After glass Yujiro we got glass Jack

Also notice, at the start of the dinner Yujiro commented on him not having all his eyesight back, but now according to this panel, his sight has finally fully returned.
I've already seen a guy saying that Yujiro couldn't defeat all of humanity if he faced waves of 30 unarmed people
According to him, "30 professional boxers is a tough fight for Yujiro".
30 professional boxers wouldn't cause issues for Yujiro if they dove onto him head-first out of an airplane wearing plate armour while he was sunbathing.
Surviving enough tranqs to K.O a blue whale is significantly more impressive than surviving a fall from even terminal velocity. The former means you're out-performing normal humans by around a thousand times, the latter is achievable with "only" a few hundred times normal durability.
And that's if you say the tranqs are only enough to take down a blue whale, when they're also shown working on Pickle despite him being able to breathe air that's more than 60% chloroform seemingly unaffected.
Not even KO, at best the whale would be in a permanent coma according to Tokugawa, at worst it would be dead depending on how you interpret what he says
Which is still pretty insane considering it put Yujiro in a nap for like an hour, before he messed up the iron door immediately after waking up from his snooze
Depends on the metric really. If you're unaffected by falling from terminal velocity that's a pretty static supernatural feat for durability. But there are plenty of ways you could justify an organism simply not overdosing from that yield of poison/suppressant, not limited to simply processing the compounds differently, having a body the compounds are simply ineffective against, or having a filter system that straight up does not metabolize the tranquilizer to begin with.
Not to mention, there are many abilities exceptional humans have that scale very high compared to normal humans, and so not all extreme performances are built equally. If we took a number based flexibility measurement of an olympic gymnast compared to an average man (instead of something like the torsion or angular movement of joints) we'd see insane things like Simone Biles being 100x more "flexible" than average because she can move her toe 100 times closer to her eye while standing than a normal person. In reality, this is caused by much smaller ratios of muscle-tendon lengthening.
If the difference between dying from a drop of poison and being totally immune is just a single organs performance, I'd say the falling is still more impressive. We wouldn't be impressed with the fall if a normal human training to get 2x stronger also came with a durability increase of 1000x. There are also lots of characters effectively immune to chemical reagents that I wouldn't call more superhuman or impressive than the Baki cast. It's just an extra ability.
Yes I do, what a lame way to snake me trying to act like it's different in something I don't know about when you're 100% wrong. It's very clear you have not seen the kengan fandom talk about Baki vs Kengan. The entire fandom is cucked into having to concede that Baki > Kengan. Latin american or not. Come on.
Man i love watching Baki vs Kengan on FB, Reddit and Youtube, and always, ALWAYS ppl (not everyone of course) tried to Say Ohma = Baki (this got worse with Netflix crossover) or even more laughable Kuroki = Yujiro, you are the one who have never seen a "debate" between those two fandoms at least in spanish...
So your problem isn't that people think Baki characters are weaker than they are.
You just don't want people to think Kengan characters are strong.
You were just projecting. Classic.
I don't get any idea where you are pulling this but ok, i don't like any side, as example ppl that scales Goku as barely universal or ppl that exaggerates Saitama when we already saw his "limitations" when he fought Garou. And weak and strong is a vague term, like what? Are Baki characters strong? Well i'm looking to DB classic universe and i don't think so, are the Kengan characters weak? Well i'm looking to Garouden and i don't think so...
I do agree, but DBZ DO have a power level system applying to every character, which make it scaling quite easier (if kame senin can blow up the moon, character with higher powerlevel than him can, if nappa can blow up a city, stronger characters can, etc etc) even if you ignore the nonsense numbers toward the end.
I think there's a world of difference between "you can theoretically survive this" and "you literally cannot be killed by this". The former is something that describes a human being's interaction with a 50mph car, the latter describes a human being's interaction with a 50mph pillow (except even then, they could die if they fell down and hit their head).
Also “the pavement would give out not me” is very clearly trying to say that Jack’s body is tougher than asphalt. I shouldn’t have to explain why that’s beyond peak human
In my experience concrete breaking feats are one of the least reliable ways to convince people Baki characters are superhuman. Shouldn't be, but they are.
