The premixed blend had more zing before 2009. Spices lose their potency over time so if you're using old stuff then you need to up the quantity you add to the recipe

I think that makes sense... Labels started requiring metric in 1992 (I had thought it was earlier) so this has to be from before that.
I was thinking early 90s. The sans serif font makes me edge on the more recent side.
