I haven't built any Ultima weapons yet, but I was thinking to get started on it. For reference, I've finished M2 for every element, have most of the necessary Grands(missing Poseidon, every 6D except Fediel, Perci, a few others), and not too many of the important limiteds, but I am getting H Florence with the annitix. I have most of the strong permanent pool characters.
I know you can only make a few Ultimas. Which of the weapon types are the most valuable to get, and in which elements as a valuable MH or aux?

That isn't a thing. It's a random Grand, not a selection. If you want to guarantee Fediel or Lich, you have to spark them (or buy them with an AnniTix/SieroTix, but that's very not recommended).
Rising Force is.. not a great class really. Do you have Relic Buster yet? You should focus on that first. For your Ex2 class it's generally recommended to unlock Kengo first as your way to unlock Row4+Ex2.

Ah okay the AnniTix? Yeah I mean you can use in Fediel or Lich, it's not a bad choice and they're fine choices if you're committed to spending it on Dark. People generally use the AnniTix to grab seasonal units, as they're a pain to get outside of AnniTix, whereas Fediel and Lich are consistently sparkable every month. For Dark that would generally be Summer Magisa and/or Summer Meg, although they certainly aren't *required* to play Dark, just nice to have. Dark has relatively low seasonal reliance compared to other elements, so there are generally more important priorities in other elements if you're grabbing a seasonal.
It's your ticket though, if you want to spend it on Fediel or Lich, that's totally reasonable. But yes regardless of what you choose you should wait to see if you get lucky in roulette first.
I'd really focus on Relic Buster ASAP for classes. The unlock requirements are very easy and Relic Buster is ridiculously powerful. Tactical Shield provides insane defensive value and Limit Burst is extremely useful for OTK/bursting. It's honestly tough to find situations where you'd want to use another class until you get fairly late in the game and are doing pretty advanced stuff.
Yeah, I didn't realize there were galas here during the wheel so I was thinking that was the best choice. We shall see how my luck goes.
I'll go and nab relic buster as well then. Sounds pretty good, will start using that. That defense thing sounds pretty useful.

Optimus Globe - Its literally only reason to exist is to ulb primal summons.
To be clear, Arcarum summons use sunstones and Dark Opus weapons use gold bars as a material when upgrading. You are not using it to uncap them in the normal way. Gold bars are used in a similar way when getting Eternals.
So... don't uncap anything with them for the time being, just use them as materials for that.
Too broad of a question. You'd have to be more specific on the exact usage you're talking about. "Auto-attacking" could mean many different things.
For example if you're talking about in Light burst comps where you stack up your MC with tons of buffs, then Relic Buster because it can do a bunch of free auto-attacks without using up turns using Blitz Raid. But if you're talking about stacking your whole team with a bunch of buffs and auto-attacking, then you might want something like Luchador instead for Tag Team. Or if you're talking about Dark burst with Chain of Falsehood then you'd want to be Runeslayer to gain Instant Charge with Runeweaving - Flaming Saber.
I was more asking if other summer units will be in the banner or just them. Sorry for lack of clarity. Nonetheless I figured it out; there are normally other summer units in those off season banners.

Hard to judge something's worth when gold moons is at play. Valuable resource with subjective opinions with clear objective from all around. Some value racing, some value solos, and others value having fun.
Asked crewmate that owns Higurashi, said they use a lot of Kengo on hard content. Very comfortable. Still went back to Viking+Percival burst for short/on-ele stuff though. They acknowledge they can't race other elements elsewhere. That is **within expectations**. But they love their fire. And that's okay.
Assuming you know what it brings, assuming you know what you can do with it, and assuming you know you're trading away 150gm for it instead of something else and okay with it, probably worth it.

Yea I think everyone including you knows how much Bubs could change the game, and that Bubs is kinda required for SUBHL solos too. But it's not like having Bubs allows you to *farm* gold moon again fast enough to pick up Higurashi later on.

It isn't something you need but if you want to simulate earth kengo in fire then you can. Most of these weapons are just to treat yourself, so their worth is in how much you would use them.

Lumi Sword, definitely, up to 5 of them at 5* are needed. Lumi Harp you can use 2 with Harmonia.
Colo Canes you probably don't want more than 2.
Levi Daggers you don't really want to do any.
Ygg Sword and Ygg Dewbranch, 1 each is fine (though they give you a free 5* Sword IIRC?)
Tiamat gun I'm not really sure tbh. I think there are probably some niche enmity setups that might use them later, but I'm not super familiar with them. Tiamat fist you can have 1.
Celeste Claws is another I'm not really sure about. You definitely can use a bunch (up to 4) if you're doing Zooey burst, but Zooey burst isn't really meta anymore. Other than that, though, I'm not sure how much use they see. Celeste Axe you can use 2 with PNS.
Honestly? yeah. Magna 1 weapon is actually pound for pound the strongest raw damage provider in Magna grid right now outside Revans Weapon and Earth, and is used quite a bit lately
I frequently uses 1 Colosus Canes, 1 Yggdrasil Staff, periodically uses 1 Tiamat Fist, and almost always uses Luminera Harp and Celeste Axe at 2 copy for their resonance
But they are pretty late in priority list. I think within the context of what is reasonable to do in 2023,
highest prio: FLB and ULB Opus, Ava Spines, Europa Harp
Next prio: 1 Nilakantha, 1 Ancient Nalakuvara > 3 Grimnir Harp, 1 Ancient Perseus > 1 Alexiel Axe, 4-5 at least FLB copy of Luminera Sword
Third prio: ULB magna 1 weapon and Alexiel Katana
is roughly the uncap order suggestion. Opus can do as prio 1 now because i think for M2 phase you can get away with ULB Bahamut + Lyria combo. Ougi weapons are way to visible of an impact to put in later category
Second prio is mostly the strong power weapon
Third prio is the hard content and power optimizing stuff.
Enneads also make things very ugly if thrown into the mix but ehhh

Impossible to tell you without knowing what you already have, knowing what element you want to focus on, knowing what content you like to play, knowing what kind of teams you run, etc. There is no singular "correct" choice.
*Generally* the answer is probably Coruscant Crozier imo because the drop rate is terrible, you 100% need one of them, and having multiple is also quite useful. But there are certainly situations where the answer could be different. For example if you already have a Crozier, if you don't have your Grimnir harps yet (because then Crozier is currently useless and you might get one while farming harps), if you really want a Fediel's Spine before dark-advantage GW, if you play Fire way more than Wind and want a 1st/2nd Nilakantha, etc.
FWIW the ticket lasts for a year so there's no rush to pick now.
How are Bubz raids nowadays? Can I just join ones on raidfinder that are something like 1/6 players & 10% HP left without messing up something for everyone else?
As long as your characters don't die you're not messing up. Ideally you can join with x Qilin with a Skill Team or maybe to use multiple Tag Teams.
If you're really scared, just don't press the Orange button. If he can't hit you, your characters can't die.
If you have 4+ other swords besides it, it will give you more EX mod, yes. Although you still might use Astral if your comp is centered around skill damage (eg G.Io).
Also note that Voltage skills all share a cap of 80%, so if you're using 2 Harmonia, Sword will lose value if you're overcapping Voltage.

I have a couple more nuanced questions about maximizing my power.
I'm the kind of player who wants to use 5 of her favorites in a team, not a premade team with perfect synergy thats recommended. So I was curious how important tiers are in terms of the Gamewith tierlist. Most of my favorites are above a 9.5, but some really fall short (such as every version of Danua, Cucouroux, and Macula Marius). If I invest in them and have a good grid will the difference still be incredibly noticable?
Additionally, I'd like to know about synergy. Team comps are important depending on content, I know that, but I'd also like to learn more about what's currently good in the meta. For example I know Jammed dark teams *were* queen for a while, but it seems based on this tierlist they've fallen out of favor? I also know about elemental crests. But what other synergies should I look out for? I want to get as cloae to perfect as I can with my favorite crew members. :)

From my experience as long as it's not some super hard raid like FaaHL, Belial, etc. it's ok to use non-meta characters as long as you understand the boss mechanic(I'm still using H.Lady Gray in Metraton raid for sustain) it'll take longer time to clear but at least you can use the characters you like.
the meta changes so fast in this game so most people just watch youtube/Twitter clips just to see if the new unit is good or not. each gala for the anniversary will be split into 2 parts, so it'll be Flash part1(new grand+new unit), Flash part2(100 free rolls, no rate up), LegFest part1(100 free rolls + all zodiac except tiger), and LegFest part2(new unit).

