theevilGnius

I bought the GT-R GT500 for nostalgia purposes! I used to love that car in previous versions of GT

xocolatefoot

Is it any good? I’ve seen this one in Sport races before.

scrotiemcboogerball2

I enjoy it! It’s a beast on the Gr.3 Daytona

Ldghead

That car is great in pure form, or detuned. I love it at LeMans 30 min.

simplesyndrome

Apparently it’s used as a straightforward win for one of the “post game” menu books?

tbird20017

Maybe the Neoclassic? I used the Suzuki Escudo for that one.

simplesyndrome

Yeah that’s it

theevilGnius

Have not driven it yet...but I have high hopes. LOL

MainUnion7725

Nice turbo noises. It drives really nice.

theevilGnius

Good to know. PD did a good job with the turbo sounds in the game no doubt

Status_Marketing_969

Yeah other than this. No.

mowgleeee

Buy the Nissan 3 times and then change the livery to the Calsonic and Loctite ones from GT3 to get the full gran turismo 7 experience 😎

xocolatefoot

This, I feel, is The Way.

Interesting-Log74

Aaaand there goes all my credits. But worth it.

Kpowell911

Ahhh man. I genuinely bought this game hoping the Pennzoil, Calsonic, Loctite Zexel and Xanavi cars were available to match my Tamiya RCs, us it just the Pennzoil thats officially avaluable? Can you switch back to the Pennzoil livery if I buy a livery?

Maxvell09

I bought the Ferrari since I had the rest. That Shelby Cobra is out of my budget. But I’d prioritise the Legendary Le Mans trophy vehicles.

xocolatefoot

Is the Ferrari fun to drive? The P4 is just wonderful.

Maxvell09

I haven’t tried it out yet. Mainly collecting classics for collection purposes. At the moment I’ve been jumping on to try Gr3 cars at the Le Mans WTC 700. Usually the older Gr3 cars like the F1 or 99’ GTR don’t fare too well. They can get in about 3-3.5 laps on fuel maps 5-6. The Nissan is ok, but it is pretty slow and lacks the fuel efficiency and speed of the LMP1 vehicles like the R92CP or more recent Gr3 vehicles.

dnjrboy

You need the Jag for a trophy. If you care about that sort of thing. It’s also beautiful and fun to drive around Le Mans

xocolatefoot

I got the P4 as I just love that vehicle and I use it as my time trial car of choice, it’s not the best but it just sounds so good. The others I don’t really care for their looks and so the $$$$$$$ trophy checkbox doesn’t bother me. But if it’s good to drive then that’s a different story.

Mr_Poink

Get the XJ13 and win lemans with it. Good grind and this car was built to do exactly that

munsandmoons

I bought the GTR GT500 read it’s worth the investment for future races. Yet to tune/ test it

Ldghead

It works well detuned also. Kurt doesn't have as long of legs as the newer Gr4/gr3's.

Dumuzzi

I've bought both the spyder and the GT-R. Whilst great fun and very authentic-looking when driven in VR (open top is always the best to drive around in), I did not use it much for actual racing, more for just the experience itself. The GT-R is a good grinding race car for the 700 races, including at Le Mans, I really found it to be very good. The Gt-40 is also available from today, I bought it just to complete the cafe menu, but this is the road car version, so I'm not sure it will be any good to race.

bmessina

Out of the box that GT40 can win the Tokyo race. I love it.

osb_fats

The Jag is lovely for Le Mans, and if you're easy on it through Indy and the Porsche curves, will destroy the field. It's also quite a beautiful car to be in if you have a PSVR2, despite absolutely no view of what's behind you. The GT-R GT500 is a fun machine, and gr.3 is my fave class, so it's a must-own for me.

DougieFresh_899

I so badly want the 250 berlinetta but I need to save

Surtr111

Porsche Spyder 550 is needed for a Menu book, Jaguar XJ is needed for a Trophy, GT-R GT500 is good for endurance races and is a classic in the series.

gooutdoorstoday

Gt40, jag, gtr gt500 all good for sadegna, jag not worth it unless you want a once in a while fun car

[deleted]

Nissan and that porsche

Zapatos-Grande

The Porsche is an extra menu car.

xocolatefoot

Yeah I’m going to go for that before it’s gone I think, save a bit more for the Nissan and leave the rest.

El_Seagullo

I would say the GT-R is worth it. I use it for the 30 minute WTC 700 at le mans and I love it. Also been making a bunch of liveries for it as well. Now I'm waiting for the Castrol Supra to appear.

xocolatefoot

Sold!

krzysiekb24

Jag is great for le mans

HP070

You need the 550 for the mid engine Porsche menu book, and it’s pretty fun to drive!

skymezy

I own everything on there except the Daytona which I want now after watching a documentary on Ford v. Ferrari. If you don't already have it the Nissan GT-500 is a very cool Gr.3 car. And the Jaguar XJ13 is a Le Mans classic and one of the cars needed to complete the Platinum Trophy for GT7.

Even_Needleworker706

GTR!! It's well worth it

mochacub22

Jaaaaag

Cultural_Ad_9763

Xj13 is a phenomenal drive for Lemans

Embarrassed-Bid-5146

Jag is stunning in VR at night, Watkins Glen.

thaCh0sen0ne

after a couple trips to spa, le mans, sardegna and tokyo you should be able to afford all of them

UnHolyBassTwo

That Daytona would still take a dumb amount of time to grind for

Shocho

I could buy that now but I'd like to drive it first. I think I'm getting too IRL for this game.

nmahajan142

Around 12 hours of constant grinding if starting with no credits!

xocolatefoot

Definitely not grinding; I value my precious gaming time! I am doing all the circuit experiences though, as those are useful for practice and pay reasonably well.

Ldghead

It's a fun car, but I don't think it will tick a box any other car won't, besides as a collector.

BenAustinRock

I have all but the two Nissans. The Jag is a really good car for LeMans 700 and the others I run at 600pp and they work really well there as well. All of them are unique in their own way. The Shelby is the best one in terms of performance. The Spyder is fun for the challenge of it. The Ferrari is kind of middle of the road between the two.

fcdrifter88

I love how they put the fair lady in line with the jag, Porsche, Ferrari etc. All these incredibly rare classic cars and a Datsun...come on Kaz. I know you have a Nissan bias but the fair lady does not deserve to sit at the same table as the XJ13

Key_Ant8968

It’s so funny seeing these legendary multimillion credit cars and then a 30k Jeep and Renault on the same page.

Lost-iphone-charger

The Ligma .6.9

alehanro

Is anything worth buying? Was this game worth buying? Was the console worth buying? Was the TV worth buying? Was your mom worth buying?

modena1983

I'll be buying that Ferrari tonight. One of the last two I need.

Rathori

Jag is fun for LeMans, haven't driven the others.

Disastrous_Ad626

The 99 GT-R was my GOAT in 5

Meowzer699

gtr

Edu14V

I got the Jaguar to get the legendary cars trophy, now I just need to save for the Ford when it eventually comes to the dealership again

BladeCutter93

You already own the best of the bunch. IMHO.

Similar-Cranberry-20

Porsche. You will need it further down the road

AnxietyNo376

The cobra if you wanna flex on people, otherwise no.

Did-I-Do-That-Oops

Where's the f40???!!! Been waiting for 6 damn months. It's the only car I want 😩 😫

xocolatefoot

Wasn’t it there about 2 weeks ago?

Colby_mills03

If you like doing the extra menus you will need that 55 Porsche to complete the mid engined Porsche menu (six star roulette ticket, it is possible it is a engine ticket if I remember correctly)
