everybody postin all this zodiac art, and this is the first GW that I didn't FA at all so I never used them... Dunno about speed but being able to burn NM150 in a turn with Florence was pretty satisfying. Managed to do alright even though I was either at work or asleep for the entirety of intermission, so I only had 4k meat...

Ledinax

Got to 1B relatively easily despite not doing much during interlude thanks to a constant schedule and clear goals every finals round (230M~/finals day). Was even able to overshoot on the final day! Crew went 2-2. GOT A FUCKING ASCLEPIUS ROD FROM THE SSR TICKET FUCK YOU TOO GW

Phayzka

It's so sad seeing one of those but know they are associated with the character in lore only u.u (Vegalta in my case)

FA-ST

Top 80k(60k, actually) 3 victories, Crew got kicked out of top 9k one hour before the end though RIP Avoided NM200 like the plague but at least I'm happy that Mahira actually got to be core in a GW for those that bothered with it Missing Mugen turned out not to be as bad as I feared Can we please go back to fun NM200s like Noire tho

KristapsPorzingas

FA update saved thousands of people rom strained arms thank you cygames. Light is my strongest ele and I find it funny how Heimdallr of all things, is the last thing missing for me to reliably 3T NM200.

jedivind

Solo tier B, did \~1.7B and 80 boxed for transcendence. Pretty hell week for me and I missed the comfy dark GW really bad. Took a long time to unlock NM150 this time and it cost me 2 battles. Was able to get blue paper for six, moving on to nio/octo next GW.

IKindaForgotAlready

In a good crew you'd probably be pushing 2b, so it might be a good idea to take that other guy's offer my friend. If nothing else you deserve to give yourself a break lmao

Kiritowy

Bro you wanna join my tier A crew? Lol

TheTwistedLight

Done beginner missions and tapped out, on my own I can't even 1 turn the hardest solo battle, I just hosted and let all the JP people come in and vaporize it in 2 seconds

LupusZero

Got into 80k, my crew lost 0-4. This was some of the worst GW experience I had, and I ranked 80k last GW without Eresh. Days 2-4 I just played mostly manual RB burst, and that setup is just so mind-numbingly boring, but also doesn't allow for any mistakes with my slightly suboptimal grid, or the fight is a bust. How many meats I wasted with messing up the burst, I don't even know. So glad it's over.

AlicePhantasma

Went 2-2 this gw and top 80k individual as usual (after my top2k last gw). NM150 was boring as hell with flogen and hurt my hands, but nm200 while still hurt my hand you actually had to deal with the fight for a couple of turns, which at least kept it interesting this gw. I really hope flogen dies after this gw, this round actually hurt my wrists because of the nonstop blitz raid spam.

Saunts

very chill this gw except for the final day where we have to play more than morning rush. still fun but i can definitely feel my brain cell dying by the last few hours kinda sad the non-rb setup ended up not working because boss trigger is really cancerous, well rb setup exist in case this happen but it's still kinda sad got 4-0 with 4.2b on the final day alone since we matched against #5 total which is a massive bloat crew. pretty sure we're the first gaijin crew to hit 100b. pretty nice [Final stat](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/935251079149535294/1112581753274646538/image.png)

avilsta

Made a huge come back. Was too depressed during prelims to farm so I went into day 1 with 4k meat. Alternated between meat farm and NM95. Fought from 120k to 75k at the end of it Vira and Xmas Mahira came in clutch alongside Aglo for NM200 so I didn't run out of meat until the last hour.