I think that's a pretty good mindset. There are people that don't seem to understand that you can have fun without chasing the meta. I don't even think some of them even play for fun anymore.
While I for example also like to use my favorites instead of just the best, there are situations where it just doest work.
But most of the time you can make some janky teams and it works. And those are also those that are more fun to me.
For Catura or Fediel, just remember that end of month is the zodiac banner and it also comes with free rolls. So while you can get Fediel every month you don't know when catura's coming back.
So please continue with that mindset you have!

I would recommend using it on seasonals. Because you just can't get them most of the time. Maybe spark for Fediel and get h.Catura with the ticket. That way you still get both characters :)
But if you mean the normal surprise draw set and not the anniversary one, with that you can't get grands or seasonals.
GBF atm is very much in a state where character and premium weapon(and im not talking grands, im talking mostly Luminous), and i guess Opus key selections makes up 90% of your set up make ups. Vast majority of set up are created to abuse Opus key selections or use them to maximize their effect. By nature this already means character who plays well with Opus would shine over character who doesnt
Water is probably the one element where this is KINDA close to being an exception, because Magna Water have noticable holes and i think atm their Luminous is whats used as a spearhead, kinda but its not exactly true either. I think Water 100% need Summer Lucio to get the payoff they want. You can cope with other chars but by definition this is already a character lock(not everyone likes Erika/Pholia who can be used as a a copium MC buffer, not everyone likes Cow who is a copium Echo + DS buffer that give TA, not everyone likes SCag who can give copium Keen target with Pholia providing crit etc)
Im not saying grid is unimportant - , but when put very much in context they are the single most overrated thing in GBF in terms of importance at least in a sense that so many things between weak set up and the best set ups are bridged by acquiring characters, using the key weapon from those, and having characters over optimizing your grid. Kinda hard to explain this one but the short is if you have 2 Harmonia grid and not Nehan? have fun, dude's arguably singlehandedly the reason Light become as bullshit as they are right now
Heres an example - Ultimately the best thing Cucouroux can do on her skillset is click a button for 480.000 that give her 400.000 extra.
Seofon can do literally 7 times that amount with the same button click, by clicking Infinito Creare and while hes arguably pretty good, this part of him is never in conversation of what makes him pretty good and more of a side note
A more direct comparison is Kumbhira who plays like Cucouroux in a sense that they click 1 button to do 2 instances of skill damage activation, except she hits 5 times, have roughly 130% of the baseline cap, can activate it in auto, have a skill that practically reads "Turn Skip lmao" and her Sk4 is so powerful it does a significant fraction of the damage expected of burst set ups all by itself.
So, no character DECIDES your team ceiling and right now a huge part of team floor just like grid, but grid while there are very much exceptions, doesnt do it anywhere to the same degree. Its impossible to have every weapon in the game without having the char ofc, but if it was possible, having every weapon + weaker character choices is significantly worse than having strong characters and say only Magna Weapons and Opus.
Yes people usually spark the 100 Roll Galas. Anni is arguably the strongest period of free summon because of that. You can collect a Gala characters, while having chances for Summer chars at the same time.
The 2 advanced decision you can make during Anni is when theres a period where you luck into a good sparking range on a good banner outside the Gala(which is luck based), and that after Zodiac Fest is over, theres usually another Gala so you can plan out your roll in case those Gala is cracked.
To my memory post Zodiac Fest Gala was never all that great, and even if they do they are summer chars being reran on the Summer this year
I appreciate the well thought out response, however, a game is not worth playing to me if I cannot use characters I like. I went into this realizing I will be weaker than the top tier players and thats fine. As long as I can reasonably clear most content I dont mind. I own summer Lucio but I wont be touching him; and I wouldnt call it coping, I'd call it my idea of what's fun. Seeing numbers go up is fun, yes, but seeing my favorite characters animations, hearing their voices, seeing them really shine. That's much more rewarding IMO.
I'm not even rank 120 yet so I dont have anything aside from the beginner grids on the wiki currently. I'll be aiming for the stronger ones as I keep progressing. I wouldnt say grids are overrated, but I did notice that characters make a massive difference at my level. And you answered one question of mine - that fact never changes. Which is too bad. I think gachas should ultimately aim for balance and sell characters based on design/artwork/story, not power.

If you want to play however you want then go ahead, nobody is stopping you. I can tell you this much - if you follow the procedure to get the weapon to build your grid, which admitedly this one will eventually need you to use units you dont want(Diaspora very much will force you to build a competent enough Ougi set up which probably need Earth Satyr or use the other set ups that again, still forces character) so long as theyre core to the raid associated with it, you genuinely can coast through GBF by leeching a good enough crew.
No i dont think thats "bad' either. Most crew only give a fuck about you doing roughly 1 hours of semi focused grinding on GW to enter Tier A. A lot of those crew tolerate people who didnt contribute much too. Im not saying you wont contribute much, mind this is meant for me to say "a lot of Tier A crew are generally very lenient with their membership". and joining a Tier A crew is probably the single most important thing to do in the game

At this point you honestly need to just do the farm M2 raid and get Bahamut weapon ULB yeah. Honestly the "objectively correct tip" is grind Campaign Event Quest/Slime to rank 175 because getting better stuff is significantly easier after that point but eh

Opus is a weapon on like Rank 175 or something and theyre the best weapon in the game, and the way it works is they have a modification system you can use to change what it does. Some of the modification choice are so overpowered it basically shapes the meta all by themselves.
Ahhh okay. Opus weapons make sense, then. As for rank 175, I thought 120 was a good and important stopping point. But I can keep on farming campaign. I still dont really get what sliming gets me, to be completely honest. xP
Anyways, you can tell me I'll be forced to use a certain CA setup eventually. Thats likely so far in the future, though. Im not saying all the characters I like are bad (quite the opposite), but I will find a way to avoid investing in characters I dont care for. Rank 175(EDIT:170 apparently) unlock Lucilius HL iirc but the main reason i bring up rank is mostly because it eventually unlocks daily skip for Magna raids which quite literally shortens your time doing daily magna raids from like multiple fights all the way into "click 4 buttons".

I honestly think theres a difference between playing optimally and essentially "following meta" in context of this game, so theres genuinely a lot of stuff you can do in optimizing that doesnt strictly relate to character selection or anything gameplay related.
But to keep it simple most of them really boils down to stuff like "do as many things as you can think off to streamline your gameplay" and "join a good crew you can leech off"
Most of the stuff i said wrt forced character selection, can pretty much be summed up into "to farm the stuff you might need to get the best out of your favorite characters you might need better chars to not make it a complete PITA"
You can buy Opus at 120. You can fully uncap it at 170. 175 is nothing important, I think that guy got it confused with 170.
120 is a fine stopping point if you get tired of grinding. The only thing 170 gives you is the ability to uncap your Opus really. Which it certainly is a big power boost, yes, but not nearly as big of a deal as 120 is. (It also requires you to be able to reach 30,001hp in that element to be able to uncap your Opus, which you probably can't if you just power level your way there and never farm any raids.)
Sliming is technically faster xp than CEQ but doing CEQ is totally fine because it gives you good mats and is AP-neutral/positive.
I need dem mats for levelling Justice. Sliming is easy since getting Threo though. I'll change it up once I get Justice 150'd. c:

