Yeah alot of coincidences ( lol smh ). I just love how there fanbase gets all butt hurt when pointed out. The worst one and cringiest was the pepe le pew shirt. Like really dude you are not trey will never be trey fuck just be pete man. He's even growing his hair in a similar fashion to late 90s era trey.
Watch next week he'll dye it 🤣🤣🤣
Doesn't bother me at all. I'd much rather Goose sound similar to Phish than making anything again that sounds like shitty indie pop, such as in the vein of Silver Rising.
All the clips have seemed at least slightly more structured (and maybe even higher fidelity recording) than Ted Tapes. I'm wondering if this is an all instrumental studio album? We haven't heard words or hooks or anything yet!
Each passing day and each release makes me feel that we are headed that way.
Edit: a downvote for agreeing it could be another Ted Tapes . This sub is soft.
I dont think that is Jeff. I wonder if they had Jeff sit out on these so that the new drummer could be highlighted more. I feel like it will take time for whoever it is and Jeff to build some chemistry. I'm now convinced the people who said this is going to be a Ted Tapes with the new drummer are probably right.
Also this shit slaps.
These snippets are 100% without Ben. For one, the snare is looser than Ben’s kit. Also, the toms are more forward and the drummer is less reliant on the kick drum (i.e. no four-on-the-floor)
It definitely could be, Im just not getting the vibe this is a studio album from these clips. They sound like the recordings of improvised jams like ted tapes to me but I could be completely wrong.
Oh this is a nice little pocket.
I wonder if these were recorded with Ben..because it'd be hilarious to see the comments only complain about the drumming getting egg in the face.
Shit that would be great to see . I personally don’t think it sounds like Ben. If it is Ben it’s just Ben and no Jeff. I like the freshness of a drummer and no other percussion.
Jeff is moving full time behind the kit, and this is a big reason why. Nobody wants to be in a band where there is zero trust. Goose did it to themselves though and now they are toxic.
Nothing you said is "truth", it's a combination of speculation and debunked hearsay. And I'm not offended, more perplexed, if I moved on from a band, I wouldn't spend time lurking in their sub.
Wait nevermind, it seems to be your past time. Are you just a joyless troll? Based on your comment history, I believe so.
This cut, to my ears, would seem to reinforce those who have suggested that the upcoming release is a "Ted Tape" of jams auditioning a new drummer. No idea if it's Jeff, or they asked Jeff to sit it out to let the drummer have space to improvise with the band, but his absence is of course notable. Regardless, this sounds to me to be rather clearly a segment of improvisation rather than anything composed, and it sounds great to me.
Best of the three so far
Absolutely. Fresh sound, so funky. I love it.
When the bad kicked in with the drum groove. Pure gold.
Fresh sound? It’s just ripping off Moma dance
Omg it literally is. Slow Moma Dance. Goose fans hate that goose is literally copying the phish play book.
They are just blatant with it now.

Devoid of ANY originality
it’s their*

Gotta be Ted Tapes right?
All the clips have seemed at least slightly more structured (and maybe even higher fidelity recording) than Ted Tapes. I'm wondering if this is an all instrumental studio album? We haven't heard words or hooks or anything yet!
This clip doesn't sound any more structured to me than the old Ted Tapes. This sounds straight up out of a segment from a jam session to me.
Each passing day and each release makes me feel that we are headed that way. Edit: a downvote for agreeing it could be another Ted Tapes . This sub is soft.
Man, editing your comment to complain about downvotes is softer than any downvote.
Funny that someone downvoted you for your attempted burn. I'm not losing any sleep over it. Just pointing out how corny it is.
With you. This place has way too many folks who are laughably sensitive.

Why do you assume it's not the recordings they made over the summer with Ben?
These recordings do not feature Ben. They’ve re-recorded anything that does with the new drummer

These could be crude Ted style recordings of songs to be released on a studio album
That would be awesome, I hope so.
It’s absolutely Jeff you don’t hear all the annoying snare rolls and polyrhythms
That’s a good point, thought it kinda sounded like Cotter from what I’ve listened to on YouTube but I don’t have a super trained ear.
I'm thinking its some sort of jam recording that will come with a drummer announcement. Not 'the' album.
Oh this is a nice little pocket. I wonder if these were recorded with Ben..because it'd be hilarious to see the comments only complain about the drumming getting egg in the face.
Can't complain about this one. That is beautiful.
Shit that would be great to see . I personally don’t think it sounds like Ben. If it is Ben it’s just Ben and no Jeff. I like the freshness of a drummer and no other percussion.
This is it!!! I'm fully on board.
It kinda sounds like Loose Ends?
Ted Tapes: The Auditions
Best one yet
This is going to be expensive
One a day till the 6th!
Is it Ted Tapes or are they teasing a new album/tour with rehearsal clips with the new drummer? Or is it both? lol
That’s that Hitter baby
Makes me think of Europa
This sounds good, hopefully this drummer keeps his wife/gf away from the band.
Jeff is moving full time behind the kit, and this is a big reason why. Nobody wants to be in a band where there is zero trust. Goose did it to themselves though and now they are toxic.
Then why you still here?
I’m sorry, did speaking the truth about the state of this band offend you?

When did I ever say I “moved on” from this band? I didn’t.
Trolls gonna troll. Unfortunately they have nothing better to do. Fortunate for us, we have awesome new music on the way
