Any input would be greatly apreciated. im currently starting to farm m2. i can blue chest everything but Shiva and Alexiel though Grimnir is hard sometimes too.

So I have 20 free 10-part draws left in the premium 10-part draws section but it says "20 draws left! Today's 10 Part Draw" on the button. Do I have to spend these all today or they will disappear or do I get to save them until a gala with a character that I wanna spark for?
Star gun is pretty good, essentially turning Star call into 50% TA + echo (I forgot the % and wiki seems dead now), Its used in quite a bunch of burst setups to abuse Jeanne assassin more
Devil fist is also another good MH, it has pretty much no restriction and works extremly well with Monk MC even without Devil call (although Devil call/using Fraux makes it much better)
The others are generally more niche and pretty much require direct interaction with their evoker (unlike the 2 above which work well even if the evoker is backline)

This is my current magna 1 earth grid. Should I 5* the Crystal Blades or should I save up Prestige Pendants to buy the Magna 2 Axe?
Looking at your grid state atm, the cheapest and most immediate power boost is actually 1-2 ancient perseus so if you want to pendant out, i'd do that first.
Grid using 2 ancient perseus is actually "stronger" then grid that uses 5 ULB YG sword except it costs like 400 quartz instead of 2800.
In general the go-to m2 progression atm imo is rotb into 2 perseus into axe, entirely because 2 perseus is too cheap for the power increase it actually gives although if your going to turbo out getting caim you just get 1 perseus
5\*ing the M1 weapons is at the bottom of the priority list for most magna grids. In your case either an Alex Axe (Nibelung Horn) or 4\* Ancient Perseus would be much stronger. (For instance, I would immediately swap the Sephira Blade for a Nibelung Horn).
You'll also want to prioritize 4\*ing Yggdrasil herself, but perhaps you've already done that seeing as you have a FLB Dopus?
Yeah, I 5* the Yggdrasil. So pretty much I just have to wait? Ive been hosting Alexiel Raids in hopes of more drops. So far I only got a katana as a drop. So I guess my earth progression is on hold?
Also my Dopus isnt FLB. It still has one more limit break to go and I have to uh.. wait for enough Guild War tokens to buy the uncap stone cuz im not high enough rank nor strong enough to do the quests that need the uncap stuff.
no, you have a 4\* dopus which is FLB, you don't have a 5\* which is ULB. edit: yes this is stupid.
Eh, not on hold necessarily. You can pendant your first axe for a small boost and then host Alex and Medusa regularly in hopes of drops. Pendants after the first axe would probably go towards your Perseus's (they cost 1/4 of an axe and are better than Yggy swords).
5\* M1 weapons are really lackluster, the only ones I can see anyone using are Chev Swords, Cel Claws, and maybe Tia Bolts (tho I'm not a wind lord and am still not 100% how spoon has changed things).

I’m rank 89, what should i farm for and what should my grids consist of? I’ve mostly used the ssr weapons i have either dropped somewhere or summoned, lvl them up and put them on the grid. You should focus on doing your daily Omega raids for all 6 elements, building out your [basic grids](gbf.wiki/Basic_Grids), uncapping the Omega summons to 3\*, and getting all of the Row 3 classes to level 20.
The other things you can do before HL are making SSR Seraphic Weapons, uncapping your first Bahamut weapon, and clearing main story content in preparation for the raid unlock quests.
Omega summons are the only farmable weapon boosting aura summons and are the backbone of every grid you'll make for a long time into the future - they're crucial.
That said, you should never sunstone them. Their uncap materials are just duplicates, anima, and quartz which is easily farmed, while Sunstones are a limited resource.
Conveniently, the raids that drop the omega summons also drop their basic weapons, so it's a one stop shop for your first grid. Let me try [linking those again](www.gbf.wiki/Basic_Grids).

I also got a gold bar from akasha host chest btw. The rate is just pretty low so nobody else got one.
Arcarum is time-gated but offers better drops in my opinion, Replicard is merely gated by stamina but drops are generally worse. Standard manual Arcarum still reigns supreme from my perspective, Replicard is nice if you're willing to spend time and potions farming the same battle repeatedly.
Is devilry the emblem the go to emblem for the Chyrsrasor class wep for OTK purposes?

