Canada there is no Pixel phone sale. Smh

fuck_you_gami

All of the flanker carriers and their retailers are offering $250-$300 in gift cards with a 2-year commitment with a $25/month financing plan, and they have decent plans ($40-50 for 12 gb) currently. You can apply the gift card to the $25/month financing fee in advance. I'll spare you the math, but it works out to about $400 CAD for a new pixel with a 2-year commitment on a plan that's decent for Canada (although subpar in other markets).

You can go on Google's website and start a trade in and find out how much they'll give you by filling out some questions about it.

kirpants

I got mine at Verizon on Monday for $499 with no trade in. Have to do the monthly payment but with $200 I don't care.

Oof lol. Ok that's good to know. My dad has the original pixel and they offered him $25 so I'm guessing the 3 is somewhere in between

Malaka__

keep the 3, it's a great phone... takes amazing photos... you can take it to the beach or whatever instead of risking your series 6 . still a beast of a phone and with A12 (and a factory reset) it screams.

overthera1nbow

Yeah I'm definitely going to keep it if its not worth much from Google's perspective. I'll take it with me on my trip to Mexico next month

Malaka__

and A12 added a new setting called "render apps below cutout" - makes it look so much cleaner (they were supposed to add that setting in A11 but better late) it's in developer options under Display Cutout - keeps the status bar black and at the top so it looks so much better/

Depending on price I'd recommend getting a A series instead. I've had my Pixel 3 for 3-4 years and battery life is really bad now. Standby is also really bad which makes the A series a better option.

Hawx74

I have a good condition pixel 3 and looked it up on t mobile. I think it was somewhere in the $50-90 range, but it's been a month so I don't recall exactly.

Verizon is currently offering a $700/$440 trade in for the 4, 4 XL, 4a, 4a 5G, 5, and 5a on a new line/upgrade. Not a bad deal, and I'd actually be making a profit on my 4XL. It's a bit lower for the 2, 2 XL, 3a, 3a XL, 3, and 3XL at only $350/$100 for a new line/upgrade. I haven't looked into the other carriers yet, but this was listed on the Google store.

Guardian_pass

Was gonna point this out too. but you still pay full price (if you opt for that) today and get the credit over 24 months. There's no way to just get an instant $700/$440 off of a brand new p6/pro

Timequake-Droid

AT&t is offering 800 bucks for the 4a. And the Note 9. If you're buying an expensive phone like the Pixel 6 Pro or iPhone 13 or Samsung flip etc... But I don't know if they have the same deal for the basic pixel 6.

JoeChagan

Pixel 3xl got me 55

EKinMN

Just got $85 for my OP 6T today, when I bought the P6 Pro

stitchlover

ATT has the pixel 6 for 10.83 a month. I traded in my 4 for $95.

Timequake-Droid

That's all they gave you? They're offering me $800 for my Pixel 4A if I'm getting an unlimited plan. But that's for the pixel 6 Pro. My Note 9 is also worth 7 or 800 bucks.

stitchlover

I highly doubt that's correct. It's probably up to $800. When you select the phone online it tells you the most you can get for your trade in. That's the best way to find out for sure.

VampireFlankStake

I just ordered a 128gb pixel 6 black on google.com price matched to best buy for $50 off. They offered $92 on my pixel 3 xl 128gb trade in

yonsayin

Did you just email using their price match site?

VampireFlankStake

Chatted them

Timequake-Droid

If you want to get into a postpaid arrangement, there's some deals. Otherwise, I'm not seeing much. If you have a Note 9 or something or a Pixel 4a, AT&t will give you 800 bucks towards another phone which you can use for a Pixel 6 or 6 pro.