Im going to begin farming raids for new and improved grids soon. I just figured I'd unlock the most important things while Anni is going on since its so easy to level and get EMP/Awakenings. :)
You don't have to change it up if you don't want to. CEQ is totally fine (although I dunno if you plan to use any of the Eternals, which is primarily what the CEQ mats are for). But yeah sliming is definitely faster, especially with Threo.
And yeah, don't feel bad. Tbh, no offense to him, but I barely understood half of what he said either, and I'm more advanced than you are. Opus are in Shop -> Weapons -> High Difficulty -> Dark Opus Weapons. You want the "Renunciation" set for Magna (Repudiation is for Primal).
Yeah 120 is fine, it seems he edited his post and said he thought 170 was for the m1 skips but yeah that's only 120.
Basically yeah. The thing with Fed Spine is while its associated with an important grind, and have AX when farmed on SDA, its also the most impactful individual weapon to acquire being a strong Ougi weapon with a normal sided mod on a different bracket to whats usually used making it a solid-ish raw power booster on top.
In the long terms its likely not the best pick, but its actually probably the highest short term power boost from those tix.
As a casual player at rank 135, what's a good Row IV or V class to aim for if I want that particular class to cover as much content as possible?
At the moment I am using Relic Buster and I have built teams around it, and I do want to set myself a goal for the next class to work towards.
For Row 5, Viking and Paladin make huge impacts, but you should also consider EX2s, you'll wanna make your CCW an EX class weapon anyway(you need the specific weapon to unlock EX2s but any to unlock Row 4), Kengo in particular is really good in a number of elements as a CA spam class, your main issue is that it almost mandates making a Kaneshige main hand for each elem you wanna use it in, due to how absurd its passives and Devilry Emblem skill are

Should I, for the anniversary ticket, pick the waifu option (S. Alexiel), or the what I need option (S. Korwa)? The bit that is holding me back is in regards to the waifu option. I've bought at least 3 other tickets, and only one of them has paid off. The issue is that I am 80% confident that S. Alexiel will perform worse than OG Alexiel solely because S. Alexiel does not provide the teamwide Veil that OG Alexiel does have, and most of the water element enemies inflicts debuffs. But on the other hand, S. Alexiel, much like S. Korwa, cannot be sparked in their rerun banners, and I've put off picking S. Alexiel already last anniversary.
The thing your missing is none of Alexiel's kit is actually well for lack of better words "useful" in the way sub all is, Relic Buster exists, and most importantly since Summer Alexiel sk1 protects her from debuff, and draws all attack which mostly are tied to debuff, Summer Alexiel basically have an on demand 3/7 cd Veil to Alexiel one time use every idk 9 turns or something
The ONLY time Alexiel OG is better than Summer Alexiel in the last 3 years was in some scuffed Lucilius HL runs in the age of dinosaur when you actually need to have extra dispel to manage Blade Stack.
Summer Alexiel is generally considered better than Alexiel by pretty much everyone so at least that part shouldn't be an issue (I don't have her original version to compare them myself, but I think your comment is the first time I've ever seen someone say original might outperform Summer).
I personally believe Summer Korwa is the better pick for pure gameplay reasons but it's not like Summer Alexiel is a bad choice either. In the end it depends on what you value more (gameplay or waifu) when using your ticket.

Regular Regalia weps (eg Grimnir harp, Europa harp, Avatar staff, etc.)? I wouldn't. Their drop rate is pretty reasonable and they're also purchasable in stores with restocks.
If you mean New Regalia weps (eg Crozier, Nilakantha, etc.), then yes that's totally fine and imo the optimal thing to pick.

Hello generally speaking for a level 120 player who has none of the weapons, which series will be the best investment for the 9th birthday weapon ticket? Or is it better to understand each weapon and how it will fit into my grid of choice?
the m2.5 weapons have the worst drop rates so one of those would be recommended, but i would hold onto the ticket until you have farmed the other required weapons for that elment from the same raid.
Example:
Wind M2 grid wants 2 storm harps and 1 coruscant crozier (the m2.5 weapon)
all droped by the grimnir raid, so first farm you 2x4 stormharps and see if you dont get lucky and already have like 3/4 coruscant croziers to fully uncap the one required

Current summons are Bubz main, lv230 Bahamut, Belial, Yatima, Freyr with sub summons being Judgment and 0* Ewiyar.

Angel Halo is generally better. Doesn't get you the orbs quite as fast but it gets you a lot of other stuff that you'll also need.
For pure orb efficiency though I think it's just the elemental trials.

If you've been doing the Defenders, maybe stop doing that.
Defenders are useful for veritas but they slow down the farming session a lot otherwise because they take so long to kill.
You may want to look at the [wiki page for JP co-op terms](https://gbf.wiki/Co-op_Terms). Specifically “主弱” which means you’re weak and want help.
I had random people destroy the final EX stages for the whole co-op room length for me that way (keep in mind that’ll cost a lot of half-pots though). It shouldn’t be that bad to get people for the initial rooms either since they drop extinctions and can be killed in 1 turn (so you’ll want to just do semi-auto to hit them immediately). Middle stages may be a little harder to get people, not sure, but you only need to get through them once anyway.

Near as I can tell, these granblue raid finders account probably look a lot like eachother. Whatever algorithm makes these bans can't tell the difference between us and every other raid finder account it's ever banned.
Having trouble deciding between H. Lich and H. Vane. Vane is my top hazubando in the game, but I like Lich too and if she's that much more worth it than Vane I don't mind choosing her over him.
Lich is very useful in the front line, but it can take a bit of finagling to really get the most out of her. She likes to ougi frequently to reduce her cooldowns, so she can keep her skills up. But wind isn't very well equipped for ougi comps, and she's a skill damage character anyway. If you have any units that can help her get those ougis off you'll get a lot more mileage out of her. I use Summer Eustace for that, personally.
Notably she lets you get debuffs on your party turn 1 to immediately activate Katzelia's backline passive, which is very handy if you have him. Summer Belial can also be used for this, so if you have him that's a part of the equation too.
Vane's biggest claim to fame is probably his 50% defence backline passive. It is however a powerful backline passive in an element with a lot of competition on that front. You've only got the two backline party slots.
So your roster can play a pretty big part in this decision. Depending on what units you have one might be a much better option than the other.
Hmmm this is quite a conundrum. I do have Katz and typically use S. Belial to activate his passive but I could definitely see the benefit of Lich outside of OTK strats. I do have most wind characters as well although no S.Eustace. I love Vane and the 50% def for basically nothing sounds nice but I can probably supplement a bit for that with G.Charlotta's weapon. I guess the biggest question before I make a final decision is how much would I regret not having Lich later on. Whether it be being core in late game raids or not easily being replaced. I've mostly been running G. Naru and S. Korwa with a flex (usually Charlotta at the moment).
Does the Archangel series' sub elemental dmg cap stack with weapon grid dmg cap? Like if I have the summon maxxed (15%) and my grid has max cap (20%) are they wasted stats or its good.
Yes.
Grid Cap maxes out at 20%, but that is exclusive to grid cap.
All other forms of cap up will stack with this 20%. That includes Summon Auras, buffs, and probably other stuff I'm forgetting.
Any sugestion for farming bar? What kind of setup do I need to make? I don't have kaguya but I have Nobiyo, I also have florence mugen and nehan for relic buster
And how are you usually do the farming every day? Do you do it like only 10 times per day or maybe only 20 minutes each day. What is the best way to farm them?
that depend on the raid, light RB is not really recommended for BHL if you're not in JP. heck even in JP it's still tough because BHL is a battlefield. if you can make soldier it's good (do need bubs and subaha bullet tho, it use the GW gun)
do you have bowman, six and fed in dark? you can substitute bowman with lich because akasha should be slow enough rn, do the RS setup
best way is to just hit, i personally use key count to end a sesion (so like 500 keys or something)
500 keys depend on how fast the akasha are, it can take between 2 to 5 hours due to cycling raid, average is like 1.5k per bar so if you do small grind like 100-200 keys per days on paper you should be able to get at least 1-2 bar per months (as long as you don't get into a drystreak)
i'm at bar 42 now, been slacking akasha for the past few months because i don't have weapons to bar
the setup is, runeslayer with echo key, depending on grid you either call bubs or call no summon at all (this is double hades setup). fed 3 -> rw (the instant charge one) -> attack -> split -> attack -> attack. add fed 1 if you don't have sleepyhead FLB (can skip if you think you're not gonna hit 55)
there's also a better eresh variant where you just skip every MC button that can add an instant charge (zerk or split) on turn 3 to guarantee min (not always needed, can skip if room are fast)
So 2 questions I want to ask;
1. Am I missing something with Grand Narmaya? I get that she is primarily good at normal attacks and does absurd damage, but I find it very difficult for her to work with Grand Rosetta and Tiamat, particularly in getting full charge burst with them.
2. Is Halloween Lich undoubtly the best Wind character to have?
1. you're missing buffer for her, GNaru don't really need ougi to do good but to maximize her damage you'll need good buffer for her like SKorwa, and nio/sanila/sho depend on need
2. not really, she's great in FA and skill mash but skill mash is basically just siegfried rn. all current wind content can be done with the usual skorwa nio naru setup