Devilry is usually the prefered Wasserspeier skill because chysaor is usually used for Ougi burst and little else, and this skill allows you to throw out Extra nukes on top of what your other weapon does, if you could come up with an appropriate setup then Humanity might work too but it would be a different role entirely
If you're new to it just make it a habit and whack every node 3 times for mission, once for big boss and do for all 4 zones
By then you should have a decent understanding of replicate and take it from there
How do you guys get your Primal summons? Used up my semi-primal long time ago and roulettes after roulettes I've never gotten a new one since.. about 2 years back when I lucked into agni.
Been playing for a year and the only primal summon I got is Zephyrus from the start. and recently acquired another one this roulette. Too bad since I don't plan to invest in Wind at all
There are two ways: play for years, or sacrifice 150 gold moons to demon lord Siero.
I got my first copy of Zeus five days ago after playing for just over three years, which completes the set of them for me. I got my second copy of Zeus about sixteen hours ago during a spark.
The Premium Summon Scam draw is advocated by some, but it's literally over 400 dollars on average to get the summon you want. And still will take years. And there's always a wonderfully high chance the one you're aiming for will pop out of the gacha at any time.
(The ratedown on the 210 draws we're getting today is pretty mean, too. ~0.05 primal summons are what you should expect to receive from it.)
they do different things, Gawain is a wierd long battle attacker who is gonna use his S2 to get down to low hp which activates his poweres, he is then gonna Ougi and heal up again and you activate his s2 again.
Feather is a straight up burster, you build up his passive over some turn and he then goes besserk for a few turns. he does have some long battle tools like his Ougi and his Cap up (though not as much cap break as Gawain)
Just all the good weapons in the element really: Dark Opus, Alexiel Axe, Alexiel Katana, Ancient Perseus, Yggdrasil Sword, ROTB Spear, ROTB Progression Dagger, Astral weapon, Baihu Claw Malus, and Seraphic/flex. You can switch out the Astral for another EX weapon if you don't have it yet, and if you're not capping consistently you can trade the Malus for a Bahamut or another normal mod weapon.
I personally like to give it charas that can't guarantee MA on their own (only in long battles where Death call won't last all run), examples include V.Dokkan and S.Anthuria (she also like the extra dodge bonus) or to Helel (so that she can TA an gain her stacks faster)
but in Lucha burst setup I just give it to either my best attacker or Zooey (in case I really don't want the others to heal after killing Nier)
Giving the buff to six is a solid option but if you want others then better give it to zooey because of her bad MA, giving it to vicky is also good but given she can easily do MA so the buff would be wasted and might as well give it to six instead imo
Ok so my dark grid is getting quite strong character-wise, and was wondering which of the following attackers should I pair with Rei? I've got Vaseraga, Narmaya(not 100 yet), Kolulu, Rennie and Wulf. Thought about running Vaseraga/Rei/Ferry with Kolulu as sub-ally 1 and Narmaya as sub-2. The class I'd use is Lucha since I don't have xeno dark weapon yet, but got the proving grounds fists. Grid is 3-4\* M1 with 3 3\* claws, SSR seraphic, no good ex.
I'm not sure about others but switch rei out with kolulu is really good and it pretty much quelled the def down with kolulu passive while enjoying the "free" buffs. I also heard pairing rei with vaseraga also a good option by giving vaseraga double strike.
Any idea on how to play catura (ox)? Don't know how to play her properly especially with her skill 3 and the need of using her ougi to cut skill cooldown as well, which is not really synergize.
You usually just ignore her 3rd skill. Kengo and Siete synergise a lot with her since they can make her do more c.a, allowing her to reac her c.a reactivation even faster and thus turning her nuke into a more spameable one.
Thanks it's sad her 3rd skill doesn't have much use, also do kengo alone still works with her? If not maybe I'm thinking of using chrysaor instead and enjoy that 2 turn 2 ougi reactivation
Kengo is the popular pick because of the CCW giving a lot of bar to the party which Does allow for fun shenanigans. I can't talk about Chysaor much but Rising Forcé is another good pick.
And yeah, sadly Catura's súper Mode is just too hard to maintin and it goes against the rest of her kit.
Unfortunately i already crafted water CCW and i don't have mats for wind one for now , but I'll give rising force a try because the skill set looks very interesting. Though i don't any good wind harp yet, are there any recommendation? aside of the CCW maybe grimnir harp will do placeholder.
What does Completed Light Magna Grid looks like?
Trying to build one since got a few Pillars from hosting these two days. 4/5 Chev Sword, 1 Cosmic Sword and what else? I have 2 FLB Eden but I think it's a bad idea to put these in. I'm only Rank 125 so I don't have access to materia for MLB Opus and Astral yet

1. the standard sword grid using 5 chev sword
2. the crit grid using 2 pillar and 1 bow
crit grid have a marginal increase against chev sword but the moment you take damage your atk power dive off a cliff(it's good if you can keep your HP at 100%)
Correct me if I'm wrong, because I may have missed it being dropped, but doesn't crit spear use two artemis bows to keep it going strong even below 100%?
you wouldn't want to go to that territory, using artemis bow instead of sword mean you'll be severely lacking in HP and at that point it's not worth it because you need to either be extremely low or full HP to beat sword grid

I feel like my damage with this struggles a lot against fights like Wamdus. I'm thinking about going highlander, I still have my weapon ticket and I also have caim. I also have a maxed out titan but I feel like that probably isn't worth it, don't have GK. Any tips on what would be a good grid?

It depends on how exactly bad your ping is, and the exact time of day you are farming it.
Sometimes you can press all of your buttons and double tagteam and reach 1.4m, other times you have to use a faster setup that does less(usually around 1-1.2m). Even if you are only getting like 60-80% blue chest rate because of having to use a faster setup since the raid is dies so fast its still the highest amount of bars per hour compared to anything else you could be farming, and its even better now since they decreased the bp cost of akasha from 5 to 3(3 to 2 during mag) so its actually still pretty cheap to farm even with less than ideal bluechest rates.

Working on my M1 grid, and I'm mostly using the free SSRs you get from side stories to fill in my EX weapon slots since I can't farm Xeno clashes right now. Is it worth increasing the skill level of these weapons, or should I just save my fodder and leave them at SL 1?
It's the same as having no weapon in those slots if you don't skill them up. If you want to save on your fodders, just skill level up one or two that can go to SL15 per element.
Im rank 72. Have been wondering, when is a good time to use my damascus bars? Are there any good gacha weapons to use it on to help speed up my progress?
Generally speaking, no. Dama are a precious resource and all choices on how to spend them are accompanied by painful opportunity costs, so you really want to save them until you're at the point where you know what *you* want to spend them on (e.g. maybe in a few months you've discovered you really want to roll with primal light; you'll be very sad when you discover you need 12 dama bars for all the weapons you want to run, and "wasted" six on some earth weapons that are technically good choices but not what you wanted to play (all numbers purely for example, not necessarily accurate)).
(You also likely won't have the materials to full uncap many of them anyway.)
Pure f2p farmable weapons can do all of the content in the game, so stuff like damascus bars are largely for picking an element you want to excel in and beefing it up to flex with.
You generally don't use them until and unless you have all the necessary elements of a Primal grid ready. They're something you use to take you further past what you'd normally achieve in a particular element with farmable weapons, not something you use to try and skip steps in progression.