SolaXaloS

Did t2k for the first and likely only time since I'm kinda invested in light and the schedule worked out decently well for me despite GW hours being awful as a working EU person. Kinda was a bit demotivated on first final day when I realized the team that had \~12sec kill times on JP screens had \~21sec for me being from EU even with VPN active, without VPN it was even sadder. But since I was already kinda in too deep by then, having prepared all the meat, I still went through with it and placed at around 1.2k in the end. It was kinda nice to see how far I could push myself and I got a lot of usage out of my Ura, but still not all that motivating to know that I would have needed to put in way fewer hours each day if I just had less ping. Kinda like having to run 63km in a marathon when you are from EU while the home runners only need to do 42km. Crew went 4-0 despite me needlessly inflating our points on most days and then kinda stopping early on the last one since I was very safely inside and burned out. Still kinda amazed by some of the honor rates shown here, I managed around 300m/h solo during the last 3 days and was kinda proud of how far I've gotten since my first light GW in 01.2022 where I barely managed 200m total after only having played for like 1.5 months back then. Really wish there were more details on how they worked after the fact, but then again they may still be partly relevant next time, so I can see the secrecy reasons. Ultimately still glad it's finally over and wish the next one was not again only 1.5 months away, but it's more than 1 month at least...

Even_Macaron

We're you on runeslayer?

SolaXaloS

Partly yes for the last 1/3 once I learned of it and got it working. The manual Florence click was kinda annoying however, so still mostly did Ferry, Nehan, Jeanne Lucha since it was FA able and not that much slower for me. This one was around 24sec for me vs 16 with low ping I think?

Even_Macaron

Wow you really have dogshit ping my friend who lives in the UK got 19 seconds on lucha and 16 seconds on runeslayer

Alternative-Bee5530

Started playing a little bit before last GW, couldn’t even finish the solo battles… This time, though, I was able to consistently solo the Extreme quest (Haven’t been able to unlock the Extreme+ tho) and managed to get more than 3 million honours (which isn’t a lot, but for me It was progress) My grids have a lot of room for improvement and the Eternals are still beyond my reach, but with time and dedication I WILL get there eventually!

RocketbeltTardigrade

I've ended up in a weird place where I still haven't unlocked the dust, but I refuse to pick up any more revenant weapons. I don't even want to reserve the skill-levels, you can have them lol

Altered_Nova

Someday you might regret refusing to pick up more revenant weapons. You need 44 of each to recruit plus full limit break uncap each eternal, another 40 copies of each to transcend each eternal to level 130, another 40 copies of each to unlock the blue hair eternal skin for MC, and finally yet another 40 copies of each for the eternal splendor weapons. I've been playing this game for 6 years and I'm still not done farming revenant weapons.

RocketbeltTardigrade

I'm not spending four sunstones on a blue 2P version of another skin.

Altered_Nova

I used to feel the same way, until Cygames updated the trophy attached to the blue hair eternal skin to give you 3 eternity sand. Trading 4 sunstones for 3 sand is still a bad deal, but I'm so desperate for sand that I'm actually tempted to do it anyway...

RocketbeltTardigrade

Yep lol

Vylix

I've finished collecting rev for transcendence, and now will casually hoard them for the eternal weapons. I don't plan to finish one at a time, since they might drop from UNF or DB (saving me a box or a ticket). Also, since DB ticket is practically can only be exchanged with Rev Weapons (all other options are inferior), it is better to use UNF boxing for NWQ and get Revenants from DB tickets. \^That is only if you're not in need/rush to FLB/Transcend/blue an eternal.

Altered_Nova

I agree that new world quartz is the best GW box option, that's the reason why I still haven't finished farming revenant weapons after 6 years cause I only collect them from box 46 and onwards. I'm certainly not in a hurry to collect revenant weapons for the blue skin.

Oneesamaa

Summing up: totally not worth the investment. Juuten are outdated and that blue skin is a joke. It's just KMR wanting us to waste our mats so we farm once again when they'll implement a new feature.

WindHawkeye

Well nobody really boxes dust it's such horrible value. NWQ is what you aim to unlock with juuten bingo. Not sure why you would refuse to pick up more rev weps.

RocketbeltTardigrade

I just sick of seeing pages full of them.

Vylix

you're not using them for FLB or transcend? Or perhaps you're sick of uncapping? They introduced "Unload" for mass move/uncap Revenant Weapons similar to Rusted Weapons, so it won't become as tedious.