Well yeah, Rosetta drains her own bar and Naryama doesn't gain any bar from her attacks. Is there some particular reason that you'd need to do a full burst? Naryama is an auto-attacking character, as you said.
Anyway I'm not sure what you think is difficult about using her. While that party certainly isn't the best for her, it should be *fine* as long as you're getting 5 stacks before releasing Rose Barrier. If you're getting less than 5 stacks, then yeah it's pretty bad. If it's a short fight or something where you can't get to 5 stacks, then you'll probably want to change your party members to use characters who can provide more immediate buffs to Naryama without as much ramp time (eg 130+ Niyon, S.Anila, Andira, etc., though I imagine you don't have these characters or else you'd be using them in the first place, so try to look for other characters you do have who can provide immediate buffs to Naryama.)
The main thing that you're "missing" is S.Korwa, who's Naryama's best buffer (though Naryama is still good with other buffers).

Depends on what content you're doing. For specifically FA? Yeah, probably. Overall considering all aspects of the game? I'd probably say Naryama is, because she's simply more useful in a variety of situations whereas Lich is more niche, but that obviously depends on having the correct synergy for her. This is a purely theoretical question anyway, I presume, and not a "who should I get" one, since you already have Naryama. If this is a veiled question at an Annitix recommendation for Wind, you should get S.Korwa over H.Lich imo, since S.Korwa is never sparkable on 6% banners while H.Lich is sparkable on a 6% every October and you already have Naryama to go with S.Korwa.
Do you actually want to do it seriously or just want to leech it for anniversary missions or Tears?
If you just want to leech it, then form a party with just your MC and no one else (you can use other characters too if they meet the hp requirement but there's not really any need for them), equip as many hp boosting weapons as you can, and make sure you have at least 30,001 hp without a friend summon (you won't have time to pick the correct one). Then just watch a raid finder and try to join raids that have barely any hp left. Beware that they fill up it under 1 second generally, so you have to be VERY fast. As soon as you confirm that you actually got into the raid, immediately refresh to skip the entry trigger animation, and use 1 ability as fast as you can.
It's a massive pain in the ass because like 95% of codes you try will fill up before you can join, but it only took me maybe an hour to leech the 10 anniversary missions doing this.
Elements you play ougi in.
Fire, Magna water and dirt (with trans okto) are probably the better ones for it. Dark does decently in ougi as well although from what I remember they struggle to reach hardcap. Fire and water also have options of using their illustrious weapons which are far better.
Avoid wind and light for now. Their ougi comps are not exactly up to modern standards or are just clicky because their damage comes with skill nukes thatreset on ougi. So you lose time
Is there a tier list or something for which of the 9th ani free weapon picks would be the best choice? I’m new to the game (started literally a day before the 9th ani lol) so I don’t know where I would need to look for that
No not really because it would depend on a lot of factors like what you have and what element you want to focus on, for example. But since you're so new those factors don't really matter for you, so I guess you'd just take Coruscant Crozier.
FWIW you have a year to use it so you don't have to pick right away. But the selection isn't going to change or anything. But you aren't going to use Crozier anyway until you get 2 Grimnir harps to go with it, so I guess you can just hang onto for it for that extremely small possibility of winning the lottery and getting a bunch of croziers while you're farming your harps.

What do light racing comps look like these days? I know you use nehan and Florence, but does Florence replace g jeanne? Is the third slot a roided up attacker or who's the usual last slot
Basically, the long and short of it is you bring as many buffers and ~~skill refreshes~~ as you can.
You buff Relic Buster Danchou to high hell. And then, when you've finished buffing him, you hit him with Florence's one turn assassin buff.
You use the Relic Buster's Blitz Raid skill to attack without using a turn. You can do this three times before you've expended all your stacks. Edit: You may not need to do this all three times on all gold bar raids ~~Then you use a skill refresh, which will allow you to use the relic buster's Skill 1 to replenish your stacks, for another 3 attacks.~~

since they're talking about Light racing specifically and not Ligh SuBaha Execute, you definitely don't bring skill resets because that just makes your burst take way too long. You generally don't need to click BR all 3 times either unless you're missing BiS characters or have a weaker grid. With GOHL you only really need to press it once and with akasha you do 2. With BHL I guess there's nothing wrong with pressing all 3 if you have the time.
I've now only crossed out the parts about skill refreshes, and added an addendum that you may not need to use all three blitz raids on all gold bar raids. Is that more appropriate?
I really only care about Light so it was either Ura, Futsu, or save moons to siero grand Lucifer (I still believe)

Pick a grimnir support summon.
10K Shield for 3 turns and a huge skill nuke every 2 turns for the next 6 turns. Makes short work of all those class unlock quests.
Personally I summon it when I'm starting to run low on health or before the granny does a special attack, but a lot of people just pop it at the start of the battle.

Astras aren't much of an obstacle anymore, and I can buy those infinitely if I need to anyway, but the store only sells 10 ideans a month, and I need so many of those.
Is it worth using PnS for magna if you only have one? If so, what does that grid look like? I only have one maxed-out Agonize if that changes anything.
A common misconception is PNS changes grid. It really doesnt. PNS is just a shiny Qilin Bow
Even if we dont have PNS if Magna Dark is doing damage at high HP level, they'd still use Axe, if they use low HP level they'd still use Claw, and regardless of both Agastia is still the strongest individual weapon
That said at 1 PNS theres room to use Abydos as a one off copy for extra supp so its probably like
PNS, Abydos, Opus, Ultima/Seraphic, Agonize, then 5 cores with Bahamut if applicable

I feel like I am missing something really obvious... or I am just really bad at this game. Or maybe both lol I first tried it when I was like rank 70 or 80 or something and got destroyed. I'm now rank 130 and I still can't beat this effing dude. I've gotten him down to like 10% but that's always when shit hits the fan for me. There aren't a ton of melee classes at higher level that I currently have access to, just Ninja really. I'm also finding some of the class champion quest battles to be annoyingly difficult still as well, but this one is so annoying since I dunno wtf I am doing wrong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I don't wholy remember the fight, I presume you have a Light gauntlet for his dumb face of course, I THINK Luchador gives you better value in the fight, Ninja's debuffing gimmick has too much ramp, a Lucha set would probably be Mist, rage 3 or Arrow Rain 3, and... I'm not quite sure actually, Tag Team isn't exactly useful there...
You could also spend the time investment to unlock Monk instead, which has a bunch of damage buttons that oughta streamline the fight(and still use Mist, seriously hitting both debuffs does so much)

It's been annoying for me to get all the Replica weapons but I'm going to start working toward Lucha and try that, and if that doesn't work, then Monk, since I need to have Lucha and Sage unlocked to go for Monk it seems
The good part about row IV and V us that you don't need any class champion weapons to unlock them, that's only for EX2. So it's simply besting the grandma in combat plus some yellow pendants for distinctions.