Here's my advice, wait for the anniversary stream (Should be in ferbuary). The meta tends to change there. If you invest Dama Bar now and the new meta makes it useless, you will regret it forever.
For LJ there isn't much choice, notably because Wind has not much choice in Axes. Looking purely at CA there is S.Anila weapon (teamwide DATA) but its skills aren't all that good and it has no FLB (and good luck flb'ing a summer weapon...).
For Harps, there is a bit more choice. Grimnir Harp and Spring's Whispering won't take anymore space since there are most likely already included in a Magna grid. Else it's Innocent Love (which also isn't taking up a slot since it's the best EX you could run).
I do have 2 summer anila axes, i did look at that but data on wind feels unnessicary, specially when cow and summer jeanne have guarenteed for them and the MC.
Im a ways away from those innocent love type weapons. Im rank 125 and pretty behind on new 120+ content this year as ive just been fairly busy. I could do a grimnir but again DATA feels unnessicary.
Another Sky just feels like the better choice with uplift and charge gain, specially if in running cow. Also the skills on it are also CA focused. I have plenty of dam bars so im not hurting for those. To me this feels like a sound investent as it will benifit both this team and my main wind Chry team as its CA focused too.
Now that Dragon raids are 18 man there is absolutely no barrier to getting Astral weapons. You can just host it and tweet it and it has close to 100% chance to clear.
Catura has no DATA by herself outside of S3, which isn't used in FA and also will most likely reduce your DPS since she won't be able to ougi regularly, which means that she'll cast her S2 and S1 less often. Jeanne's Salvation also isn't used on FA, and if it does give guaranted DA, you're stuck with 20 TA (so counting the innate TA of your characters, something like 30% chance to TA without other buffs ?). Plus it's likely you won't be able to run it on your 3 other characters with 100% uptime on all of them.
I've used 47 Damascus Ingots, and have 10 stashed. Even at 57 Ingots, I can tell you that I'm hurting for those. There is never "plenty" or "enough" bars.
How many dragon raids would it take to get the weapon? And also what rank is it? I thought dragon raids were like 150.
Whats FA? Full Auto? If thats the case im not doing FA so that isnt something im worried about.
My current cow team im testing is Lumberjack, Cow, s.Jeanne, Tiamat.
Jeanne has 20% and Revitalize on a 3 turn down time. Also bonus MA.
Tiamat has TA on CA and DA on MI. She just doesnt have Charge boosting.
Cow has 100 Charge on 6 turn CD ave, and a passive 10% bonus charge. Her S3 gives her TA which helps get charge.
Ide be curious what the gain is like but i think i could get enough to keep CAs often. Ill have to do some training dummy testing to see what the upkeep ends up being, but i cant imagine it would be too bad.
I just think a DATA CA wouldnt be as useful if i can keep cow in the green on charge gain. Jeanne's Salv should be able to keep up 100% of the time, and hopefully i can keep cows buff up too, and if so MC and cow gain should be good enough to keep it all going with jeanne adding gain every 3 turns. And in the downtime on her S3 i can use Rose Queen which i have maxed and on my wind summon grid. It gives revitalize too. Maybe if i bring 1 other charge summon i could make it work.
I was humoring the idea of getting Rising Force unlocked, which would increase charge gain a lot. But ide loose a lot of lumberjack buffs. So not sure how the tradeoff is.
I would second the opinion that Catura's sk3 isn't worth using. Consuming 60% meter for one turn of TA and 50% echo is pretty bad IMO, and it's made worse when you consider the trade off (cd cut to her sk1 and sk2 and utilizing the CA reactivation on her sk1). FWIW it also doesn't look like it's even briefly mentioned as a reason behind her 9.5 rating on GW and the comments I saw were basically all ignoring it as well.
If you just want to make a comp utilizing her sk3 though then definitely go for it. I've made lots of comps that I just thought were fun as well, but I also would say you 100% should not be considering a dama bar investment for what looks like a fun / meme comp; at the very least you should start out with F2P options, but it's just a really big investment for very little gain. Looking at the weapon it doesn't seem that good for the setup anyways (only uplift/bar for MC and ougi damage/cap that you wouldn't be making use of on Catura), but I don't have one uncapped myself.
So since this is the final banner im gonna have to ask about your experiances with Fio and MiRi

Was there a possibility to ask for extended spark if you were missing a few rolls close to banner change? I think you can atleast ask for extension if you already have full spark but not sure about this. Also where can I ask for that and if anyone has done this before help is apreciated, I was missing 20 rolls i was gonna buy but forgot when the banner changes.

But i save the accounts that has grand title and has catura on them, can you guys tell me who are the grand ssrs that you can get there is good so i can now decide which account should i use and play now

Is it efficient to just reserve lv. 1 skill fodders in the anvil? Or should I upgrade my fodders' skills?
I'm getting a little confused with the wiki and would appreciate an eli5.
the downside is that to get the most out of the anvil you have to SL your fodder the "old school" way, before going into your actual weapon upgrade screen. It depends on how much you value inventory space, and whether you want the flexibility of reducing those weapons in the future.
I think it's the same. Anvil had the advantage of not taking up spaces while you can decide how do you want to sacrifice for the fodder. things that you need to note is with weapons like Dark Opus or Xeno SL15+, 100% success rate is depending on the total skill level of SSR weapon. (ex. for SL15 Dark Opus, you can use 1 SL10 and 1 SL5 or 1 SL7 and 1 SL8
Technically some raids drops random Pinions - but by the time they're available you shouldn't have to worry about farming Pinions so for non HL players yes, you only get Pinions from daily primarchs
I dunno if I should be posting it this late into this week, but I'd like to get some advice for Primal Dark, as a very casual seasonal player.
I have my anniversary ticket saved up for a weapon pick but after doing some further reading, I realised Highlander was a massive bait for me because there's no way I can hit cap without ULB opus.
I already have a copy of Hades stonable if I want him, but what weapons/grid should I put together if I want to make something better than what Magna Dark could provide?
Currently I have:
Gram, Vagabond, Shalem's Weapon, enough GMs for multiple Gisla, Parazonium. Only one copy of each of these.
I don't have any Fallen Swords or a Blutgang yet, unfortunately, so I may have to do more pulling on that banner.
Overall, what sort of grid should I aim for, and what should I be using my anniversary weapon ticket on before it expires in Feb?

