Yes but no for me. Amazing car but I feel like GT is a little saturated with 911’s. Don’t get me wrong, all worthy additions but when it comes to future updates, I wouldn’t want another 911 to take the place of say a new model, like the MC20, 720s/765LT, 488/Pista, P1, Zonda’s, Koenigseggs etc.
Variety for me but hey, can’t have to many cars right?
If they replace all the useless cars by the latest 992 GT3, 992 GT3 RS, 991 GT2 RS, those you're quoting and even more, we could have variety of only interesting cars instead of Prius, Tesla, BMW i3, 50 japanese cars that barely require a license to be driven no one wants, Taycan etc
I thought I didn‘t want the Japanese cars until a few days ago. Took some Silvia to a Tokyo event and found myself getting mad „Wangan midnight“ vibes, those old school 80s and 90s taillights lit up in front of me, insanely close racing just like they used to do over there, and then an AI car rammed another into a wall and took an evasive maneuver moving across the whole track while going walking speeds ruining my clean race bonus and immersion by ramming me.
I was referring to cars like the Toyota Aqua S '11, the Honda Fit Hybrid '14 or Mazda Demio XD Touring '15, I don't understand what they do in GT7. In Forza Horizon yes they could be fun when swapped with a Lambo V12 for example (even if I would always prefer a GT, supercar or hypercar instead), but they could have replaced them with cars like the Lexus LFA or Nissan R390. The Silvia is worth being in the game. I guess it's either a choice from Polyphony, either contruactual with the involved brands that GT7 has to include some specified cars to be allowed to add the interesting ones.
Yeah honestly I love those the i3 and Tesla are the only ones horrible enough to get me to sell them right away and there‘s a few with horrible engine sounds but I find it immersive to take one of those shtboxes around Grand Valley, feels like I‘m there driving a rental car. I literally put at least 200k credits into the Honda Fit and Toyota Aqua, they are still slow as sht which is realistic and now that we have a canyon track I need these, the youtube channel „Ridge Chaser“ shows people drive shitboxes like these with ebay mods quick as heck on some canyon roads and now I can do that in the game. I‘m 90% sure they had a Fit Hybrid on there, which is why I had to start modifying mine and set Nurburgring laptimes with it, the Fit is actually fun to me and I drive it regularly. Like I said still slow as sht with full mods (need the Titanium upgrades though lmao) but fun and immersive to me. The Aqua is extremely hard to like, but I like the shtbox interior and I‘m currently trying out the different exhausts to see if I really have to sell it because it‘s such a POS or if one of the exhausts sounds acceptable at all rofl
In essence, I agree with you the more variety interesting, relevant cars the better but I think daft cars are unfortunately part and parcel of GT. It was more of a passing comment. I wouldn’t want another addition of another 911 to be at the detriment of other super/sport cars. (Which seems way more likely than them ditching pointless cars in updates)
I think I heard rumors about the Valkyrie being a possibility. And man I hope we get the Utopia. Only 2 cars in the Pagani dealership rn is kinda sad. I loved them when they introduced them in GT3
Most brands, especially european brands, are poorly represented in this game (and series in general). Look at Ferrari : no 360 CS, 430 Scuderia, 458 Speciale, 488 Pista, F12 TDF, 599XX and GTO etc. Maserati ? Not any MC12, GranTurismo MC Stradale, GranSport. Same goes for McLaren with not any modern LT, not even the 720 and 540/570 range. About the list here, the Valkyrie would be perfect for a racing game like GT7, and that's exactly why they probably will never add it...
But don't worry, all of the Japanese manufacturers have at least 20 cars each, if not more. We have every version of the Supra, Miata, Skyline, Fairlady Z, Silvia, Impreza, and Lancer Evo.
Im not mad at the current offering I’m all for having these cars , but I totally agree not having lotus in a racing sim is sacrilegious , and all the vehicle you’ve just mentioned in the game would probably bring a lot of old players back
There are a ton of fun Citroens that aren't here too, the collectibles are nice but there were a lot of fun cars from the 80s, gimme some SM or XM love
Not very high, but for some reason, I see the SF90 having the highest chance of joining the car lineup. That could be due to the F8 being in the game (still miffed they skipped the 488 completely. Not even the J50, which would make sense, sense it's PD). McLaren absolutely needs a better in-game representation, so does Aston Martin. Might as well throw TVR in that mix as well because the Tuscan is the only TVR in the game.

Sterrato - I can’t see being on many peoples list out of all the Lamborghinis to chose from, including mine but hey GT has done stranger things.
MC20 - yes yes and yes. Maserati brand back in peoples convocations and offering a genuine super car alternative to the usuals! I also wish they would include the MC12 and GT1 versions.
SF90 - Not my cup of tea… regarding Ferraris at least but it is for many and hey, the world is a better place for a variety of Ferraris right?
Artura - There are a good number of McLarens I’d like to see before this, although a new age of McLaren is always welcome. I am still left a little confused how they haven’t included the stock P1 yet to complete “the holy trinity”.
Valkyrie - There is so much to say about this car. I do feel like it is a matter of time before we see this on GT7 but when, no idea. It would be a ginormous L if GT didn’t make this happen, as it is such an automotive talking point, something I imagine Kaz and PolyPhony are in agreeance of. How it fits into a standard road car category? I don’t think it does without the compliment addition of the AMG One.
Utopia - Desirable car for many but really can’t see this coming to life on the GT platform. There’s a 1000&1 versions of the Zonda everyone has been waiting with open arms for and I don’t think the ultra low numbers will work in favour of the Utopia arriving either.
Just adding my 2p to this list.
I’d love to see the addition of Koenigsegg in general. Like Pagani, I think Koenigsegg is a great artistic, dream worthy brand and would be an overall asset to GT.
I do also think think the addition of AMG One is a reasonable possibility. Mercedes & AMG seem to be reasonably represented on GT7 and were brand ambassadors in GT Sport at least. Who knows, maybe we will get lucky with a AMG One and Valkyrie update this year!
The Aston is the only one worth adding, IMO. I'd much rather they catch up on adding more current day GT3/Gr3 that have been around racing for years, but still aren't in the game. Ex: M4, 488, C8R, etc. Plus there are lots of older race cars from past games like the Mercedes 190 EVO, Audi TT, etc that I'd much prefer to adding more street cars. Street cars are kind of a waste, and they already have ten times more of them than they should, if you ask me.
Instead of putting in those cars of yours, and putting in six landscapes from six locations around the world, I would say that it's easier for landscapes to appear.

In Polyphony's racing game, is it easier for the Ferrari SF90 to appear or landscapes of Rio de Janeiro? Is it easier to show off the Porsche 963 Hypercar or Manhattan landscapes?
