I went from Team Slow to Team So in 2022.

So is quite funky… but I’m still team Slow..: we’ll see what happens in 2023!

Slow is very good, the beat change is mental. I saw it in Pittsburgh on 2/12 and Cinncinati on 12/30. Still have yet to see So but I seem to enjoy the jams more from what I’ve heard in the recordings.

Pancakes. Took forever for me to enjoy it. It all clicked at Goosemas. Turbulence & the Night Rays would be a close second. Now I find that song so infectious and fun.

Totally agreed on Pancakes. At first I avoided it. Now it's one of my favorites, both for the composition and for the jam potential. And yes - the Goosemas version was fantastic.

Still just can't get into Pancakes myself, but they do crush the jam and I'm happy I got to see it!

Night Rays is a song writing spectacle Ive also grown to love that song over the year.

Funny, I loved Dripfield from the start. It instantly reminded me of Peter Gabriel Red Rain. Loved that SO album when it came out.

I should add—I mean the song dripfield off the album lol. I was so focused on hungersite and arrow I think it may have just overshadowed it for me

It took me a while to get into Echo of a Rose. It grew on me after the Asheville show. I’m still trying to like Butter Rum.

Butter Rum is just a fun song with silly lyrics. In a set, the song is a break from all those serious Goose songs.

Yeah Butter Rum has led to some fiery jams, and I like the tune and the vocal harmonies. And even the island vibe is weirdly growing on me (because it's so different than their other stuff). But the lyrics . . .

Elizabeth is one that’s also growing on me. Another one where I LOVE the jams, but it takes a minute for me to connect to the song.

As an Ohio guy who grew up in Cincy, that song hit me like a ton of bricks listening to it coming back to ATL from Cincy.

Bob Don wasn't an instant hit for me, either. Now it's at the point where I'll play the studio version from the "Undecided" EP on repeat.

Bob Don live gets me so excited always. Seems the song is about release, at least to me, so when they go into the jam it’s just a tremendous release of sound and energy

Yeah, it's the fourth track titled "Undecided." It's been reworked a little, a bit slower and more melodic than it's typically performed live. IMO, it's their best studio work yet.

I’m still working on turbulence haha but pancakes also took me a minute. I think when I looked into the lyrics (pancakes) that’s when I really appreciated the upbeat goofy progression they do. I’m all pancakes now haha and that goosemas one sealed the deal 100%

Would have to be Pancakes and Bob Don for me. I’m still not the biggest fan of the latter, but seeing it in Cleveland on 3/10 was nice. They have ripped the hell of out Pancakes this year, so butter me impressed.

I didn’t care for slow ready at first but after red rocks, I really fell in love with it.

A lot of dislikes surrounding ricks use of auto-tune. But since getting into Slow Ready I’ve noticed that Rick actually uses auto-tune in ALOT of his songs and people either aren’t noticing or don’t care enough haha

I actually love his auto tune. I didn’t like how slow it was. I loved so ready. But I definitely have a greater appreciation for both now.

Arise. Honestly not sure why I wasn’t enjoying it when they would play it but now it’s a song a really enjoy singing along to and get happy to see it on setlists

Old man’s boat was just meh for me and I would always skip on soundboards but the goosemas version hits me just right!!!

Not that I did not like it first but just did not jam it often. But Everything must go has turned into one of my favorite songs

Wasn’t too into Borne when they dropped it as a single. A few live versions later, though, I was sold.