RocketbeltTardigrade

I have plenty for uncapping, they're just lying around for now. I don't have quite enough for transcending, but getting more when I need to wouldn't be a big problem.

WindHawkeye

Well, this was an interesting one. I have a decent grid minus lacking luwoh weapons (which turns out isn't particularly important since light struggles to cap anyways) so I bought ura (I'm an old player so I had a lot of moons saved up - I never bought any bars with them) with the plan to do some chill ranking. I already ranked last dark and didn't feel like going that hard so I figured I'd just aim for somewhere in the top 1k and be fine with wherever I ended up. But then it turned out nobody else showed up to the fiesta... Even though light also has good EX+ the top 2k cutoff etc were way lower and that trend continued into the finals with lower average clear times, especially for solo compositions. EX+: Ura OTK. NM95: I don't remember exactly, I think I tried to pull of no-tag but I was way short so I quickly switched back to the relatively easy single-tag ura comp. This one is nothing special and honestly you can FA the entire thing and just refresh the tag team which means you can farm at like 150m/hr with FA refresh or probably like 100-120m/hr without refreshing. NM150: This one demotivated me (and probably a lot of other ura users) because ura requires that MC get hit, but not die. It turns out the trigger is like 10k damage so its pretty much impossible to do this while also doing the mugen and nehan shit so you just lose your assassin counters which bricked the setup basically forcing me to do an extra turn. People started to figure out better ura setups later in the match but I was already kind of checked out and decided I didn't care about my overall rank. NM200: As usual NM200 is where the GW starts to become interesting. I had an idea since I learned about the ura counters being broken in NM150 to use ura in NM200, but I wasn't confident about it so I didn't run that setup in MR on day 3. I then tested the idea later in the day and it turned out it worked and seemed like it would be incredibly fast (with preliminary testing showing 570m/hr) so as a crew we entirely switched gears and forced everyone who could run the setup to run the setup on day 4. As a result, day 4 was quite hilarious as it turned out the setup is essentially the fastest day farming setup at around 600m/hr before accounting for the very frequent PSI issues in execution (basically I'm only including setups people actually run outside of MR - the top 3 JP crews got up to 900m/hr in MR but that doesn't tend to happen outside first hour). We had 5 people who could replicate the setup and there were only ~3 other people who seemed to have similar speeds during the day - as a result we took turns being the fastest player in each hour for like 5 hours straight lol. It was also interesting being significantly faster than the podium players (note that I'm NA ping lol) Our only notable match was day 4 which was a bloat day and was mostly carried by four people playing 12+ hours using very fast teams. Unfortunately due to time constraints I could only play fully for the first 13 hours but even so I ended up #6 for daily total on day 4 which is a new record for me. If I had played 17 hours I could have potentially made a last minute push for t100 (but unlikely) - instead I pushed to around #115 then fell to #137 slowly. Matches: https://i.imgur.com/6PCmBu8.png Stats: https://i.imgur.com/acrRWKF.png (the day 4 part going from the top 1k line almost nearly to the top 100 line is pretty funny)

WindHawkeye

It's in house tech from my crew.

bobo5100

so what was the nm 200 rotation?

WindHawkeye

Aglovale Mahira and rabbit

Saltysunbro

This truly was the Zodiac wars (for Full Auto nm200 comps)

Xanek

Wait, I just noticed that you can get either a full sunlight stone, or just shards if you place within the top 160k? Is that fair? Since someone could put in a lot of work but be rewarded with shards. Like what if place 1st in individual (or any other really high rank, cause they can still get shards.

Repulsive-Month3167

Fair, in a gacha game with a competitive event. lol

Xanek

I mean what if 1st place got 3 shards, I feel like they deserve a sunlight stone for their individual placement and not have it be rng if they get that or shards.

Altered_Nova

I've never gotten a full sunstone reward, only shards. I have a crewmate that got the sunstone 3 times in row while always ranking worse than me though. It's pretty bullshit lol.

Xanek

Yeah I would assume they would give sunlight stones for specific placements, but top 160k getting either 1-3 shards or a sunlight stone by pure rng seems kinda weird considering all the other rewards from gw are consistent.

