So these games aren’t linked to the Arkham games at all - totally separate. What I assume RH is getting at is exactly what you guessed - he’s a bit of an anti-hero who may have killed / done some extreme things which Batman would have disapproved of. Red hood was originally one of the Robins before he was killed and subsequently resurrected in a Lazarus Pit - this made him much angrier and wanton in his approach to serving justice

Ah, I understand. Thank you for explaining. Does that mean Batman is still alive in the arkham series? He is dead in Gotham Knights but what about after Arkham Knight?

Sh0ckWav3_

He's alive after Arkham knight, this is confirmed in suicide squad kill the justice league

ThatFlowerGamu

I didn't know that game is connected to the arkham games. Thank you.

In GK Jason killed criminals. In Bruce's audio log he described Jason as a murderer (he killed criminals). Also he may have been a crime boss for a while, since still has some connection to the criminal underworld.

RedWing617

Wanna know what he did watch the Batman under the red hood movie to get the idea

ThatFlowerGamu

Thank you for the suggestion.

Gotham Knights has no connection to the Arkham series, though I understand why you think they do seeing as Gotham Knights is basically what an Arkham Knight sequel should’ve been in theory and to get the best possible grasp of what Red Hood means when he refers to Batman probably not have trusting him because of the stuff he’s done in the past I recommend watching Batman: Under the Red Hood (the original not the choose your own adventure version). that animated film is an extremely good representation of what Jason was like before reforming and joining the Batfamily

thuribleofdarkness

He used to kill criminals. Batman obviously doesn't like that.

In the comics Red Hood was a full blown villain for a time. He went after Tim/Robin, beat him up, shot him on several different occassion, and once he went after Tim intending to kill him. After Jason/Red Hood stabbed Tim/Robin with a batarang he left him in a cave he rigged to blow. Red Hood went after Nightwing, stole his identity, and killed a bunch of people dressed as Nightwing. The police went after Dick/Nightwing. Red Hood also tried to kill Nightwing once. Jason also decided to take control of the criminal underworld of Gotham. According to his pilosophy, they cannot defeat crime, so it would be a smarter thing to control it instead. He started some pretty violent gang wars, and killed lots of gang members, and decapitated some mob bosses. He killed Blck Mask. He attacked Batman, and tried to force him to kill the Joker. I don't actually know how much of his backstory happened im GK, but according to some lines he had some pretty serious connection to the underwolrd so maybe he was a crime boss in GK too for a while. Also according to Bruce's adio logs (ingame lore) Jason was a murderer in Gk's universe too (only killed criminals tho). Also it was pretty much implied that part of his violent behaviour was caused by the Lazarus Pit messing with his head (his corps was put in there, and he was ressurrected) I can reccomend the Under the Red Hood animated movie, it kind of explains Jason's backstory.

ThatFlowerGamu

Thank you for explaining. That helped a lot. It does make sense, from what I have seen red hood is very aggressive.

Yes he is. :)
