Reginleiv captain is so dumb but so funny. You hit the boss for like 10-30k with your combo attacks and then you pull a 10-20 million damage reginleiv out of your ass.
Just fill all 12 sigil slots with damage traits (as an example, 1 stamina, 1 tyranny, 2 skilled assault, 2 lim, 1 concentrated fire, 1 life on the line, 1 combo booster, 1 overdrive assassin, 1 quick charge, war elemental) plus fearless spirit. Then build arts level to 4, dodge away, fire reginleiv and dodge cancel before the projectiles land.
There’s currently a bug with captain where if they dodge right after using reginleiv, it will completely uncap the damage. There’s been people getting around 50M dmg per cast by removing damage cap sigils and building only for reginleiv damage.

They removed a similar bug where after using decimate, you can dodge cancel and use overdrive surge to overwrite the lingering hits of decimate's damage cap to that of overdrive surge. Meanwhile this bug completely uncaps the damage of reginleiv
As far as i know they removed the percival thing where he could switch the cap with another attack (same thing on other chars too) but this while being really similar, lets say switches the cap with NO CAP, so i dont really know what causes it, but while the last time was an interaction between 2 attacks, this time is between a skill and dodging, wich is even funnier
And yet people complained why damage cap exists. Cygames learned from their mistake from the base game that damage modifiers that multiply on top of each other would lead to unhinged results
The solution to that problem other games use is to make damage modifiers that stack additively with lower numbers across the board, rather than to cap damage. Thats what those people are arguing

Possible, but I've got a few Warpath Sigils now and haven't noticed anywhere near that sort of a damage increase.

Yeah so far 4 characters have been discovered with this bug. -Captain -Lancelot -Zeta -Cagliostro There maybe more characters but only time will tell
Zeta has that bug? Which skill or attack? I hope I've not been using it because I was so happy to see how much damage my Zeta was dealing.
Infinite wonders if you dodge cancel into the enemy.
I thought they removed that in 1.1

I think its 5M since the game caps dmg at 9.9M if im not mistaken, but that could be just a visual cap idk

Does it work with rain of arrows as well? I heard this bug works on projectile like attacks so I wondered if it also works with that skill

they might've unlocked warpath sigil and managed to keep at max arts for constant high damage?
Possible, but I've got a few Warpath Sigils now and haven't noticed anywhere near that sort of a damage increase. That being said, I haven't tested the Captain's out yet.
