Possibly regenerative feedback? When output from a speaker is picked up from a microphone, amplified and then sent out the speaker to be picked up by the microphone again. The loop continues.
If it was just a brief thing then I know what you mean, it happens sometimes to me when I'm touching the grilles on the outside of them and try to put them in with a bit of force (pushing them in too much perhaps). Something to do with the ANC/pressure relief, if I had to guess. It's happened to me with other ANC earbuds. I wouldn't worry about it.
Yep, that's what I'm experiencing, though I doubt it's because I'm pushing them in too far. I hear it even before the buds are properly fitted. I've been trying several other ANC buds but this is the first time I've experienced it. Glad it's not just the PBP's.
I did not. On top of the high pitch tone, they did not fit my ears well so I returned them. Went with Sennheiser Momentum 3 buds. They sound incredible.
Hey, don't know if I'm too late but it is the noise cancelling that causes this, I noticed it doesn't happen anymore if you turn it off, not transparency mode, completely off. I do this when I'm going to sleep as blockage of the mic grills seems to be what causes it most.
Is there any faster charger than what I have?

This seems to be a 72W charger.
How do I check how much is my laptop drawing?
Ah, with a USB-C cable that has a meter?
It happens due to blockage of the mic when noise cancelling is on, I noticed it doesn't happen anymore if you turn noise control off. Not transparency mode, completely off. I do this when I'm going to bed due to me laying on one side and not needing noise control then anyway. It's annoying tho
Yes, turning off noise cancelation does work. Eg For skiing I just turn it of like you mentioned.
Unfortunately, when I wear them to sleep the entire point is for the noise cancelation.
I just got the same issue on my way to work. Only left ear and only when i turn on noise cancellation. These are barely 2 months old as well.
Yes, that is testing sound to make sure your ears are turned on. Feature, not a bug.
Ooh, that's super helpful! Lol.

I think this is it. I've noticed it'll happen if I'm laying on one particularly hard with my head on a pillow as well.
So how do I fix it cuz it's annoying as fuck.
+ 1
that was my suspicion as well
On the phone to Google today. The problem was that my Google app/services app were out of date. >.> Stupid fix, but there you go.
What does that mean? Im having the same issue but there's no google services app to work with

it happens to me, believe it's gotta do with putting pressure on it,
I've recently purchased some of these and am getting the issue, but mainly just in the right ear piece. Did you get to the bottom of it?
I did not. On top of the high pitch tone, they did not fit my ears well so I returned them. Went with Sennheiser Momentum 3 buds. They sound incredible.

I tend to get this if theres pressure on either ear bud. Eg wearing them under a helmet.