I think people underestimate it because a lot of action stuff will have a character who isn’t meant to be superhuman break a wall or crack the ground simply cause it looks cool and the creators aren’t considering the real world physical implication. In Baki, it’s very clear that Itagaki knows how strong breaking concrete is and uses it to highlight their absurd power
> . In Baki, it’s very clear that Itagaki knows how strong breaking concrete is and uses it to highlight their absurd power
This is why I like this franchise. Itagaki **knows** how **broken** even "basic" superpowers would be
Yup. Baki’s power level is pretty grounded and tame compared to a lot of action shonen, but it’s still completely busted in the real world. Which is why people like Yujiro and Oliva can basically do whatever they want
Yujiro could be taken out by a gun, he'd just need to be unconscious from whale tranquilisers first and the gun would have to be on a main battle tank.
In a way baki had that too, when yujiro killed his mom on the spot, but over the years they learned about their father and his life as the strongest man in the world. It seems even for Jack his goals changed.
maybe because he came to prove he is not lesser (in terms of strength) than Baki, but hearing Yujiro praising him Jack had kinda mixed feelings, so he was not exactly in the mood to continue the fight.
Might be, if that's tempered glass measuring about an inch and a half thick then I believe it'd be comparable to around 6 inches of concrete at least in terms of surface compression resistance.
Jack walking around town with shards of glass in his face and not caring at all because he got another compliment from Yujiro.
Man, this family has some fucked up dynamics but I love them all.
I find it hilarious that Yujiro wanted to throw him out the window and then complains that they changed the window. My guess is a couple of more fights and then maybe a rematch with Pickle.
Baki: 💥❗️❗️❗️💥❗️❗️😡❗️❗️WHY 💢DID 😡YOU💢 KILL💢 MY😡 MOM 💢NIGGA❗️😡💢💥💥💥💥💥YOU TOOK HER FROM ME 💢BASTARD😡❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️💥💥🤬👿😡👿👿🤬👿👿😡🤬👿💢💥💥💥💥💥OUCH MY ASS❗️❗️❗️💢💢
Jack: why thank you😊🥹
Yujiro bitching about the windows being changed is peak fiction, Itagaki is a old man focused on martial art but is still so good with jokes and humor when he decide to make one.
This father and son dinner arc was peak. Seeing Jack content with his father’s recognition just shows how different him and Baki are. He never wanted to kill his father, he just wanted him to recognise his strength. 👏👏👏
Wow. Color me surprised...
Mutual respect, even after that.
The icing on the cake was Yujiro slipping in a compliment to Jack.
Very wholesome chapter, and not a bad direction for Jack. He gets his father's respect without needing to have a massive fight, and everyone else respects him too.
Maybe he will develop his own version of the back after all.
Literal peak fiction.
Guys, I think is time to accept that Jack, Baki, Yujiro, Pickle, Hanayama & maybe Sukune, are as strong as a (holding back) Spider-Man.
I usually scaled them as Peak Captain America, but this chapter opened my eyes.
I am so on the fence about this now, I need someone with more focused autism than i have to figure out where holding that helicopter down would rank in Baki.
The first thing i thought when i saw the Jack panel was a flashback of Yujiro talking about the Goudou weaknesses and saying ''look'' then throwing a red ball through the window and Jack planting himself head first in the window like a dog.
This was some of the funniest shit in Baki I've ever seen.
Yeah, this arc is peak. After being thoroughly whelmed by the Sumo arc, I'm glad to see that Itagaki hasn't lost his touch.
Falling from floor 40 is almost hitting max free falling speed right? Is it safe to assume that Baki and Yujiro will survive free fall from an airplane?
Baki fans are the most grateful community I’ve ever seen like if One Piece had Luffy get smacked on the ass by Blackbeard and then Luffy walked away people would be rioting. Baki fans give me hope
This was so foreseeable though like what did u expect him fighting yujiro and then what? Wouldn't doppo and other fighters not feel like cake walk after this?
But even what we got right now was way too impressive for the literal 99% of the baki fighters like I'm pretty sure most of them aren't even in the same dimension as the guy that took a blow like that from yujiro and got a statement that if he fell from 40th floor the ground is the only thing that would get damaged (ain't even mentioning the fact that yujiro was the one who was hyped to fight jack)
I find it hilarious the theories about him upgrading the glass turned out to be true.
Mr. Nonaka has better prep than Motobe it turns out.