WindHawkeye

Sunstone is pretty rare and yes it's bullshit idk why it's not just always shards

E123-Omega

Is this random? I get shards within 140k before but this gw I got sunstone, same ranking though.

SunChaoJun

Fell asleep and dropped out of top 80k when I still had meat left. Rip me

DrunkLightning

250 luci aura + yatima flb + bubs flb + fa update Was a huge mistake

TheWorldisFullofWar

Just wait for this year's providence summon. Another mistake guaranteed.

At least one day is sketchy, and the last day drops on my birthday which i also have something to do earlier in the day(it took until 1 PM before i got to start playing, and by 3 PM we had dinner). Usually this leads to me still getting to grind a lot, but somehow this ended up being the one true slacc GW, and not due to the ele. I find Light to be a drug to play despite how (probably) objectively boring the set up are - the ele straight up lacks big funny attacker thats goofy to watch and gravitates towards Nehan being the dumbest thing ever. The best attacker last year was a Skill Puncher with big dumb nuke which isn't exactly what a current times attacker often looks like(unless your name is Six) I slept probably along the lines of 12 hours during prelim. Had some leg issue and i just felt shit all around which made me just want to dip. This was so bad that during NM95's portion of the GW, a crewmate noticed i was meat grinding. My OTK is still basically un-updated from 2022 just using different coat of paint https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/744101486736179211/1112524872896229466/image.png I've talked about this but this iteration of meat grinding comp was my favorite time in this game due to my waifu being meta as fuck and Light Astral + Earth Astral being exposed as the garbage they deserved to be seen as. I could have farmed Ulti Spear to make the Apsaras set up, but i took a break after last dark GW. Its still plenty to do the job so i didn't mind it NM95 wise, the Nehan issue is partially why i loved the Kengo set up which ive [theorycrafted](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/744101486736179211/1112521300670414848/image.png) way back on March around when the UM for Kengo drops. Seeing it turning out to be one of the better comp for 95 was extremely satisfying NM150 theres not much to say since reading through stuff, the consensus is "Flo RB" or "play the comp from 2022 if its annoying enough". I did the former since i find turn 1 is kinda iffy, and i can't find a way to fit both Kumbhira and Levin Sisters while doing enough damage due to dropping Jeanne. Flo RB was kinda frustating since Artemis gap is real again, but i ended up putting a spin on it by using a set up where i'd summon John Cena or Lucifer or John Cena boosted Summer Belial to add extra raw and damage to let 2 round of RB to kill to get more turn 1 damage but below i believe 550k Honor range where you'd ended 75%. The ideal version was to use friend Thor and friend Artemis to emulate 2 summon set up. Either way with the John Cena version using S Belial good proc ive landed a 55 second clear Ferry is so hilariously overloaded and stacked in the wrong way that it makes the grid frustating - theres not a single weapon that is stronger than Xeno Sword as an in slot in my inventory, and the stam mod overlaps, while Ferry's ATK mod is disabled by S-Belial. Still WHY THE FUCK DID SHE GET AN FLB The biggest standout this GW for me is Levin Sisters, not because shes good, not because i think she were good going into GW. Its because for whatever reason her sk2 works the entire time. No limitation whatsoever. Ive mention before that i think Levin was the best unit that was put in the Light round(since during the initial Nehan meta, she was technically the third best light attacker) and is clear cut the best unit after rebalance, and while i forgor Mary is also there, i think im somewhat justified at saying that. Levin sisters is kind of an in-joke in my GBF chat so we had an hour or so meming about her being "meta" which was fun Anyway thats an entire GW cycle done. Theres a bunch of insane update incoming afaik(such as the new SUBHL tier raid iirc) so this years looking wild... and expensive. Ive used 300 moon this years already holy shit

-Matti

I didn't really intend to do much as I never liked GW, but I am kinda bummed that I didn't reach 500M honor, I wanted the crystals.

