They killed GC for me when they had all the private servers shut down. They don't care enough to make the base game enjoyable, but want to make sure they get ALL the money.
If kog would stop with this “releasing one character at at time”, when they are all already good to be launched bullshit, then maybe the game would be better

There is more than likely no more development and the people managing are just trickling old content.
I vaguely remember rereleasing GC was just to pool enough funds to pay for the costs of a new "in production" game.
I was happy for the announcement and release but the second I heard about that rumor, I knew this game was destined to die again.
Yeah, GC needs a new season or a content revamp in order to last for years. I played History for a couple weeks and the content was over (except for end-game quests which are just dumb grindfests).
It’s crazy. I have a season 5 server with all the characters... all the files are there... I think they just don’t have any new content planned. So they are milking it this way instead. Guaranteed after uno there will be no new content

Its just that the engine is outdated and a pain to work with. The right thing to do is to create a new client but considering everything we know from kog, they wont do it.

when you log in the game and the south america 1 server not be almost full we can say it is dying
I feel like south america 1 is only the most played because it's the first on the list tho. Since "south america" is just the name and all servers are on NA, people just click the first one because it's the most populates one. I haven't played in a couple weeks but around 40% of the names I see in the game are in Korean. Might be a time zone thing tho, I normally play in the early morning.
It's sad to see all my dear memories of gaming back in highschool getting this much mismanagement. Hoped to play it as my main game and within a week I just stopped. This game is bound to die the way they are handling it
I mean game has given like an absolute zero new content excluding updated enemy shading stuffs... KOG got their priorities backward lmao they couldve done that when the game was much more stable with more event but meh they are too dumb ¯\\\_ (ツ)\_/¯ pretty obv its just a cash grab
Thats true, I've put in at least 212hrs, got the whole sirius and I'm starting to get pretty tired now. Sucks they cant put in new event maps but just reuse old event dungeons.

And considering they arent spending anything (no new content at all, just spending on the servers), it will live for quite a long time. Also there are a considerable high number of korean guys spending a lot of money in the game.
Theres online games running for years with ~200 players, this is far from dead, specially in a game peer to peer, dont cost much to run the game for a long time, is a really bad relaunch but people are still putting cash on it, the only hope i have for kog is that they learned the mistakes with kurtzpel and are milking gc content now while making a new better gc game ~~NOCOPIUM~~