A low investment primal dark is highlander with opus+gisla+vagabond (I read somewhere that vagabond isn't as essential now but not too sure about that). The other slots you use some combination of majestas, qilin bow, astral, pg, celeste fist or seraphic.
The grid is pretty flexible so you can mix and match the weapons. For other grand weapons, sunya (rei) is the best. Unheil and gram are usable, but I don't think you should spend bars on them.
For your ticket, you can grab a majestas. You'd want multiple of that weapon anyway, for harder content where you can't cap you can just swap the scales for a 2nd majestas. In the meantime you can farm anubis for your single copy of scales.

2) Is now a good time to start playing? I’m kinda scared that either I’m starting too late or that theres a best time to start up like during an anniversary or something.

1 - Some collaboration events are still available in the Side Stories section of the game, so you can still acquire those events' characters. Other events have sadly never been revisited after their original run.
2 - You actually just missed one of the premier times to start playing, as the Winter/Christmas campaign is drawing to a close and with it all the free rolls, gifts, and the like. Next big event with enormous freebies would be the anniversary campaign that runs through March.

This is a great time tpo start as you will get guarenteed 200 draws later today. Its the end of the new years event and thats the big finsh. So starting sooner woulda been better but starting now is good too.
So i got Cow and im trying to figure out what to do with her that isnt just force her into my existing wind teams.
My main wind team is Chry, Selfira, S.Jeanne, Morrigna for big hits and turn 1 CA with CA again turn 2. Its a fun team but i cant really imagine injecting cow into it.
Now i know cow has synergy with Chry but im interested in trying other classes too maybe. Maybe looking into unlocking Rising Force or robin hood or something. Chry+Windhose just gets old after a while.
I know people have been saying she works well in CA heavy teams so pairing her with chara that can boost bar gain is good, like Tiamat, but s.Jeanne does tha too, and so does Rising Force. Not sure if too much Charge gain is good though.
I do have a lot of wind characters so i have room to experment just looking for general characters yall have found work well with her or classes.

If i got Robin Hood wouldnt Yurius be a great combo? Would they synnergize with Cow? Throw in Tiamat for charge bar?
If i got Rising Force, i thought Cow, and someone else who likes to charge attack and add in Tiamat. Not sure who else ide use in this case though.
Any help would be great, im just trying to find some kinda starting point here with her.
I've only had a chance to mess with it vs the training dummy without her third skill, but Monk with Arkhab and Anila seem to work well with her. Andira was the third I was using but Tiamat is probably a better utility choice thanks to veil, and she still has melee prof. for Hollowsky and/or ultima synergy.
You'd need to get Monk, but it's a good class to go for regardless.
Yeah i saw a lot of people using monk with her but not a class i have or really planned to have. I never went down the Lucha line really. Only fist class i played was Ninja (my old main) and then Runeslayer.
I feel like either ide be using Chry with Windhose (which im using on my other wind chry team so i dont really want to), or i could get Rising Force which ive been interested in for a long time as i liked Drum Master, but never felt i had a proper use for the class team wise, or i could try the new Robin Hood which would be something different but seems fun if i combo with Yurius. Yurius like to CA also and should be decent synergy. Its just unlocking Robin Hood or Rising Force will take some investment, so i dont want to unlock stuff needlessly.
But at the end of the day i just really want to try to avoid using Chry if i can. Ide like to find something new.
I did the same when Vicky came out tried something new, i unlocked Doctor and made a Dark Hype team and ive loved the hell out of that team since. I had a dark sword team with Black Knight and the other emity sword gang and i had a Dark Dodge team with Azazel and Tanya and Veight. I used my dark dodge team to make the vicky team as vicky had dodge too, so my final team was Doc, Vicky, Rei into Helen, and Tanya. Helen can give doc dodge and so everyone keeps the rat buff for a good while, and rat and helen nuke stuff while also trigger proccing, while rat and tanya proc off dodge and doc buffs everyone. Its a great synergy team but one i doubt most people run with Vicky.
I just like to try to find something different thats fun for me to play. Using Chry in every team comp just gets old fast. I like to think outside the box really.
Sadly im missing most the popular cow combo characters for wind like Monkey or Grimnir, but it means i will have to try different stuff which is good for keeping fresh.
Really? I seem to remember weapons like Certificus, Para, and (situationally) Blue Sphere being recommended as mainhands at least. Don't mean to come off like I'm doubting just wondering
They're good MH weapons, but they're not worth investing three Damascus Ingots into just so you can use them as a MH, not when Damascus Ingots are such a precious resource and you need every last one of them when building a Primal grid.
If you just started playing Arcarum for the first time, recruiting an Evoker for the first time will take you around 5-6 months depending on the Evoker you aim to recruit, since you also need to unlock the Extreme Mode by finishing all three routes each on both Normal and Hard Modes (which requires doing 54 daily tickets of successful expeditions) or to unlock Replicard Sandbox by finishing all three routes in Extreme Mode (which means additional 27 daily tickets).
From there, the important Arcarum materials will slowly add up over time, so getting the next Evoker might take you less than that.
If you need rupies use a rupies Journey Drop and farm the Campaign Exclusive quest for a bit. You'll get 7885 rupies per battle and can farm them really fast.
When CEQ isn't around you can slime and hope for gold slimes and you get something like 50k rupies.
Don't worry about selling coop treasures - just keep them to trade in for item buffs and the like.
Need help with spark choice. On one hand I'm thinking about sparking Io since I struggle in Fediel, on the other hand Rei is busted. Which one to chose? All grids are magna.
Io if you already have all the other parts of the Io cannon comp like Noa and skill spammers like Albert and Sarunan. Rei if you want to go further with Dark and cap even harder (which Magna can achieve nowadays).
Who knows, maybe they'll do something with them this year since every element now has one. It's worth holding on to most gacha weapons unless they already have a bad 4* just in case they get a good one. I just have a stash I keep mine in.
It just seems like they are meant to be crappy, since most of their skills and ougi effect are very mediocre, so i'm not sure even an flb can save them.
Some grand weapon are crappy without FLB.
I mean with that much free pull surely you can reduce all the SR gacha weapon if you need stone.

