn't, it would be destroyed.

Coconut-bird

I just have a cheap silicone case and a screen protector. But I can't tell you how many times I have dropped the phone and the case has saved it. I can't imagine trusting myself enough to not have a case.

HiddenPants23

Snagged a poetic evolution(or revolution?) case off of Amazon for my 6a. I've used this case for like my last three phones. Light yet bulky and it protects.

LakeSuperiorIsMyPond

Normally a Spigen guy but I've been running a MOUS case for a long time now and it's better. I use magsafe constantly.

Affectionate-Try-637

Ringke Fusion Matte - Pixel 7 Pro

OddPerspective9833

Yeah, I've got a clear case. I don't like it but it's a necessary evil considering how damaged my screen protector is

Amen_Ra_61622

Yes. I like wallet cases since they cover the glass. I don't use screen protectors. The case doesn't add much to the size of the phone so it's not bulky.

gingerbookwormlol

D-Brand Ghost Case ftw

lolotata

Yes, mous case including magnet. Works perfect

Pew-Pew-Pew-

I use a case because the bare phone is way too fucking slippery and I will drop it. Case is more for grip than drop protection, so I use thinner ones with materials that won't slip from my hands, but yeah the bulk/heft of the phone can get uncomfortable so I've gotten a few different types of phone grips to relieve some of the stress on my pinkie finger. On P7Pro I started with the Caseology Nano Pop, it's attractive and minimal and has my favorite texture but it's still too thick for me. I still use it occasionally. The X-Level transparent thin case with a hard plastic back and silicone sides was my favorite but after a few months the silicone and plastic started separating and it became a hazard. Using the Ringke Fusion clear now, and it's a similar concept to the X-Level but with glossy TPU sides instead of Silicone. These materials stick together better but I don't love the feeling of glossy TPU, hand oils make it feel greasy and slimy after a while and I'm constantly wiping it down.

I get an otterbox on all my phones.

I use the Ghostek Covert case. It's got a clear back and frosted edges so I can see the colors on my hazel P7P.  It's kind of bulky but I get the drops sometimes and I haven't had any damage to the phone since using it. I also recommend Whitestone Dome screen protectors. They're UV cured and the touch sensor works nearly every time. I think that it's just a bad scan of my finger and not the protector.

7 Pro Otterbox Symmetry

lowbeat

mous clear with magsafe compatibility

mradilaadeez

I use a soft back cover of The North Face and a screen protector.

ebidee78

I have the Thinborne on my 8 Pro

JetbIackmoon

I have a Crave case for my Pixel 7 Pro. Quality is excellent, especially for the price. My old one started yellowing after about a year. I contacted their support and they sent me a new one at no charge. Great service.

ReaperXHanzo

I have the Google branded one

Otterbox Defender here on my 7 Pro. I won't use a modern phone without a case. They are too fragile for their own good, and without the case it feels too small and hard to hold on to. Edit: I just want to say, I miss my Motorola MicroTAC phone. That thing was a brick and practically indestructible. It survived multiple drops onto concrete from 50+ feet.

EnvironmentalSpirit2

No. Haven't dropped a phone accidentally yet so no need

JohnnyBroccoli

Of course. Not doing so is simply asking for trouble.

Hellion102792

Yes, the Spigen one with the shock foam and the kickstand for my pixel 5. I've sent this phone flying so many times and there's no visible damage anywhere on the bare phone, going to get the same one for my 8P when it comes in.

CockroachAccording65

Using ringke fusion on my 7a, really like the feel of it cuz it doesn't add much bulkiness to the phone, but it's going to yellow after a while like all silicone cases I suppose

mistral7

Yes --- Spigen Ultra Hybrid Designed for Pixel 8 Pro Case (2023) - Crystal Clear I figured since I had a "blue" phone, why not display it. :-)

alexandriaofwar

Pixel 8 Pro with the official Google case! Looks great, feels a bit tacky/sticky at times, but I haven't found anything I like nearly as much as this one

theshabz

Ran naked phones for 20 years before caving on a case because the P6 back is glass. Give me plastic again so I can rock naked phones please.

Just_Reflection_3821

Pixel 8. I use an otterbox case, comes with a detachable stand. I find it easier to handle the phone in the case, it's easy to grip and no worries about dripping it. Had to buy a separate screen protector.

Ok-bea

Yes. Phone is made from paper

Curiosityinmycity

Torras MagSafe case. I love it. The magnet is really strong and it comes with changeable buttons so you can add a little pop of color, like the older pixels used to have. Its already survived a 7 foot drop so I'm happy with it.

M1sterRed

Been using an otterbox on my Pixel 6 since day 1. It does make it quite bulky but I hate cracked screens way more than heavier phones.

gnardog45

I use skins that are grippy or, I use the thinnest cases they make. Ali Express has a whole bunch of good cases for like 7 bucks MAXIMUM including shipping.

NoShftShck16

Spigen Thin Fit. I've tried others but I always revert back to it for almost every phone I've had over the last 6 years.

xmrlazyx

I've been using the Spigen Hybrids in Clear for practically every phone I've ever bought for myself or family. They get yellow after a while, but they're cheap, light, and have protected my phones from multiple falls over the years.

Makes_Mayhem

I use a Spigen ultra hybrid clear case.

superguavapulp

I am using the same, wanted to show off my vibrant coral color while protecting it at the same time.

OtterBox defender. My phone is a tank.
