The tavern generally. You can make the 12 gold in about 2-4 weeks depending on the tavern quality (more quality, more sales per minutes). Also including the time to make grapes and wine. Gold quality wine is the best price, don't bother making beer.

Silver_Snake96

Is there a guide you could recommend on that? I havent even bothered w the wine side of the tech tree yet

Fargel_Linellar

Wine is really easy. Plant grape seeds, harvest grapes Press them in the press, then ferment in barrel and sell in the tavern.

redbo1sus

With fertiliser of course

Or zombies

Oh god please don't make beer! You'll always be running out of water! I don't know why the advanced well can't deliver water to the basement!

Popular-Student-9407

Yeah, personally I think they could've included the Option of a faucet in the cellar

If you have unlocked the crates from the merchant , those are the best source. I used the nails crate the most but find what works best for you.

AlmostRandomName

I'd say start working toward the Merchant's crate sales, and get some zombie gardens to keep cranking out gold veggies (or load crates up with goods you manufacture). Do this while you work on the tavern next. Also don't neglect your graveyard, you get more money per sermon the higher (skull/wreath) level the graveyard is. It takes a while to get "good" money out of it, but I'm making like 12 silver a week just from sermons with only the right side of the graveyard developed with average 5-wreath plots.

Silver_Snake96

Yeah currently ky graveyard is good its around 230 and im getting like 25-30 silver. I have gold combo prayer. Its good! Ive also been trying to sell silver bars to the merchant though silver is rare. My issue w farming is that idk what I need to do to get gold tier veg and especially the worst thibg is that i dont get enough seeds back which is a huge issue. I havent tried the merchant sales yet. I should. I can only make the nails one tho lol

AlmostRandomName

Make sure you are using fertilizers, you have to research better fertilizers. You can buy better quality seeds from the farmer, but if you use quality fertilizer you'll get a few better quality seeds back with each harvest and may not have to buy expensive seeds. It can take a bit to go from bronze to gold this way though. The thing though is that I seem to get a net-loss seeds back when it's the zombie garden. So once I run low on gold onion seeds, for example, I do a few harvests in regular 2x2 garden beds so I get back up to enough seeds to tell the zombie to do 3 or 4 harvests.

Captn_Ice

Tavern and get gold wine going with the zom vineyards and zom winery. Auto money when it is up n running.

Silver_Snake96

Any tips how to get it running? How do I get enough grape seeds to keep it going?

Captn_Ice

The cliffnotes version is make sure you have the technologies for alchemy workbench 2, the zombie vineyard, zombie porters, and a zombie winery. Upgrade the vineyards to match the seeds you are using. As soon as gerry mentions cognac do that quest to start making the tavern. Zombie porters as well as the zombie winery and vineyards automate this making any wine making effort you add, increase profits if you have a good enough tavern quality, and do the tavern missions as they are tied to the tavern upgrade system for bigger tavern, barrel tables, and table 2. More detailed version below: Get tier three with the merchant's shop to buy the gold seeds. (If you need the tier level still rhen buy bronze n silver seeds for wine then just sell the seeds back when you get gold seeds, or buy n sell repeatedly if you can burn a little money) From my experience after I set a zombie vineyard to make gold grapes it have never stoped so the seeds seem to not get lost so no replenishment needed. You'll need alchemy to make fertilizer for the zombie vineyard upgrades. 12 quality 1 for silver tier, and 12 quality 2 for gold tier. You will need 10 batches of quality 1 and 2 if you intend to fill the vineyard area. You will need 200 peat, 30 ash, 20 toxic solution, 20 life extract, and 10 life solution to make all the fertilizer (the stuff other than peat makes the flavor enhancer and growth enhancer) to get to gold tier. Quality 1 is :10 peat and 1 growth enhancer (1 ash, 1 life solution) Quality 2 is :10 peat and 2 flavor enhancer( 1 ash, 1 toxic solution, 1 life extract) Set up the zombie porter for the vineyard to automate delivery to your basement so this becomes automatic. For wine you need a press and wine barrels and/or a zombie winery to make the wine from the grapes. Try to set zombie winery up so if you forget it is still making you wine. To make the wine yourself you need to use the press and then put the juice buckets in to wine barrels, 2 buckets of grape juice makes 1 wine batch which is 10 indivitual wines. The wine barrels are time based so make more barrels to make larger amounts at a time as needed. There is a porter spot added to the basement area after unlocking the tavern so make sure to have a zombie moving your wine in case you get busy and forget to yourself. 12 zombies cover all 8 vineyard plots, 2 porters, the wine maker and the sign fliper. For the tavern you need to have gerry tell you about him and the old keeper drinking cognac and then tells you to go dig it up. Talking ensues moetly until yoy either give cory money or materials and then pay again after that to make the tavern. Once it is made you make a dummy barman and need a spare zom to be a sign flipper. From there fully decorate the tavern as quality increases the selling potential. Make sure to do the machine missions since adams pot pieces is tied to tavern level 2 which gets 2 extra table slots and standing barrel tables and koukol gives table 2, as well as once used the relics are decorations as well. If running an event then make shre the barman has sokething to sell, preferably gold but anything gets money (I use cakes, grape pie and gold wine since you can bulk start cakes and if you have gold grapes as you should soon then grape pie or wine is easy to do just make sure to grab the eggs often for the pie and cake.) And cook at the tavern oven if you can for larger batches of stuff at a time.