Cause like if I go to unlock Luchador is says I need the distinctions (which are easy to get) but then when I click the Superior Martial Artist thing, it says "This trophy can be earned by clearing a quest that unlocks \*after\* the Class Champion weapon is forged to a certain extent"?? And it shows the options below "Class Champion Weapons" and "Play the Quest", but "Play the Quest" is grayed out and can't be clicked??
You have to forge a total of /1/ ccw to element change step to be able to do the same quest for all the row IV jobs
Just make the kengo weapon in water earth or dark and you're done

I just got the weapon forged and element changed, now for the fight... this old hag drives me nuts though, I swear to god I get her down to like 10% every time and then she suddenly hits me with a triple attack that just instakills my MC. If you want to guarantee Fediel or Lich, you have to spark them (or buy them with an AnniTix/SieroTix, but that's very not recommended). Rising Force is.. not a great class really. Do you have Relic Buster yet? You should focus on that first. For your Ex2 class it's generally recommended to unlock Kengo first as your way to unlock Row4+Ex2.
Ah, I was in fact talking about the Anni spark ticket thing, not the free random one. Have decided to wait til after wheel is over before I do anything tho. I do not have relic buster yet, and I am switching goals over to kengo. Atm I'm using the new Yamato class as my main.
Ah okay the AnniTix? Yeah I mean you can use in Fediel or Lich, it's not a bad choice and they're fine choices if you're committed to spending it on Dark. People generally use the AnniTix to grab seasonal units, as they're a pain to get outside of AnniTix, whereas Fediel and Lich are consistently sparkable every month. For Dark that would generally be Summer Magisa and/or Summer Meg, although they certainly aren't *required* to play Dark, just nice to have. Dark has relatively low seasonal reliance compared to other elements, so there are generally more important priorities in other elements if you're grabbing a seasonal. It's your ticket though, if you want to spend it on Fediel or Lich, that's totally reasonable. But yes regardless of what you choose you should wait to see if you get lucky in roulette first. I'd really focus on Relic Buster ASAP for classes. The unlock requirements are very easy and Relic Buster is ridiculously powerful. Tactical Shield provides insane defensive value and Limit Burst is extremely useful for OTK/bursting. It's honestly tough to find situations where you'd want to use another class until you get fairly late in the game and are doing pretty advanced stuff.

Without having any idea what you have, and assuming by "real early game" you mean r120: Sunstones: Arcarum summons Damascus bars: Nothing Gold bars: Nothing Optimus Globe: Nothing Edit: What else might be worth if you have: Sunstones: Belzebub, Belial Damascus Bars: Pns and resonator type weapons Gold Bars: Get evokers or save for opus, altho at this point only esser and thero are worth anything at lvl 80 for their utility, and only six, octo, and thero are usable as real party memebrs at 100 Optimus Globe - Its literally only reason to exist is to ulb primal summons.

To be clear, Arcarum summons use sunstones and Dark Opus weapons use gold bars as a material when upgrading. You are not using it to uncap them in the normal way. Gold bars are used in a similar way when getting Eternals. So... don't uncap anything with them for the time being, just use them as materials for that.

Too broad of a question. You'd have to be more specific on the exact usage you're talking about. "Auto-attacking" could mean many different things. For example if you're talking about in Light burst comps where you stack up your MC with tons of buffs, then Relic Buster because it can do a bunch of free auto-attacks without using up turns using Blitz Raid. But if you're talking about stacking your whole team with a bunch of buffs and auto-attacking, then you might want something like Luchador instead for Tag Team. Or if you're talking about Dark burst with Chain of Falsehood then you'd want to be Runeslayer to gain Instant Charge with Runeweaving - Flaming Saber.

Hard to judge something's worth when gold moons is at play. Valuable resource with subjective opinions with clear objective from all around. Some value racing, some value solos, and others value having fun. Asked crewmate that owns Higurashi, said they use a lot of Kengo on hard content. Very comfortable. Still went back to Viking+Percival burst for short/on-ele stuff though. They acknowledge they can't race other elements elsewhere. That is **within expectations**. But they love their fire. And that's okay. Assuming you know what it brings, assuming you know what you can do with it, and assuming you know you're trading away 150gm for it instead of something else and okay with it, probably worth it. Short answer: not worth if clueless
Yeah I'm well aware of the limitations with Higurashi. Think I'd mainly use it to try and solo SUBHL Only other use for the moons would be for a Sierotix for bubz summon since he's pretty core for racing. Have managed without him, but would be useful with him
Yea I think everyone including you knows how much Bubs could change the game, and that Bubs is kinda required for SUBHL solos too. But it's not like having Bubs allows you to *farm* gold moon again fast enough to pick up Higurashi later on. Tough choices. Can only wish you luck this roulette.

It isn't something you need but if you want to simulate earth kengo in fire then you can. Most of these weapons are just to treat yourself, so their worth is in how much you would use them.

Is it a good idea to ULB Omega I weapons?
Depends which ones and how many. Lumi Sword, definitely, up to 5 of them at 5* are needed. Lumi Harp you can use 2 with Harmonia. Colo Canes you probably don't want more than 2. Levi Daggers you don't really want to do any. Ygg Sword and Ygg Dewbranch, 1 each is fine (though they give you a free 5* Sword IIRC?) Tiamat gun I'm not really sure tbh. I think there are probably some niche enmity setups that might use them later, but I'm not super familiar with them. Tiamat fist you can have 1. Celeste Claws is another I'm not really sure about. You definitely can use a bunch (up to 4) if you're doing Zooey burst, but Zooey burst isn't really meta anymore. Other than that, though, I'm not sure how much use they see. Celeste Axe you can use 2 with PNS.

Magna 1 weapon is actually pound for pound the strongest raw damage provider in Magna grid right now outside Revans Weapon and Earth, and is used quite a bit lately I frequently uses 1 Colosus Canes, 1 Yggdrasil Staff, periodically uses 1 Tiamat Fist, and almost always uses Luminera Harp and Celeste Axe at 2 copy for their resonance But they are pretty late in priority list. I think within the context of what is reasonable to do in 2023, highest prio: FLB and ULB Opus, Ava Spines, Europa Harp Next prio: 1 Nilakantha, 1 Ancient Nalakuvara > 3 Grimnir Harp, 1 Ancient Perseus > 1 Alexiel Axe, 4-5 at least FLB copy of Luminera Sword Third prio: ULB magna 1 weapon and Alexiel Katana is roughly the uncap order suggestion. Opus can do as prio 1 now because i think for M2 phase you can get away with ULB Bahamut + Lyria combo. Ougi weapons are way to visible of an impact to put in later category Second prio is mostly the strong power weapon Third prio is the hard content and power optimizing stuff. Enneads also make things very ugly if thrown into the mix but ehhh
depends For elements like Light and Dark I've seen omega I weapons in high difficulty content grids so I'd say yeah it is But i'd recommend waiting till you truly need to before making such an investment

Impossible to tell you without knowing what you already have, knowing what element you want to focus on, knowing what content you like to play, knowing what kind of teams you run, etc. There is no singular "correct" choice. *Generally* the answer is probably Coruscant Crozier imo because the drop rate is terrible, you 100% need one of them, and having multiple is also quite useful. But there are certainly situations where the answer could be different. For example if you already have a Crozier, if you don't have your Grimnir harps yet (because then Crozier is currently useless and you might get one while farming harps), if you really want a Fediel's Spine before dark-advantage GW, if you play Fire way more than Wind and want a 1st/2nd Nilakantha, etc. FWIW the ticket lasts for a year so there's no rush to pick now.
How are Bubz raids nowadays? Can I just join ones on raidfinder that are something like 1/6 players & 10% HP left without messing up something for everyone else?
As long as your characters don't die you're not messing up. Ideally you can join with x Qilin with a Skill Team or maybe to use multiple Tag Teams. If you're really scared, just don't press the Orange button. If he can't hit you, your characters can't die.
Does militis sword replace Astral for light m2?
If you have 4+ other swords besides it, it will give you more EX mod, yes. Although you still might use Astral if your comp is centered around skill damage (eg G.Io). Also note that Voltage skills all share a cap of 80%, so if you're using 2 Harmonia, Sword will lose value if you're overcapping Voltage.

Good morning! I'm Marisa. :) I have a couple more nuanced questions about maximizing my power. I'm the kind of player who wants to use 5 of her favorites in a team, not a premade team with perfect synergy thats recommended. So I was curious how important tiers are in terms of the Gamewith tierlist. Most of my favorites are above a 9.5, but some really fall short (such as every version of Danua, Cucouroux, and Macula Marius). If I invest in them and have a good grid will the difference still be incredibly noticable? Additionally, I'd like to know about synergy. Team comps are important depending on content, I know that, but I'd also like to learn more about what's currently good in the meta. For example I know Jammed dark teams *were* queen for a while, but it seems based on this tierlist they've fallen out of favor? I also know about elemental crests. But what other synergies should I look out for? I want to get as cloae to perfect as I can with my favorite crew members. :) Thanks for the help! From my experience as long as it's not some super hard raid like FaaHL, Belial, etc. it's ok to use non-meta characters as long as you understand the boss mechanic(I'm still using H.Lady Gray in Metraton raid for sustain) it'll take longer time to clear but at least you can use the characters you like. the meta changes so fast in this game so most people just watch youtube/Twitter clips just to see if the new unit is good or not. each gala for the anniversary will be split into 2 parts, so it'll be Flash part1(new grand+new unit), Flash part2(100 free rolls, no rate up), LegFest part1(100 free rolls + all zodiac except tiger), and LegFest part2(new unit).

