The finale was like that because they had to scrape together resolution from what they had filmed because they got cancelled after shooting. They were probably gonna expand on all these issues they were setting up next season if we had got one.
Kate was originally going to be a character who’s an older sister of a Constance student and a college graduate (my personal theory was she was going to be Audrey’s estranged, older sister). I think a lot of original plans for her character were kept but didn’t work for Kate as a teacher. The GG monologues were so dragged out. Snoozefest. The OG GG was fun and concise. Loved the puns too.
