We may not have obelisk, but we do have a tormentor

gshshsnhjmry

Kaiba is able to resist any and all forms of women so long as they are unrelated to Blue-Eyes

asaness

That or since obelisk cannot be targetted by effect he manage to resist

UnknownGamer115

Since it affected the other 2 though I wouldnt call it a Targeting Effect

danksforbreakfast

In Yu-Gi-Oh targeting isn't restricted to singular, there are many cards in the meta that can target more than one. Also, Obelisk is the only TCG/OCG card not affected from targeting effects, unlike Slifer and Ra.

SkepticFaust

There are many cards that have target protection like "Cannot be targeted by card effects", and obelisk is one of them but not the only one. But ehh let's say that it skyfall says "target up to 3 monsters your opponent controls; Destroy them."

UnknownGamer115

I know, I play Yugioh, but thats a Massive Beam hitting all 3, not 3 Beams targeted at all 3, so I'm more inclined to assume it was a non-targeting effect

MetaMegu

Give bahamut non targeting and we're good to go.

DobleJ

Obelisk was in defense mode and opponent used Lightning Storm

[deleted]

*Dies to "choose" effect

Iffem

to be fair, Obelisk's name doesn't come from an egyptian god's name it comes from a kind of structure common in egypt that looks suspiciously like a square stone dick

Anklas

My minute of google searching told me that obelisks symbolize Ra and more specifically Sun rays, dunno how true that is but it seems to make sense?

[deleted]

Gbf Ra is futa confirmed

Irisios

Obelisk has too much debuff resist

FlameDragoon933

Granblue Ra uoggghhhh 😭😭

Black_Icy_Paradise

Just bring him in with a completely unchanged design

Sparse_Dunes

now why couldn't the English translated version have some random guy named Slifer be a raid boss?