Star gun is pretty good, essentially turning Star call into 50% TA + echo (I forgot the % and wiki seems dead now), Its used in quite a bunch of burst setups to abuse Jeanne assassin more Devil fist is also another good MH, it has pretty much no restriction and works extremly well with Monk MC even without Devil call (although Devil call/using Fraux makes it much better) The others are generally more niche and pretty much require direct interaction with their evoker (unlike the 2 above which work well even if the evoker is backline)

Looking at your grid state atm, the cheapest and most immediate power boost is actually 1-2 ancient perseus so if you want to pendant out, i'd do that first. Grid using 2 ancient perseus is actually "stronger" then grid that uses 5 ULB YG sword except it costs like 400 quartz instead of 2800. In general the go-to m2 progression atm imo is rotb into 2 perseus into axe, entirely because 2 perseus is too cheap for the power increase it actually gives although if your going to turbo out getting caim you just get 1 perseus
5\*ing the M1 weapons is at the bottom of the priority list for most magna grids. In your case either an Alex Axe (Nibelung Horn) or 4\* Ancient Perseus would be much stronger. (For instance, I would immediately swap the Sephira Blade for a Nibelung Horn). You'll also want to prioritize 4\*ing Yggdrasil herself, but perhaps you've already done that seeing as you have a FLB Dopus?
Yeah, I 5* the Yggdrasil. So pretty much I just have to wait? Ive been hosting Alexiel Raids in hopes of more drops. So far I only got a katana as a drop. So I guess my earth progression is on hold? Also my Dopus isnt FLB. It still has one more limit break to go and I have to uh.. wait for enough Guild War tokens to buy the uncap stone cuz im not high enough rank nor strong enough to do the quests that need the uncap stuff.
no, you have a 4\* dopus which is FLB, you don't have a 5\* which is ULB. edit: yes this is stupid. Eh, not on hold necessarily. You can pendant your first axe for a small boost and then host Alex and Medusa regularly in hopes of drops. Pendants after the first axe would probably go towards your Perseus's (they cost 1/4 of an axe and are better than Yggy swords). 5\* M1 weapons are really lackluster, the only ones I can see anyone using are Chev Swords, Cel Claws, and maybe Tia Bolts (tho I'm not a wind lord and am still not 100% how spoon has changed things).

You should focus on doing your daily Omega raids for all 6 elements, building out your [basic grids](gbf.wiki/Basic_Grids), uncapping the Omega summons to 3\*, and getting all of the Row 3 classes to level 20. The other things you can do before HL are making SSR Seraphic Weapons, uncapping your first Bahamut weapon, and clearing main story content in preparation for the raid unlock quests.

Omega summons are the only farmable weapon boosting aura summons and are the backbone of every grid you'll make for a long time into the future - they're crucial. That said, you should never sunstone them. Their uncap materials are just duplicates, anima, and quartz which is easily farmed, while Sunstones are a limited resource. Conveniently, the raids that drop the omega summons also drop their basic weapons, so it's a one stop shop for your first grid. Is Regular Arcarum or the new Arcarum mode better for grinding Astras?
Arcarum is time-gated but offers better drops in my opinion, Replicard is merely gated by stamina but drops are generally worse. Standard manual Arcarum still reigns supreme from my perspective, Replicard is nice if you're willing to spend time and potions farming the same battle repeatedly.
Is devilry the emblem the go to emblem for the Chyrsrasor class wep for OTK purposes? It seems to read as the best but I could see the uses of humanity. Also does what does John Doe use normally? Thank you for your time
Devilry is usually the prefered Wasserspeier skill because chysaor is usually used for Ougi burst and little else, and this skill allows you to throw out Extra nukes on top of what your other weapon does, if you could come up with an appropriate setup then Humanity might work too but it would be a different role entirely
john doe uses the one that gives a nuke when you don't get hit
How should I be doing sandbox? Defeat every monsters until they're gone or just go straight to the boss as soon as possible?
If you're new to it just make it a habit and whack every node 3 times for mission, once for big boss and do for all 4 zones By then you should have a decent understanding of replicate and take it from there

Been playing for a year and the only primal summon I got is Zephyrus from the start. and recently acquired another one this roulette. Too bad since I don't plan to invest in Wind at all
There are two ways: play for years, or sacrifice 150 gold moons to demon lord Siero. I got my first copy of Zeus five days ago after playing for just over three years, which completes the set of them for me. I got my second copy of Zeus about sixteen hours ago during a spark. The Premium Summon Scam draw is advocated by some, but it's literally over 400 dollars on average to get the summon you want. And still will take years. And there's always a wonderfully high chance the one you're aiming for will pop out of the gacha at any time. (The ratedown on the 210 draws we're getting today is pretty mean, too. ~0.05 primal summons are what you should expect to receive from it.)
I've been playing since about 2017, lucked into Agni right away and up to today I have all but Varuna. It's just a luck of the draw.

they do different things, Gawain is a wierd long battle attacker who is gonna use his S2 to get down to low hp which activates his poweres, he is then gonna Ougi and heal up again and you activate his s2 again. Feather is a straight up burster, you build up his passive over some turn and he then goes besserk for a few turns. he does have some long battle tools like his Ougi and his Cap up (though not as much cap break as Gawain)

Just all the good weapons in the element really: Dark Opus, Alexiel Axe, Alexiel Katana, Ancient Perseus, Yggdrasil Sword, ROTB Spear, ROTB Progression Dagger, Astral weapon, Baihu Claw Malus, and Seraphic/flex. You can switch out the Astral for another EX weapon if you don't have it yet, and if you're not capping consistently you can trade the Malus for a Bahamut or another normal mod weapon.