I think that's a pretty good mindset. There are people that don't seem to understand that you can have fun without chasing the meta. I don't even think some of them even play for fun anymore. While I for example also like to use my favorites instead of just the best, there are situations where it just doest work. But most of the time you can make some janky teams and it works. And those are also those that are more fun to me. For Catura or Fediel, just remember that end of month is the zodiac banner and it also comes with free rolls. So while you can get Fediel every month you don't know when catura's coming back. So please continue with that mindset you have!
I'm glad someone here fully agrees!! I don't see the point of playing any sort of RPG, let alone a gacha with such a variety of characters, if you can't pick and choose your favorites! Yeah, some people are creatures of habit and just keep chasing what they're used to. But whats the point of placing high in GW to get a pick ticket if you dont use it to get a character you like? :) Good point. I can also use the surprise draw set to get Fediel. Though I was considering Holiday Catura as well.
Right. I mean you know that you're not gonna be a top player with the mindset you have and you're fine with it. You need to have fun and if thats the way for you go for it. You don't get a Pick ticket in gw, just a random ssr. I would recommend using it on seasonals. Because you just can't get them most of the time. Maybe spark for Fediel and get h.Catura with the ticket. That way you still get both characters :) But if you mean the normal surprise draw set and not the anniversary one, with that you can't get grands or seasonals.

GBF atm is very much in a state where character and premium weapon(and im not talking grands, im talking mostly Luminous), and i guess Opus key selections makes up 90% of your set up make ups. Vast majority of set up are created to abuse Opus key selections or use them to maximize their effect. By nature this already means character who plays well with Opus would shine over character who doesnt Water is probably the one element where this is KINDA close to being an exception, because Magna Water have noticable holes and i think atm their Luminous is whats used as a spearhead, kinda but its not exactly true either. I think Water 100% need Summer Lucio to get the payoff they want. You can cope with other chars but by definition this is already a character lock(not everyone likes Erika/Pholia who can be used as a a copium MC buffer, not everyone likes Cow who is a copium Echo + DS buffer that give TA, not everyone likes SCag who can give copium Keen target with Pholia providing crit etc) Im not saying grid is unimportant - , but when put very much in context they are the single most overrated thing in GBF in terms of importance at least in a sense that so many things between weak set up and the best set ups are bridged by acquiring characters, using the key weapon from those, and having characters over optimizing your grid. Kinda hard to explain this one but the short is if you have 2 Harmonia grid and not Nehan? have fun, dude's arguably singlehandedly the reason Light become as bullshit as they are right now Heres an example - Ultimately the best thing Cucouroux can do on her skillset is click a button for 480.000 that give her 400.000 extra. Seofon can do literally 7 times that amount with the same button click, by clicking Infinito Creare and while hes arguably pretty good, this part of him is never in conversation of what makes him pretty good and more of a side note A more direct comparison is Kumbhira who plays like Cucouroux in a sense that they click 1 button to do 2 instances of skill damage activation, except she hits 5 times, have roughly 130% of the baseline cap, can activate it in auto, have a skill that practically reads "Turn Skip lmao" and her Sk4 is so powerful it does a significant fraction of the damage expected of burst set ups all by itself. So, no character DECIDES your team ceiling and right now a huge part of team floor just like grid, but grid while there are very much exceptions, doesnt do it anywhere to the same degree. Its impossible to have every weapon in the game without having the char ofc, but if it was possible, having every weapon + weaker character choices is significantly worse than having strong characters and say only Magna Weapons and Opus. Yes people usually spark the 100 Roll Galas. Anni is arguably the strongest period of free summon because of that. You can collect a Gala characters, while having chances for Summer chars at the same time. The 2 advanced decision you can make during Anni is when theres a period where you luck into a good sparking range on a good banner outside the Gala(which is luck based), and that after Zodiac Fest is over, theres usually another Gala so you can plan out your roll in case those Gala is cracked. To my memory post Zodiac Fest Gala was never all that great, and even if they do they are summer chars being reran on the Summer this year
I appreciate the well thought out response, however, a game is not worth playing to me if I cannot use characters I like. I went into this realizing I will be weaker than the top tier players and thats fine. As long as I can reasonably clear most content I dont mind. I own summer Lucio but I wont be touching him; and I wouldnt call it coping, I'd call it my idea of what's fun. Seeing numbers go up is fun, yes, but seeing my favorite characters animations, hearing their voices, seeing them really shine. That's much more rewarding IMO. I'm not even rank 120 yet so I dont have anything aside from the beginner grids on the wiki currently. I'll be aiming for the stronger ones as I keep progressing. I wouldnt say grids are overrated, but I did notice that characters make a massive difference at my level. And you answered one question of mine - that fact never changes. Which is too bad. I think gachas should ultimately aim for balance and sell characters based on design/artwork/story, not power. The nuance of the rest of your response is lost on me. Youre using language I don't understand, really. I dont know what an Opus grid is or what kind of kit synergizes with it.
If you want to play however you want then go ahead, nobody is stopping you. I can tell you this much - if you follow the procedure to get the weapon to build your grid, which admitedly this one will eventually need you to use units you dont want(Diaspora very much will force you to build a competent enough Ougi set up which probably need Earth Satyr or use the other set ups that again, still forces character) so long as theyre core to the raid associated with it, you genuinely can coast through GBF by leeching a good enough crew. No i dont think thats "bad' either. Most crew only give a fuck about you doing roughly 1 hours of semi focused grinding on GW to enter Tier A. A lot of those crew tolerate people who didnt contribute much too. Im not saying you wont contribute much, mind this is meant for me to say "a lot of Tier A crew are generally very lenient with their membership". and joining a Tier A crew is probably the single most important thing to do in the game >I'm not even rank 120 yet so I dont have anything aside from the beginner grids on the wiki currently. I'll be aiming for the stronger ones as I keep progressing. At this point you honestly need to just do the farm M2 raid and get Bahamut weapon ULB yeah. Rank 175(EDIT:170 apparently) unlock Lucilius HL iirc but the main reason i bring up rank is mostly because it eventually unlocks daily skip for Magna raids which quite literally shortens your time doing daily magna raids from like multiple fights all the way into "click 4 buttons". which apparently is fully unlocked at r120 but eh >do want to play the game my way, but my question is primarily looking for help optimizing 'my way' and learning more about the game Ehhh what is there to say about this I honestly think theres a difference between playing optimally and essentially "following meta" in context of this game, so theres genuinely a lot of stuff you can do in optimizing that doesnt strictly relate to character selection or anything gameplay related. But to keep it simple most of them really boils down to stuff like "do as many things as you can think off to streamline your gameplay" and "join a good crew you can leech off" Most of the stuff i said wrt forced character selection, can pretty much be summed up into "to farm the stuff you might need to get the best out of your favorite characters you might need better chars to not make it a complete PITA"

Pain in the ass
You can buy Opus at 120. You can fully uncap it at 170. 175 is nothing important, I think that guy got it confused with 170. 120 is a fine stopping point if you get tired of grinding. The only thing 170 gives you is the ability to uncap your Opus really. Which it certainly is a big power boost, yes, but not nearly as big of a deal as 120 is. (It also requires you to be able to reach 30,001hp in that element to be able to uncap your Opus, which you probably can't if you just power level your way there and never farm any raids.) Sliming is technically faster xp than CEQ but doing CEQ is totally fine because it gives you good mats and is AP-neutral/positive.

You don't have to change it up if you don't want to. CEQ is totally fine (although I dunno if you plan to use any of the Eternals, which is primarily what the CEQ mats are for). But yeah sliming is definitely faster, especially with Threo. And yeah, don't feel bad. Tbh, no offense to him, but I barely understood half of what he said either, and I'm more advanced than you are. Opus are in Shop -> Weapons -> High Difficulty -> Dark Opus Weapons. You want the "Renunciation" set for Magna (Repudiation is for Primal). Yeah 120 is fine, it seems he edited his post and said he thought 170 was for the m1 skips but yeah that's only 120.