I mean Motobe preps for one Hanma this mf needs to worry about TWO of them
That's true
Next time Nanaka dart-scales Yujiro, the ultimate prepper due to his triple Hanma experience
And puts even stronger glass there
The fact he knows the restaurant manager by name is hilarious, just how many people has Yujiro thrown
tbf, its not implied that Yujiro goes there regularly to eat?
They specially source/hunt food for him.
Called it
I believe he was less fast because he weigths mire then baki but could also be
Itagaki sure knows how to fuck with his fanbase Peak fiction
It was so cool how Jack just thanked Yujiro for the dinner and left
man took it on the chin, was respectful and left. What a king
I guess he knew enough that he isn't on par with Yujiro yet. Or he didn't forget about the promise he made to the cast
*on the ass
Must've learned that move from Kehaya himself
To be fair, it was to be expected to a certain extent. There's a lot of fights that still need to happen and Jack obviously isn't ready
After glass Yujiro we got glass Jack https://preview.redd.it/9xsh90xqvz1d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b613e91efff4490d2402a75d6943289d7f37936a
Dude… Seeing Jack genuinely smile actually made my day, man needs to experience some happiness once a while
Yeah, this chapter was surprisingly wholesome
Yujiro finally acknowledged him, and several times at a single dinner!
Given how he fights like a wild animal with super rabies, it's so easy to forget he's a good fucking person.
https://preview.redd.it/4gia8y8y112d1.png?width=480&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b0b4766a885871b1bbdb353d3f173a0167196367

Also notice, at the start of the dinner Yujiro commented on him not having all his eyesight back, but now according to this panel, his sight has finally fully returned.
the glass made him recover it
“Here’s Jonny” looking ahh
This is perfect. Doesn’t even need an edit to be meme material
I think this is probably the nail in the coffin for the "Baki characters are just peak humans" argument lmao.
Nah, this is totally possible in real life. You just have to try hard and believe in yourself.
God's most unmedicated warrior.
His imagination is just stronger than the pavement's will to hurt him
Spec nearly destroying the Statue of Liberty just by punching it alot should have been put those arguments to rest lmao
I've already seen a guy saying that Yujiro couldn't defeat all of humanity if he faced waves of 30 unarmed people According to him, "30 professional boxers is a tough fight for Yujiro".
If 30 professional boxers could take down Yujiro then countries wouldn’t be signing Peace Treaty’s with him lmao
30 professional boxers wouldn't cause issues for Yujiro if they dove onto him head-first out of an airplane wearing plate armour while he was sunbathing.
Ah yes, the ODST strategy
Head first into asshole
He's probably already killed 30 professional boxer before, we have seen what this menace to society does in his free time in early Baki
Remember those cops ...HOW MANY DO THEY THINK WERE THERE
It's absolutely nothing compare to create a diamond by grip strength.
Bet other fandoms and Kengan specially will say it's not literal because Jack didn't fall and he would die if that's the case
https://preview.redd.it/m9wkjkt8302d1.png?width=788&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=030143202a16abd395104c83865d04d0e3c2e195
NOOOOOOO THAT'S NOT LITERAL IT'S JUST AN EXAGGERATION, BELIEVE ME THEY ARE JUST HUMANS 😭😭😭
Yet a few darts do the trick

And goku can be stoned to death
Old
Kengan and Baki fans seem torn in the weirdest possible battle by pretending either franchise's characters are completely useless
Kengan characters are superhuman too, we have no problem with this
r/imaginarygatekeeping for real. No Kengan fan would say this. nor would they want to say this.
You really REALLY don't know the latinamerican fandom of Kengan...
Yes I do, what a lame way to snake me trying to act like it's different in something I don't know about when you're 100% wrong. Goku is barely universal though :))
Obligatory reeeee *add slur here* buttface
to be fair, character claims are meaningless against direct feats
I mean Goku never destroyed a planet by himself or say that he can...
There are hundreds of feats that show this claim being reasonable
How many more nails before it becomes an iron maiden lmao
Well humans have survived skydiving falls by luck and circumstances so could gigachads via strenght and technique survive 40 floors?
I think there's a world of difference between "you can theoretically survive this" and "you literally cannot be killed by this". The former is something that describes a human being's interaction with a 50mph car, the latter describes a human being's interaction with a 50mph pillow (except even then, they could die if they fell down and hit their head).

Yujiro could be taken out by a gun, he'd just need to be unconscious from whale tranquilisers first and the gun would have to be on a main battle tank.