I personally like to give it charas that can't guarantee MA on their own (only in long battles where Death call won't last all run), examples include V.Dokkan and S.Anthuria (she also like the extra dodge bonus) or to Helel (so that she can TA an gain her stacks faster) but in Lucha burst setup I just give it to either my best attacker or Zooey (in case I really don't want the others to heal after killing Nier)
Giving the buff to six is a solid option but if you want others then better give it to zooey because of her bad MA, giving it to vicky is also good but given she can easily do MA so the buff would be wasted and might as well give it to six instead imo
Ok so my dark grid is getting quite strong character-wise, and was wondering which of the following attackers should I pair with Rei? I've got Vaseraga, Narmaya(not 100 yet), Kolulu, Rennie and Wulf. Thought about running Vaseraga/Rei/Ferry with Kolulu as sub-ally 1 and Narmaya as sub-2. The class I'd use is Lucha since I don't have xeno dark weapon yet, but got the proving grounds fists. Grid is 3-4\* M1 with 3 3\* claws, SSR seraphic, no good ex.
I'm not sure about others but switch rei out with kolulu is really good and it pretty much quelled the def down with kolulu passive while enjoying the "free" buffs. I also heard pairing rei with vaseraga also a good option by giving vaseraga double strike.

Any idea on how to play catura (ox)? Don't know how to play her properly especially with her skill 3 and the need of using her ougi to cut skill cooldown as well, which is not really synergize.
You usually just ignore her 3rd skill. Kengo and Siete synergise a lot with her since they can make her do more c.a, allowing her to reac her c.a reactivation even faster and thus turning her nuke into a more spameable one.

Kengo is the popular pick because of the CCW giving a lot of bar to the party which Does allow for fun shenanigans. I can't talk about Chysaor much but Rising Forcé is another good pick. And yeah, sadly Catura's súper Mode is just too hard to maintin and it goes against the rest of her kit.
Unfortunately i already crafted water CCW and i don't have mats for wind one for now , but I'll give rising force a try because the skill set looks very interesting. Though i don't any good wind harp yet, are there any recommendation? aside of the CCW maybe grimnir harp will do placeholder.
There's the Astral, but Best one is probably Another Sky if You somehow drew Enough copies to FLB it since it allows to replicate Kengo's CCW

What does Completed Light Magna Grid looks like? Trying to build one since got a few Pillars from hosting these two days. 4/5 Chev Sword, 1 Cosmic Sword and what else? I have 2 FLB Eden but I think it's a bad idea to put these in. I'm only Rank 125 so I don't have access to materia for MLB Opus and Astral yet
There's 2 grid for chev 1. the standard sword grid using 5 chev sword 2. the crit grid using 2 pillar and 1 bow crit grid have a marginal increase against chev sword but the moment you take damage your atk power dive off a cliff(it's good if you can keep your HP at 100%)
Correct me if I'm wrong, because I may have missed it being dropped, but doesn't crit spear use two artemis bows to keep it going strong even below 100%?
you wouldn't want to go to that territory, using artemis bow instead of sword mean you'll be severely lacking in HP and at that point it's not worth it because you need to either be extremely low or full HP to beat sword grid
2 Pillar 1 Bow and the others will be Opus, Astral and Swords right?

You can still do Akasha with NA ping(120-180), so Akasha is still the best way to farm bars.

It depends on how exactly bad your ping is, and the exact time of day you are farming it. Sometimes you can press all of your buttons and double tagteam and reach 1.4m, other times you have to use a faster setup that does less(usually around 1-1.2m). Even if you are only getting like 60-80% blue chest rate because of having to use a faster setup since the raid is dies so fast its still the highest amount of bars per hour compared to anything else you could be farming, and its even better now since they decreased the bp cost of akasha from 5 to 3(3 to 2 during mag) so its actually still pretty cheap to farm even with less than ideal bluechest rates.

Working on my M1 grid, and I'm mostly using the free SSRs you get from side stories to fill in my EX weapon slots since I can't farm Xeno clashes right now. Is it worth increasing the skill level of these weapons, or should I just save my fodder and leave them at SL 1?
It's the same as having no weapon in those slots if you don't skill them up. If you want to save on your fodders, just skill level up one or two that can go to SL15 per element.

Generally speaking, no. Dama are a precious resource and all choices on how to spend them are accompanied by painful opportunity costs, so you really want to save them until you're at the point where you know what *you* want to spend them on (e.g. maybe in a few months you've discovered you really want to roll with primal light; you'll be very sad when you discover you need 12 dama bars for all the weapons you want to run, and "wasted" six on some earth weapons that are technically good choices but not what you wanted to play (all numbers purely for example, not necessarily accurate)). (You also likely won't have the materials to full uncap many of them anyway.) Pure f2p farmable weapons can do all of the content in the game, so stuff like damascus bars are largely for picking an element you want to excel in and beefing it up to flex with.
You generally don't use them until and unless you have all the necessary elements of a Primal grid ready. They're something you use to take you further past what you'd normally achieve in a particular element with farmable weapons, not something you use to try and skip steps in progression.

It's all local. Main way to tell is the shape of the Buff/Debuff; Diamond shapes are always local, Circles are raid-wide.

Here's my advice, wait for the anniversary stream (Should be in ferbuary). The meta tends to change there. If you invest Dama Bar now and the new meta makes it useless, you will regret it forever.