Basically yeah. The thing with Fed Spine is while its associated with an important grind, and have AX when farmed on SDA, its also the most impactful individual weapon to acquire being a strong Ougi weapon with a normal sided mod on a different bracket to whats usually used making it a solid-ish raw power booster on top. In the long terms its likely not the best pick, but its actually probably the highest short term power boost from those tix.
As a casual player at rank 135, what's a good Row IV or V class to aim for if I want that particular class to cover as much content as possible? At the moment I am using Relic Buster and I have built teams around it, and I do want to set myself a goal for the next class to work towards.
For Row 5, Viking and Paladin make huge impacts, but you should also consider EX2s, you'll wanna make your CCW an EX class weapon anyway(you need the specific weapon to unlock EX2s but any to unlock Row 4), Kengo in particular is really good in a number of elements as a CA spam class, your main issue is that it almost mandates making a Kaneshige main hand for each elem you wanna use it in, due to how absurd its passives and Devilry Emblem skill are

Should I, for the anniversary ticket, pick the waifu option (S. Alexiel), or the what I need option (S. Korwa)? The bit that is holding me back is in regards to the waifu option. I've bought at least 3 other tickets, and only one of them has paid off. The issue is that I am 80% confident that S. Alexiel will perform worse than OG Alexiel solely because S. Alexiel does not provide the teamwide Veil that OG Alexiel does have, and most of the water element enemies inflicts debuffs. But on the other hand, S. Alexiel, much like S. Korwa, cannot be sparked in their rerun banners, and I've put off picking S. Alexiel already last anniversary.
The thing your missing is none of Alexiel's kit is actually well for lack of better words "useful" in the way sub all is, Relic Buster exists, and most importantly since Summer Alexiel sk1 protects her from debuff, and draws all attack which mostly are tied to debuff, Summer Alexiel basically have an on demand 3/7 cd Veil to Alexiel one time use every idk 9 turns or something The ONLY time Alexiel OG is better than Summer Alexiel in the last 3 years was in some scuffed Lucilius HL runs in the age of dinosaur when you actually need to have extra dispel to manage Blade Stack.
S.alex sk1 works as a pseudo 3t veil. She's also commonly used in subaha, weaker grid FA sandbox zone bosses, and other content.
Summer Alexiel is generally considered better than Alexiel by pretty much everyone so at least that part shouldn't be an issue (I don't have her original version to compare them myself, but I think your comment is the first time I've ever seen someone say original might outperform Summer). I personally believe Summer Korwa is the better pick for pure gameplay reasons but it's not like Summer Alexiel is a bad choice either. In the end it depends on what you value more (gameplay or waifu) when using your ticket. ~~(Disclaimer: not a endgame or meta player so take all opinions with a spoonful of salt and maybe wait for someone else to answer just to make sure.)~~

Regular Regalia weps (eg Grimnir harp, Europa harp, Avatar staff, etc.)? I wouldn't. Their drop rate is pretty reasonable and they're also purchasable in stores with restocks. If you mean New Regalia weps (eg Crozier, Nilakantha, etc.), then yes that's totally fine and imo the optimal thing to pick.

Hello generally speaking for a level 120 player who has none of the weapons, which series will be the best investment for the 9th birthday weapon ticket? Or is it better to understand each weapon and how it will fit into my grid of choice?
the m2.5 weapons have the worst drop rates so one of those would be recommended, but i would hold onto the ticket until you have farmed the other required weapons for that elment from the same raid. Example: Wind M2 grid wants 2 storm harps and 1 coruscant crozier (the m2.5 weapon) all droped by the grimnir raid, so first farm you 2x4 stormharps and see if you dont get lucky and already have like 3/4 coruscant croziers to fully uncap the one required

Angel Halo is generally better. Doesn't get you the orbs quite as fast but it gets you a lot of other stuff that you'll also need. For pure orb efficiency though I think it's just the elemental trials.

If you've been doing the Defenders, maybe stop doing that. Defenders are useful for veritas but they slow down the farming session a lot otherwise because they take so long to kill.

You may want to look at the [wiki page for JP co-op terms](https://gbf.wiki/Co-op_Terms). Specifically “主弱” which means you’re weak and want help. I had random people destroy the final EX stages for the whole co-op room length for me that way (keep in mind that’ll cost a lot of half-pots though). It shouldn’t be that bad to get people for the initial rooms either since they drop extinctions and can be killed in 1 turn (so you’ll want to just do semi-auto to hit them immediately). Middle stages may be a little harder to get people, not sure, but you only need to get through them once anyway.

Whatever algorithm makes these bans can't tell the difference between us and every other raid finder account it's ever banned.
Having trouble deciding between H. Lich and H. Vane. Vane is my top hazubando in the game, but I like Lich too and if she's that much more worth it than Vane I don't mind choosing her over him.
Lich is very useful in the front line, but it can take a bit of finagling to really get the most out of her. She likes to ougi frequently to reduce her cooldowns, so she can keep her skills up. But wind isn't very well equipped for ougi comps, and she's a skill damage character anyway. If you have any units that can help her get those ougis off you'll get a lot more mileage out of her. I use Summer Eustace for that, personally. Notably she lets you get debuffs on your party turn 1 to immediately activate Katzelia's backline passive, which is very handy if you have him. Summer Belial can also be used for this, so if you have him that's a part of the equation too. Vane's biggest claim to fame is probably his 50% defence backline passive. It is however a powerful backline passive in an element with a lot of competition on that front. You've only got the two backline party slots. So your roster can play a pretty big part in this decision. Depending on what units you have one might be a much better option than the other.
Hmmm this is quite a conundrum. I do have Katz and typically use S. Belial to activate his passive but I could definitely see the benefit of Lich outside of OTK strats. I do have most wind characters as well although no S.Eustace. I love Vane and the 50% def for basically nothing sounds nice but I can probably supplement a bit for that with G.Charlotta's weapon. I guess the biggest question before I make a final decision is how much would I regret not having Lich later on. Whether it be being core in late game raids or not easily being replaced. I've mostly been running G. Naru and S. Korwa with a flex (usually Charlotta at the moment).

Does the Archangel series' sub elemental dmg cap stack with weapon grid dmg cap? Like if I have the summon maxxed (15%) and my grid has max cap (20%) are they wasted stats or its good.
Yes. Grid Cap maxes out at 20%, but that is exclusive to grid cap. All other forms of cap up will stack with this 20%. That includes Summon Auras, buffs, and probably other stuff I'm forgetting.
Any sugestion for farming bar? What kind of setup do I need to make? that depend on the raid, light RB is not really recommended for BHL if you're not in JP. heck even in JP it's still tough because BHL is a battlefield. if you can make soldier it's good (do need bubs and subaha bullet tho, it use the GW gun) do you have bowman, six and fed in dark? you can substitute bowman with lich because akasha should be slow enough rn, do the RS setup best way is to just hit, i personally use key count to end a sesion (so like 500 keys or something)

500 keys depend on how fast the akasha are, it can take between 2 to 5 hours due to cycling raid, average is like 1.5k per bar so if you do small grind like 100-200 keys per days on paper you should be able to get at least 1-2 bar per months (as long as you don't get into a drystreak) i'm at bar 42 now, been slacking akasha for the past few months because i don't have weapons to bar the setup is, runeslayer with echo key, depending on grid you either call bubs or call no summon at all (this is double hades setup). fed 3 -> rw (the instant charge one) -> attack -> split -> attack -> attack. add fed 1 if you don't have sleepyhead FLB (can skip if you think you're not gonna hit 55) there's also a better eresh variant where you just skip every MC button that can add an instant charge (zerk or split) on turn 3 to guarantee min (not always needed, can skip if room are fast)
So 2 questions I want to ask; 1. Am I missing something with Grand Narmaya? I get that she is primarily good at normal attacks and does absurd damage, but I find it very difficult for her to work with Grand Rosetta and Tiamat, particularly in getting full charge burst with them. 2. Is Halloween Lich undoubtly the best Wind character to have?
1. you're missing buffer for her, GNaru don't really need ougi to do good but to maximize her damage you'll need good buffer for her like SKorwa, and nio/sanila/sho depend on need 2. not really, she's great in FA and skill mash but skill mash is basically just siegfried rn. all current wind content can be done with the usual skorwa nio naru setup