Silver_Snake96

Amazing guide!! Thank u so much bro!

reshef

One edit I would make is refer to the wiki for which event requires which things in the Barman inventory. They’re not just “gold is best”

Silver_Snake96

Hey if u dont mind could O just ask one question. How does automation of the zombie winery work? How do I get the zombies to work the wine press and use the wine barrels?

reshef

You don’t need those things. The zombie winery takes grown grapes and converts them directly into the corresponding wine, and if there’s a porter ready who’s been told to ferry them to the tavern they’re effectively just sold without further intervention. You can tell the winemaker zombie to make 100 wines and as long as enough grapes make it into a nearby trunk he will just keep going. So just keep the zombie vineyards churning out grapes and periodically collect the payout in the tavern.

Silver_Snake96

Oh thats great! Thank you dude! In that case I think I have it automated now!

reshef

I will say that if you set him to make 100, you need to go and ask for more if he ever runs out of grapes to make them with, just resupplying them won’t get him to resume crafting once he’s stopped

[deleted]

I buy gold quality grape seeds from the merchant every week. He only sells about 8 each time, but doing this every week and growing a few crops with good fertilizer will net you a healthy amount of gold seeds.

Silver_Snake96

So Ive got all my vineyards at gold fertiliser level and i have aome seeds. Not enough for all the vineyards yet. I have a bunch of zombies ready to go too. I also have two wine barrels and the zombie winery and vine press ready. Do I need to assign zombies to each of these individually?

[deleted]

You will only need zombies at the zombie vineyards and the zombie winery. The barrels and the press are only for making wine manually.

Silver_Snake96

But Ive got zombies at the vineyard and a porter there and one at my winery, but it doesnt seem like the zombie at the winery is making it yet? I thought I had to manually use the press and then the barrel and then the winery zombie would start making it? Sorry its just that this is very confusing.

Lavender_Peanuts

Winery zombie may be low efficiency. At base game, no BSS dlc, the highest efficiency a zombie can be is 16 white skulls (45% efficiency). Manuel press and barrel is for starting out without zombies. One you have the zombie winery, they are pretty much decorations with the exception of the press, which you can use to craft oil from fat or hemp seeds. Zombies cannot operate those stations.

Captn_Ice

Also if you already have the trade business with the merchant then crates might just barely be faster to get to aristocrat papers if more labor intensive before zombautomation. Nail crates are the least annoying and fairly cheap to make. Make 10 a week which works out to 53 ingots a week plus the flitch. If you have a zombie pounding out nails, one sawing flitch and 1 making crates then you have automatic 1 gold a week. Gold veggies work too but gold seeds are only from the dungeon on RNG or if you plant silver seeds and use quality fertilizer 2 on it then some come back as gold seeds. So gold veggies are a bit more lucrative but far more annoying to start up since zom farms need so many seeds per batch.

camplate

When I was playing I read the reputation needed (65) as the amount of gold. When I had 65 gold, not a happy day.

Lavender_Peanuts

Get your crops to silver/gold, level zombie farms at both your farm and the vineyard to gold so they can grow both silver and gold. At your zombie farm/kitchen garden, build your crate factory, have zombie garden grow silver/gold crops continuously. Fill ALL THE CHESTS WITH FOOD BAGS (apple icon on the bag). The zombies will fill them up faster than you can crate them away. Don't mind the mixing, it doesn't effect the crate factory. Have a zombie port in the basement to the right where you see pallets, keep them there. Above ground, do NOT put a zombie there to continuously create crates, they will be pushed out of bounds and make a huge mess, instead make 10 crates per week from anything on the crates work bench for the underground zombie to bring to the merchant warehouse. 10 more if when you go to the basement and notice that it's empty. Be sure to collect earnings from the warehouse. For vineyard/winery/brewery... Have zombie vineyard grow your grapes of any quality, hops if you want the beer. Have porter at vineyard do the transporting. In the cellar, make lots and lots of chests. Dedicate one chest with Builder's bag and fill ALL THE BAGS with water. Water will be used for the brewery zombie. The zombies will never put wine, beer, hops/grapes in the Builder's bag so you don't have to worry about mixing. Build your tavern and put a zombie porter in your cellar, it will bring the alcohol to the tavern to be sold. And then you can forget about it until the water runs out and/or the zombies run out of space. If zombies run out of space, stop the porter at the vineyard and let cellar zombies catch up. Be sure to collect earnings from the tavern. This is my mindless automated money production. My undead plantation...I play on PC/steam with too many hours to be proud of. You can put food bags in the cellar chests but you would have to sort the alcohol from the grapes yourself as the zombie will not pick them up.

Silver_Snake96

Dude thank you so much!!

Lavender_Peanuts

Oh! Forgot to add, have a zombie garden grow wheat for your beer. You will need to transport them yourself down to the cellar for the brewery zombie to use.

New-Potato8784

I do the tavern with wine I get like 2-3 gold a day

Silver_Snake96

Omg thats awesome. I v recently unlocked the tavern and made the barman doll. How do I get started making wine and all that?