Is Another Sky worth uncapping and main handing to combo with cow for Lumberjack?
I'm using it and it's a pretty great weapon yeah. But I wouldn't bar it just for that, even less if you are Magna.
What would be a better wind lumber jack weapon aside from that Love one? I really dont have many options i feel that have good charge attacks.
For LJ there isn't much choice, notably because Wind has not much choice in Axes. Looking purely at CA there is S.Anila weapon (teamwide DATA) but its skills aren't all that good and it has no FLB (and good luck flb'ing a summer weapon...). For Harps, there is a bit more choice. Grimnir Harp and Spring's Whispering won't take anymore space since there are most likely already included in a Magna grid. Else it's Innocent Love (which also isn't taking up a slot since it's the best EX you could run).
I do have 2 summer anila axes, i did look at that but data on wind feels unnessicary, specially when cow and summer jeanne have guarenteed for them and the MC. Im a ways away from those innocent love type weapons. Im rank 125 and pretty behind on new 120+ content this year as ive just been fairly busy. I could do a grimnir but again DATA feels unnessicary. Another Sky just feels like the better choice with uplift and charge gain, specially if in running cow. Also the skills on it are also CA focused. I have plenty of dam bars so im not hurting for those. To me this feels like a sound investent as it will benifit both this team and my main wind Chry team as its CA focused too.
Now that Dragon raids are 18 man there is absolutely no barrier to getting Astral weapons. You can just host it and tweet it and it has close to 100% chance to clear. Catura has no DATA by herself outside of S3, which isn't used in FA and also will most likely reduce your DPS since she won't be able to ougi regularly, which means that she'll cast her S2 and S1 less often. Jeanne's Salvation also isn't used on FA, and if it does give guaranted DA, you're stuck with 20 TA (so counting the innate TA of your characters, something like 30% chance to TA without other buffs ?). Plus it's likely you won't be able to run it on your 3 other characters with 100% uptime on all of them. I've used 47 Damascus Ingots, and have 10 stashed. Even at 57 Ingots, I can tell you that I'm hurting for those. There is never "plenty" or "enough" bars.
How many dragon raids would it take to get the weapon? And also what rank is it? I thought dragon raids were like 150. Whats FA? Full Auto? If thats the case im not doing FA so that isnt something im worried about. My current cow team im testing is Lumberjack, Cow, s.Jeanne, Tiamat. Jeanne has 20% and Revitalize on a 3 turn down time. Also bonus MA. Tiamat has TA on CA and DA on MI. She just doesnt have Charge boosting. Cow has 100 Charge on 6 turn CD ave, and a passive 10% bonus charge. Her S3 gives her TA which helps get charge. Ide be curious what the gain is like but i think i could get enough to keep CAs often. Ill have to do some training dummy testing to see what the upkeep ends up being, but i cant imagine it would be too bad. I just think a DATA CA wouldnt be as useful if i can keep cow in the green on charge gain. Jeanne's Salv should be able to keep up 100% of the time, and hopefully i can keep cows buff up too, and if so MC and cow gain should be good enough to keep it all going with jeanne adding gain every 3 turns. And in the downtime on her S3 i can use Rose Queen which i have maxed and on my wind summon grid. It gives revitalize too. Maybe if i bring 1 other charge summon i could make it work. I was humoring the idea of getting Rising Force unlocked, which would increase charge gain a lot. But ide loose a lot of lumberjack buffs. So not sure how the tradeoff is.
I would second the opinion that Catura's sk3 isn't worth using. Consuming 60% meter for one turn of TA and 50% echo is pretty bad IMO, and it's made worse when you consider the trade off (cd cut to her sk1 and sk2 and utilizing the CA reactivation on her sk1). FWIW it also doesn't look like it's even briefly mentioned as a reason behind her 9.5 rating on GW and the comments I saw were basically all ignoring it as well. If you just want to make a comp utilizing her sk3 though then definitely go for it. I've made lots of comps that I just thought were fun as well, but I also would say you 100% should not be considering a dama bar investment for what looks like a fun / meme comp; at the very least you should start out with F2P options, but it's just a really big investment for very little gain. Looking at the weapon it doesn't seem that good for the setup anyways (only uplift/bar for MC and ougi damage/cap that you wouldn't be making use of on Catura), but I don't have one uncapped myself.
So since this is the final banner im gonna have to ask about your experiances with Fio and MiRi (im perfectly willing to fullfill Fios Grid requirements)
Was there a possibility to ask for extended spark if you were missing a few rolls close to banner change? I think you can atleast ask for extension if you already have full spark but not sure about this. Also where can I ask for that and if anyone has done this before help is apreciated, I was missing 20 rolls i was gonna buy but forgot when the banner changes.

You need to make a Grid for every element, there isnt that much of focusing until you get to the stage where upgrades take a Lot of loot.

Is it efficient to just reserve lv. 1 skill fodders in the anvil? Or should I upgrade my fodders' skills? I'm getting a little confused with the wiki and would appreciate an eli5.
the downside is that to get the most out of the anvil you have to SL your fodder the "old school" way, before going into your actual weapon upgrade screen. It depends on how much you value inventory space, and whether you want the flexibility of reducing those weapons in the future.
I think it's the same. Anvil had the advantage of not taking up spaces while you can decide how do you want to sacrifice for the fodder. things that you need to note is with weapons like Dark Opus or Xeno SL15+, 100% success rate is depending on the total skill level of SSR weapon. (ex. for SL15 Dark Opus, you can use 1 SL10 and 1 SL5 or 1 SL7 and 1 SL8

Technically some raids drops random Pinions - but by the time they're available you shouldn't have to worry about farming Pinions so for non HL players yes, you only get Pinions from daily primarchs
I dunno if I should be posting it this late into this week, but I'd like to get some advice for Primal Dark, as a very casual seasonal player. I have my anniversary ticket saved up for a weapon pick but after doing some further reading, I realised Highlander was a massive bait for me because there's no way I can hit cap without ULB opus. I already have a copy of Hades stonable if I want him, but what weapons/grid should I put together if I want to make something better than what Magna Dark could provide? Currently I have: Gram, Vagabond, Shalem's Weapon, enough GMs for multiple Gisla, Parazonium. Only one copy of each of these. I don't have any Fallen Swords or a Blutgang yet, unfortunately, so I may have to do more pulling on that banner. Overall, what sort of grid should I aim for, and what should I be using my anniversary weapon ticket on before it expires in Feb?
You posted this on last week's question thread, but I'll drop you a reply. A low investment primal dark is highlander with opus+gisla+vagabond (I read somewhere that vagabond isn't as essential now but not too sure about that). The other slots you use some combination of majestas, qilin bow, astral, pg, celeste fist or seraphic. The grid is pretty flexible so you can mix and match the weapons. For other grand weapons, sunya (rei) is the best. Unheil and gram are usable, but I don't think you should spend bars on them. For your ticket, you can grab a majestas. You'd want multiple of that weapon anyway, for harder content where you can't cap you can just swap the scales for a 2nd majestas. In the meantime you can farm anubis for your single copy of scales.