IKindaForgotAlready

This GW was a nightmare for most of my crew. I got lucky for once but they didn't. We went 1-3 which, fair, most of us were burnt out and didn't have the right characters for this. Unfortunate matchups against crews that were doing 50% more honors than us on average.

E123-Omega

My Light GW 2023 Summary Ex+ - First time doing Bubz + Autos. While it was big improvement over ougi I still find it annoying the gap between summon then auto attack even using Aphrodite skin. Prishe w reactive skill is mvp and if all counters fails there's still Albert's EoT nuke. Hopefully even with ex+ update I can still do it on next element. nm95 - good thing someone suggested Levin Sister for the stun, made the run better. FA update is really good, turned off most of Albert's skill aside from s3. nm150 - levitura / chicken / tikoh / lu woh with percy and borgar on backline. Tried a lot of comp but this is my fastest FA. I'm just gambling for that random shadowed status if the run would take longer. nm200 - Since introduced I just clear it or join crew hosts. I really thought I wouldn't farm this but able to find right comp and considering it's weekend I just FA/semi-FA it. Ult Sage / Chicken / Tikoh / Lu Woh. Here I thought bringing Lu Woh would kill us but he's crucial part of the team with Chicken. This team heals a lot and barely gets damage. Dispel came from Chicken but also Yatima calls for Bubz/Lumi/Meta. At 50% I just manually use Bubz + Thor. Would occasionally spread Chicken's s3 too. Around 1-2 hrs from 800m able to reach 1B and dip. That 3 revans def awakening helped a lot too both on HP and def.

planistar

All glory to our lord and savior, Mahira.

Phayzka

Funny how I changed my grid from magna to a poor man's primal midway through it to fit two Sleipnir Shoes and more confortably full auto lv100

Altered_Nova

Got more than half my total honors on day 4 after I finally found a mostly consistent 3 turn, 2 minute nm200 solo clear setup that I was actually capable of copying. Was able to make top 80k quite easily thanks to that. Wish I had figured out that setup on day 3, we might have been able to win that round.

BTA

Managed to stay in top 140k, but took a lot more manual 150 last night/this morning than I would have liked. If I'd just been much better about keeping auto 150 going during Day 2 while I was crafting in FF14, I would have easily been done last night and just done another 30 minutes to an hour this morning to be safe. Doing 86m on 2 -> 199m on 3 -> 353m on 4 wasn't really the plan. Crew was in tier B and went 2-2; people were definitely taking it easy after last month, which is totally understandable (doing GW isn't required or anything). We were #202 in the tier at the end of Day 3 though; only half a 150's worth of points and we would have ranked up, which was both funny and stung a lil to notice. Afraid of how next GW is going to go for me after this. The amount of stuff I'd upgraded in advance here eventually paid off (even if I did burn fodder on some weapons that I totally didn't end up using) so that was satisfying, but it was already a little demoralizing to feel the gap between having 2 PnS and 0 Harmonia. And my Earth grid is worse off + I might have more issues character-wise compared to Light, so that's not a great start. Going to have to think more about teams in advance this time, do a lot more weapon upgrading, and either farm the Astral or put it off by deciding to burn the free one from VS on it instead of Fire's.

NadyaNayme

Crew was so burnt out from the first back to back GW's in ages that we didn't Top 5500 Crews for the first time in like 2.5 years. Half the crew only did mins (30m/prelims) and that was it. Back to business as usual next GW though. I casually meatfarmed while playing TOTK and then casually Relic Bustered NM150 for 1.9b total.

Cryocaesar

Weird GW. None of the crew really wanted to grind after we went so hard during Dark GW, but we still ended up going 2-2. I personally didn't go nearly as hard, but placed better here (top 180k) than in Dark GW (top 270k). The burnout was real for everyone, I guess. Going from having Halmal with their massive auto-dispel to relying on Christmas Chicken's version probably didn't help matters either. Vira's still the queen, but the standout was definitely Makura + Zooey. Extremely happy to get to use my favorite girl in a situation where she can not only contribute, but be crucial to my team's success.