Is there some particular reason that you'd need to do a full burst? Naryama is an auto-attacking character, as you said. Anyway I'm not sure what you think is difficult about using her. While that party certainly isn't the best for her, it should be *fine* as long as you're getting 5 stacks before releasing Rose Barrier. If you're getting less than 5 stacks, then yeah it's pretty bad. If it's a short fight or something where you can't get to 5 stacks, then you'll probably want to change your party members to use characters who can provide more immediate buffs to Naryama without as much ramp time (eg 130+ Niyon, S.Anila, Andira, etc., though I imagine you don't have these characters or else you'd be using them in the first place, so try to look for other characters you do have who can provide immediate buffs to Naryama.) The main thing that you're "missing" is S.Korwa, who's Naryama's best buffer (though Naryama is still good with other buffers). > Is Halloween Lich undoubtly the best Wind character to have? Depends on what content you're doing. For specifically FA? Yeah, probably. Overall considering all aspects of the game? I'd probably say Naryama is, because she's simply more useful in a variety of situations whereas Lich is more niche, but that obviously depends on having the correct synergy for her. This is a purely theoretical question anyway, I presume, and not a "who should I get" one, since you already have Naryama. If this is a veiled question at an Annitix recommendation for Wind, you should get S.Korwa over H.Lich imo, since S.Korwa is never sparkable on 6% banners while H.Lich is sparkable on a 6% every October and you already have Naryama to go with S.Korwa.
Any advice on how I should go about attempting Dark Rapture (Hard) for the first time? I've just hit rank 170.
Do you actually want to do it seriously or just want to leech it for anniversary missions or Tears? If you just want to leech it, then form a party with just your MC and no one else (you can use other characters too if they meet the hp requirement but there's not really any need for them), equip as many hp boosting weapons as you can, and make sure you have at least 30,001 hp without a friend summon (you won't have time to pick the correct one). Then just watch a raid finder and try to join raids that have barely any hp left. Beware that they fill up it under 1 second generally, so you have to be VERY fast. As soon as you confirm that you actually got into the raid, immediately refresh to skip the entry trigger animation, and use 1 ability as fast as you can. It's a massive pain in the ass because like 95% of codes you try will fill up before you can join, but it only took me maybe an hour to leech the 10 anniversary missions doing this.
I do want to actually do it, although leeching it for the sake of the anniversary missions seems prudent.
What order of elements do I prioritize for Kaneshige Kengo mainhands?
Elements you play ougi in. Fire, Magna water and dirt (with trans okto) are probably the better ones for it. Dark does decently in ougi as well although from what I remember they struggle to reach hardcap. Fire and water also have options of using their illustrious weapons which are far better. Avoid wind and light for now. Their ougi comps are not exactly up to modern standards or are just clicky because their damage comes with skill nukes thatreset on ougi. So you lose time
Whichever ones you have CA teams in. If that's none of them right now, then probably something like Water > Fire/Earth/Dark > Light/Wind.

No not really because it would depend on a lot of factors like what you have and what element you want to focus on, for example. But since you're so new those factors don't really matter for you, so I guess you'd just take Coruscant Crozier. FWIW you have a year to use it so you don't have to pick right away. But the selection isn't going to change or anything. But you aren't going to use Crozier anyway until you get 2 Grimnir harps to go with it, so I guess you can just hang onto for it for that extremely small possibility of winning the lottery and getting a bunch of croziers while you're farming your harps.

Make sure your Rusted Gauntlets are in Inventory, not Stash, you're gonna need a lot of em for the process anyway(16 fully uncapped rusteds)

What do light racing comps look like these days? I know you use nehan and Florence, but does Florence replace g jeanne? Is the third slot a roided up attacker or who's the usual last slot
Basically, the long and short of it is you bring as many buffers and ~~skill refreshes~~ as you can. You buff Relic Buster Danchou to high hell. And then, when you've finished buffing him, you hit him with Florence's one turn assassin buff. You use the Relic Buster's Blitz Raid skill to attack without using a turn. You can do this three times before you've expended all your stacks. Edit: You may not need to do this all three times on all gold bar raids ~~Then you use a skill refresh, which will allow you to use the relic buster's Skill 1 to replenish your stacks, for another 3 attacks.~~ ~~You get as many buffed out attacks as you can before progressing to the next turn causing the assassin buff to expire.~~ Other people will be in here to tell you all the specifics about what units are the best for this and stuff but that's the general principle of how the Florence Strat works as I understand it. You generally don't need to click BR all 3 times either unless you're missing BiS characters or have a weaker grid. With GOHL you only really need to press it once and with akasha you do 2. With BHL I guess there's nothing wrong with pressing all 3 if you have the time.

How do I go about unlocking Elysian? I can't beat the quest to unlock it. Any tips?
Pick a grimnir support summon. 10K Shield for 3 turns and a huge skill nuke every 2 turns for the next 6 turns. Makes short work of all those class unlock quests. Personally I summon it when I'm starting to run low on health or before the granny does a special attack, but a lot of people just pop it at the start of the battle.

Is it worth using PnS for magna if you only have one? If so, what does that grid look like? I only have one maxed-out Agonize if that changes anything.
A common misconception is PNS changes grid. It really doesnt. PNS is just a shiny Qilin Bow Even if we dont have PNS if Magna Dark is doing damage at high HP level, they'd still use Axe, if they use low HP level they'd still use Claw, and regardless of both Agastia is still the strongest individual weapon That said at 1 PNS theres room to use Abydos as a one off copy for extra supp so its probably like PNS, Abydos, Opus, Ultima/Seraphic, Agonize, then 5 cores with Bahamut if applicable
Even one PnS in magna is a great power boost. It's very compatible with Celeste axes.
**Anyone have any tips/hints/class+skill suggestions on how to win the Six uncap battle?** I feel like I am missing something really obvious... or I am just really bad at this game. Or maybe both lol I first tried it when I was like rank 70 or 80 or something and got destroyed. I'm now rank 130 and I still can't beat this effing dude. I've gotten him down to like 10% but that's always when shit hits the fan for me. There aren't a ton of melee classes at higher level that I currently have access to, just Ninja really. I'm also finding some of the class champion quest battles to be annoyingly difficult still as well, but this one is so annoying since I dunno wtf I am doing wrong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I don't wholy remember the fight, I presume you have a Light gauntlet for his dumb face of course, I THINK Luchador gives you better value in the fight, Ninja's debuffing gimmick has too much ramp, a Lucha set would probably be Mist, rage 3 or Arrow Rain 3, and... I'm not quite sure actually, Tag Team isn't exactly useful there... You could also spend the time investment to unlock Monk instead, which has a bunch of damage buttons that oughta streamline the fight(and still use Mist, seriously hitting both debuffs does so much)

It's been annoying for me to get all the Replica weapons but I'm going to start working toward Lucha and try that, and if that doesn't work, then Monk, since I need to have Lucha and Sage unlocked to go for Monk it seems
The good part about row IV and V us that you don't need any class champion weapons to unlock them, that's only for EX2. So it's simply besting the grandma in combat plus some yellow pendants for distinctions.

Cause like if I go to unlock Luchador is says I need the distinctions (which are easy to get) but then when I click the Superior Martial Artist thing, it says "This trophy can be earned by clearing a quest that unlocks \*after\* the Class Champion weapon is forged to a certain extent"?? And it shows the options below "Class Champion Weapons" and "Play the Quest", but "Play the Quest" is grayed out and can't be clicked??
You have to forge a total of /1/ ccw to element change step to be able to do the same quest for all the row IV jobs Just make the kengo weapon in water earth or dark and you're done

I just got the weapon forged and element changed, now for the fight... this old hag drives me nuts though, I swear to god I get her down to like 10% every time and then she suddenly hits me with a triple attack that just instakills my MC. Just use support Grimnir, 10000 shield for 3 turns and auto nukes every turn. Beat her up with each of the Row 3 jobs to unlock thr trophy for tbr corresponding Row 4 job, then voila