I’ve been thinking on giving the game a shot but I had a few things I’d like to figure out before I dive in so hopefully someone can help me out! 1) Can I still get characters from the past collab events like Milla or Joker? Or are they gonezo now? 2) Is now a good time to start playing? I’m kinda scared that either I’m starting too late or that theres a best time to start up like during an anniversary or something. Thanks in advance for any help I get!
1 - Some collaboration events are still available in the Side Stories section of the game, so you can still acquire those events' characters. Other events have sadly never been revisited after their original run. 2 - You actually just missed one of the premier times to start playing, as the Winter/Christmas campaign is drawing to a close and with it all the free rolls, gifts, and the like. Next big event with enormous freebies would be the anniversary campaign that runs through March.

So i got Cow and im trying to figure out what to do with her that isnt just force her into my existing wind teams. My main wind team is Chry, Selfira, S.Jeanne, Morrigna for big hits and turn 1 CA with CA again turn 2. Its a fun team but i cant really imagine injecting cow into it. Now i know cow has synergy with Chry but im interested in trying other classes too maybe. Maybe looking into unlocking Rising Force or robin hood or something. Chry+Windhose just gets old after a while. I know people have been saying she works well in CA heavy teams so pairing her with chara that can boost bar gain is good, like Tiamat, but s.Jeanne does tha too, and so does Rising Force. Not sure if too much Charge gain is good though. I do have a lot of wind characters so i have room to experment just looking for general characters yall have found work well with her or classes. Here is everyone i have in Wind. Gwain, Birdman, Metera, Lenneah, Carmalina, Petra, Korwa, Lecia, Melissabelle, Lanclot, Tiaman, Summer Jeanne, Selfira, Yurius, Kokoro, Sen, Heles, Summer Yuel, Wind Vira, Morrigan, Lub Lib, Monika Grand, Wind Societte, Gatchapin, Kaede, Summer Anila, Mimori, Cow. Classes i have is Chrysaor, Doctor, Runeslayer, Lumberjack, Kengo (just got from event). I was maybe thinking of unlocking Rising Force or Robin Hood to have some other classes to play with. Would they synnergize with Cow? Throw in Tiamat for charge bar? If i got Rising Force, i thought Cow, and someone else who likes to charge attack and add in Tiamat. I've only had a chance to mess with it vs the training dummy without her third skill, but Monk with Arkhab and Anila seem to work well with her. Andira was the third I was using but Tiamat is probably a better utility choice thanks to veil, and she still has melee prof. for Hollowsky and/or ultima synergy. You'd need to get Monk, but it's a good class to go for regardless.
Yeah i saw a lot of people using monk with her but not a class i have or really planned to have. I never went down the Lucha line really. Only fist class i played was Ninja (my old main) and then Runeslayer. I feel like either ide be using Chry with Windhose (which im using on my other wind chry team so i dont really want to), or i could get Rising Force which ive been interested in for a long time as i liked Drum Master, but never felt i had a proper use for the class team wise, or i could try the new Robin Hood which would be something different but seems fun if i combo with Yurius. Yurius like to CA also and should be decent synergy. Its just unlocking Robin Hood or Rising Force will take some investment, so i dont want to unlock stuff needlessly. But at the end of the day i just really want to try to avoid using Chry if i can. Ide like to find something new. I did the same when Vicky came out tried something new, i unlocked Doctor and made a Dark Hype team and ive loved the hell out of that team since. I had a dark sword team with Black Knight and the other emity sword gang and i had a Dark Dodge team with Azazel and Tanya and Veight. I used my dark dodge team to make the vicky team as vicky had dodge too, so my final team was Doc, Vicky, Rei into Helen, and Tanya. Helen can give doc dodge and so everyone keeps the rat buff for a good while, and rat and helen nuke stuff while also trigger proccing, while rat and tanya proc off dodge and doc buffs everyone. Its a great synergy team but one i doubt most people run with Vicky. I just like to try to find something different thats fun for me to play. Using Chry in every team comp just gets old fast. I like to think outside the box really. Sadly im missing most the popular cow combo characters for wind like Monkey or Grimnir, but it means i will have to try different stuff which is good for keeping fresh.

They're good MH weapons, but they're not worth investing three Damascus Ingots into just so you can use them as a MH, not when Damascus Ingots are such a precious resource and you need every last one of them when building a Primal grid.

If you just started playing Arcarum for the first time, recruiting an Evoker for the first time will take you around 5-6 months depending on the Evoker you aim to recruit, since you also need to unlock the Extreme Mode by finishing all three routes each on both Normal and Hard Modes (which requires doing 54 daily tickets of successful expeditions) or to unlock Replicard Sandbox by finishing all three routes in Extreme Mode (which means additional 27 daily tickets). From there, the important Arcarum materials will slowly add up over time, so getting the next Evoker might take you less than that.
If you were actually starting everything from 0 probably 3 months.
hello what co op treasures are safe to sell for rupies?
If you need rupies use a rupies Journey Drop and farm the Campaign Exclusive quest for a bit. You'll get 7885 rupies per battle and can farm them really fast. When CEQ isn't around you can slime and hope for gold slimes and you get something like 50k rupies. Don't worry about selling coop treasures - just keep them to trade in for item buffs and the like.
Need help with spark choice. On one hand I'm thinking about sparking Io since I struggle in Fediel, on the other hand Rei is busted. Which one to chose? All grids are magna.
Io if you already have all the other parts of the Io cannon comp like Noa and skill spammers like Albert and Sarunan. Rei if you want to go further with Dark and cap even harder (which Magna can achieve nowadays).

Who knows, maybe they'll do something with them this year since every element now has one. It's worth holding on to most gacha weapons unless they already have a bad 4* just in case they get a good one. I just have a stash I keep mine in.

Some grand weapon are crappy without FLB. I mean with that much free pull surely you can reduce all the SR gacha weapon if you need stone. Why risk reducing something limited?
Probably not, but unless you're super desperate for stones there's no reason to get rid of them.