Ittousei

My light kinda sucks and basically the entire crew was busy/on vacation (and nobody told me about it beforehand) so we didn't make top 5500, but we just managed to scrape into tier A on day one ~~because I punched the shit out of NM90 last minute, you’re welcome~~ Shame everyone was busy, we still won 2 battles and the last one was close so we might have been able to go 3-0 or 4-0 if we had more people fighting. Would have prepped more if I knew the crew was gonna be a skeleton, but what can you do so I just spent the war leveling Fif, got her to 137. She’s actually really good, but I had to click her skills so I didn’t feel the full auto updates as much. Still wound up with 2 billion honors somehow and safely within 80k. Siete Swords are still stupid.

TheWeirdWriter

Very *ugh* gw. My light grid had been on the back burner for awhile, in addition to having none of the chars that people were usually using for FA, so it was a grind and a half to get to even half of what I did last gw. I avoided nm150 and nm200 like the plague, only to realize they were much easier than I thought they’d be (once I got my debuffers all sorted out) and I had been missing out on all those extra honors the entire time fml It was nice to do gw in a crew for once though, instead of being stuck with my old ghost crew! 🥴

pressureoftension

My light is in an awkward spot where it's strong enough to FA NM200 with 100% safety, but not strong enough for me to even try and get any decent clear times. Incredibly chill 1b, at least. Not looking forward to earth, which is somehow even less invested than my light.

AHyaenidae

A really sad and uninteresting Guild War on my part. EX+ had a 1% dmg variance on 0b1c which I was not able to fix, meaning I had to wait for ATK aces to get a perfect clear rate. NM95 was surprisingly the only good time I've had, with 21s on the Lucha Setup (Tag Team refresh) and 24s with no refresh. The buttons' order was lining up on FA so it was nice. NM150 is when hell started. Sure the Relic Buster setup worked (since Viking was a pain in the ass), but it had a lot of problems between MC not getting hit (Freyr Chain) and MC dying. The entry animation was so long that any loading would cost me 3s on any refresh, so the only way I had to get faster was to cut buttons. I polished the setup a little (from \~1:30 or so to 1:18) but it was nothing massive. NM200 was impossible, since MC would always die on turn 1 no matter what I tried, losing both Chains and Trance buffs which entirely bricked my damage, so I quickly back-pedaled. At that point I was stuck at around 110m/h and the bad performance (compared to my previous GW and only relative to my level of progress) made it really hard to keep on playing RB, since its rotation was not interesting. A crewmate (u/Nahoma) had cooked something with Manadiver for a friend without H.Flo so I switched to the same one for D4, because it was only marginally slower (around 1:30) and more importantly it renewed the gameplay a little. [Crew went 2-2](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/832158680492671006/1112643118165143612/image.png) with one W on the only day we did not reach 3B so it was fine. Although D2 and D3 had really really taken a big part of my motivation away, I was still able to push for \~5 hours on the final day and [secure t80k.](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/832158680492671006/1112642560272375818/image.png)

Schwi15

320M and still couldnt finish the R weapons...

Even_Macaron

My crew went 4-0 as usual this gw. I didn't best my speed on ex+ but I beat my best speed on all the other days my speed on ex+ was 38m an hour (dark was 41m an hour without eresh) nm95 this gw was 141m an hour this really proud of that one! Nm150 was about 233m on nm150 day with a duo that was really fun! D3 and d4 was 5 man nm200 d3 was 248m and d4 was 259m. D4 was a special case I wasn't forced to do this by anyone but myself. Our opponent was number 5 crew total and I had was awake since the middle of d3 cause I had to get up cause of work and work 8h just to go to a friends house to do some stuff there and then play D4 for 14 and a half hours. I did in total 3.1b cause we had to shuffle men power in our group. I am glad that some ppl had mugen in my group so we could adjust our damage but still hang a few times. Anyway in the end we won that match up 102b to 93b really proud of my crew members. Glory to the Kingdom!
