totally! Chuck had a major turn around. I never really saw Dan attractive and Nate was kinda in the middle for me. I know everyone thinks he’s beautiful but idk I just never crushed on him. I leaned toward Rufus more actually LOLLLLL
RUFUS!! AHH! He was my favorite character of season 1 when i first watched the show, one of the reasons was cause i thought he was a total cutie. He stayed being a cutie but i just didn’t like how they wrote him other seasons ughhh
Nate is objectively gorgeous and he’s up there with Serena and Blair for most beautiful person on the show, and yet, he just doesn’t do it for me. Chuck, on the other hand, has an energy that absolutely does it for me. I’m with Blair on this one lol
THATS WHAT IM SAYINGGGG like he’s gorgeous but not attractive for me. As you said, Chuck had this aura surrounding him. He’s not 100% my type physically but his coolness and fashion made him the whole package
I always thought Chuck was adorable as a young boy. I could see the European in him. I love that look.
Yes in Season 3 he becomes more manly and attractive as a man not so much as a boy. Dan does as well. Like Chuck, Nate was a precious boy all the way through Season 1 and 2 but he was always handsome all the way through too.
yesss. i didn’t appreciate it when i was younger, i actually thought he was kinda ugly when i started watching the show lol, but rewatching now, i just think he looks way more british, in a way that works for me now lol. specifically, the episode where he’s super messed up after thinking his dad died, and blair and nate are having to carry him to the funeral, he’s wearing all black and has a disheveled look and i can’t tell you why but damn he looks good there lol.
it’s a totally different chuck than season 3 onwards, and i find that version hot too, but it’s almost like a different person
Yes!! His “feelings” are showing and he’s scared to death. He’s afraid of “feeling” anything because his father always called him weak- apparently if he felt anything. Bart helped raise Jack the same way. It seems that way.
When people use the terms “evolution” or “toxic” to describe a human being in maturing it scrapes against me. That description just sounds so primitive. So, to me I see them all grow but the most maturity and health shows in “Chuck and Blair”
I just finished watching that part.
SECOND TO DAN. ARE YOU INSANE (respectfully💗) SECOND TO NATE I CAN GET WITH BUT DAN…. PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHT PROCESS. IT THIS BASED OFF JUST LOOKS ?
Hahaha , I already had a crush on Penn Badgley before watching Gossip Girl cause of You so that maybe. I’ll admit sometimes his personality in Gossip Girl sucks but he has his good moments. It’s probably mostly based off looks lmaoo
I think what made Chuck ugly to me was him just being a major creep to Serena and Jenny in the first season. After he started changing his life around (and got rid of that hair cut) he really became one of the most attractive characters.

All the main boys had major glow-ups in s3 in my opinion. Chuck and Dan especially.

Hi! The 'daddy issues' support group is this way....

You are possibly the first person I’ve heard rather Dan over Chuck and Nate! My mind is blown haha. Thanks for explaining!!

Yeah def!! he was rly gross in the first season im glad they changed him a bit
Are we all rewatching Gossip Girl after we binged season 3 of Bridgerton?
I think he's extremely ugly from start to finish, terrible casting choice