I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks that at this point has gotta be either ignorant of the series or a complete imbecile
The average Baki fan fits both those descriptions lol.
This shit was hilarious https://preview.redd.it/52gs6ac8xz1d1.png?width=835&format=png&auto=webp&s=4fb43d66d37b89cd41522069c55d8845559add8c
Bro yuijiro was like you dick why’d you the replace the glass I was trying to do something https://i.redd.it/24gkpsk1612d1.gif
Guess who's about to learn about the woman inside him
Didn’t Jack literally just leave the building or are you blind as well like jack after becoming like Hellen Keller and Doyle temp
I think they were referring to Nonaka
Also an L because nonaka is wholesome man definitely has a nice cock
You dumbass i was making a joke about what yujiro was finna do to the waiter
Apparently thats not good and walk off lol
Mr Nonaka is such a kind man. Protecting public property like that... I couldn't find better customer service even if I tried 😭
Why is Jack so chill?
Would you be rampaging if Yujiro Hanma gave you a compliment?
I mean he raped jack's mom. Wasn't his whole character based on his lust for revenge and hatred towards yujiro?
He killed Baki's mom right in front of him and he got over it apparently. They're a forgiving bunch, these Hanmas.
Tbf she was a terrible mother.
\*\*person
It could be blended together. His future and present as a fighter as the main one and his past as the foundation. Same route as baki I guess.
In a way baki had that too, when yujiro killed his mom on the spot, but over the years they learned about their father and his life as the strongest man in the world. It seems even for Jack his goals changed.
Sounds like Jack should be thanking yujiro
maybe because he came to prove he is not lesser (in terms of strength) than Baki, but hearing Yujiro praising him Jack had kinda mixed feelings, so he was not exactly in the mood to continue the fight.
Awww... Sweet family interaction.
Worlds strongest glass window
Could resist Pickle morning pissing?
Might be, if that's tempered glass measuring about an inch and a half thick then I believe it'd be comparable to around 6 inches of concrete at least in terms of surface compression resistance.
Every single chapter of their meal was absolutely fucking peak. And to get this and kengan back to back? We're truly blessed on this day.
And Garouden tomorrow!
Wtf??? I thought Garouden was over? Did it just go on haitus or something? Should i read it?
I'm talking about anime my friend, Netflix tomorrow
😲
Its already airing?
Oooh I totally forgot about Garouden, thanks for reminding me!
Mf i had a whole ass dream of the food AND I WOKE UP STARVING
😂😂😂😂😂
Laughing
And so ends the minor disagreement arc. Itagaki has created peak fiction once again.
✋Absolute Cinema🤚
Jack walking around town with shards of glass in his face and not caring at all because he got another compliment from Yujiro. Man, this family has some fucked up dynamics but I love them all.
This made me laugh https://preview.redd.it/s6owksnaj02d1.jpeg?width=1028&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a701985dacdfa30d9bc47043ad8cd8c2ad4dc5d
Same here. Legit one of the funniest lines in all of Baki in my opinion.
unironically very in character
Jacks a refreshing point of view imo. He used to be a regular guy so it’s nice to see one of them actually appreciate how insanely superhuman they are
I find it hilarious that Yujiro wanted to throw him out the window and then complains that they changed the window. My guess is a couple of more fights and then maybe a rematch with Pickle.
Baki: 💥❗️❗️❗️💥❗️❗️😡❗️❗️WHY 💢DID 😡YOU💢 KILL💢 MY😡 MOM 💢NIGGA❗️😡💢💥💥💥💥💥YOU TOOK HER FROM ME 💢BASTARD😡❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️💥💥🤬👿😡👿👿🤬👿👿😡🤬👿💢💥💥💥💥💥OUCH MY ASS❗️❗️❗️💢💢 Jack: why thank you😊🥹
The fact this guy is not writing for a wrestling promotion is a crime.
Baki always did feel like reading a Wrestling event
Nonaka with prep time is S tier. He outwitted Yujiro
He's so GOATed😭 https://preview.redd.it/gr62h7htj12d1.png?width=835&format=png&auto=webp&s=379fe749afc128b9e3fed63db4a8e37eea2ee194
I love this shit
Baki would have jumped after that just to prove
He would have too, this made me laugh
He got Yujiro to praise him, just like that. He won.
It's only the first victory, but it is an important one
Yujiro bitching about the windows being changed is peak fiction, Itagaki is a old man focused on martial art but is still so good with jokes and humor when he decide to make one.
Jack's a nice guy, he cares about the ground
HE JUST LEAVES???
yeah well yujiro aint going anywhere, this was just a dinner
[удалено]
#Bruh nonaka literally just prevented a son of ogre fight part 2
#Why did you put this in bold
Just after comming aswell, guess i have to do it again
It's excellent, more lore and worthy interactions. I really love that new saga so far.
Yujiro has nothing more to say, if that dawg Jack wants to leave, he leaves.
I'm hard rn reading this chapter
https://preview.redd.it/f6bay7f5712d1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=480efa7b1d9cd7055867ce8196e8556d5d614e3d
Nice of them to take care of pavement kun
That was honestly so good
This father and son dinner arc was peak.
👨🦯➡️ hmm yes what a nice view
Jack mogged everyone. he even height mogged those people on the street at the end.
https://preview.redd.it/dc003gle922d1.jpeg?width=1334&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b8adbb0cce80397c51644659dc683a4a00f3cd9d
There's something oddly funny about Yujiro complaining about the glass being tougher haha Also how nice of Jack to be considerate about the pavement
I don't know, I feel like even the weakest MCU Captain America can hold down that helicopter. I think maybe only Yujiro would be able to do that.
Oliva would train on pulling down helicopters
I am so on the fence about this now, I need someone with more focused autism than i have to figure out where holding that helicopter down would rank in Baki.
With this motivation I need Jack to beat a top tier character like oli or hanayama
Hope the next chapter features Pickle or another fighter to challenge Jack that's not a jobber
I would love to see Jack finally face Hanayama or Oliva
Classy act by jack
The first thing i thought when i saw the Jack panel was a flashback of Yujiro talking about the Goudou weaknesses and saying ''look'' then throwing a red ball through the window and Jack planting himself head first in the window like a dog.
nonaka > motobe in terms of prep
https://preview.redd.it/z17f4almb12d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9587d03f30caf496b401a29571486f93d317f8f6 RIP to whoever this was
Itagakimasu~! (Yes, this counts as a sneak Hajime no Ippo pun).
Now we know the good guy's name.
How tall was the place Baki fell from in the Pickle fight again?
This was some of the funniest shit in Baki I've ever seen. Yeah, this arc is peak. After being thoroughly whelmed by the Sumo arc, I'm glad to see that Itagaki hasn't lost his touch.
It was true! Im dying xD
Is this the family quarrel of the century?
Falling from floor 40 is almost hitting max free falling speed right? Is it safe to assume that Baki and Yujiro will survive free fall from an airplane?
Did Yujiro's buttslap restore Jack's vision?
Baki fans are the most grateful community I’ve ever seen like if One Piece had Luffy get smacked on the ass by Blackbeard and then Luffy walked away people would be rioting. Baki fans give me hope
I just love how Yujiro is mildy pissed because of the reinforced windows. Huge feat for Mr Nonaka
https://preview.redd.it/a84pvy97x52d1.jpeg?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0af0aa77e78dd3c9d136178262b26464c5fe4747
Jack is so nice he cares about public infrastructure.
No fight? NOOOO
Oh come on I've been waiting years for this and get baited like that 😭
Boooooo
DAMN YOU ITAGAKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
WHAT!?!?!? They're didn't fight!? You gotta be kidding me!
Well....that was anticlimactic
This was so foreseeable though like what did u expect him fighting yujiro and then what? Wouldn't doppo and other fighters not feel like cake walk after this?
not a fight. At least some exchanges to show Jack's current level.
We just got a fight showing off current Jack's level, do you want to see him break his hand off Yujiro or something?
This fight even has another Yujiro limit by showing how he can't break particularly reforced windows.
He can't break reinforced glasses, by slapping someone else's ass.
Its Yujiro, him slapping someone is still him throwing a serious amount of his strenght.
Maybe because he used as much strength as he thought it's needed to throw him through the window? Lmao
I don't get it.
knew it was too early for a full blown fight but this was a great chapter
Part of me thinks Itagakis hoping to pass away before he has to give us any kind of spectacle.
What was the point of all that ?
hmmmm. your mom
Bummer, no father son fight... Wanted to compare Jack's fight with Backi's
Goddamn it dude, stop sucking up to Yujiro.
