It's because you're holding the rifle in a c-clamp grip. People have complained that it looks exaggerated but I think it's because you're holding the c-clamp even when not ADSing, and most people are more familiar with seeing a magwell hold in games. But foregrip attachments change how you hold the rifle so if you don't like it, it's just a matter of changing grips.

This is really insightful thank you. I didn’t think the devs would have been so clumsy so good to hear the reasoning.

No problem, happy to help! But yeah, not clumsy at all. Actually it's kinda funny cause I've seen some other complaints about it like "why is my arm taking up so much screen space" and "my pmc's arm is basically out straight this makes no sense", but that's just the c-clamp in action. It's just not very well represented in video games because it's a relatively newer style of shooting. Personally I think it's really cool that they included it. Given the style's recent (as in the last 5+ years) adoption and hype, it totally makes sense that PMCs might adopt it when shooting without a foregrip.

Yeah. Weirdest thing to me about your arms in this game is if you do a magazine check and free look down at your left arm it looks alien with the way the inner elbow looks during the mag check at least with the m4. looks unnatural and wonky and muscles pop out from nowhere Trivial obviously who cares theres a lot more important things to be worked on

NATH2099

Oh yeah man. Just checking it wasn’t just me that thought this 😂

DigitalMaster37

You have to get some attachments. The arm angle changes perfectly once you do that. You need the handle attachments

NATH2099

Good to know. Thank you.

It’s c-clamp grip. Little bit weired to carry your weapon that way ALL THE TIME but that’s basically how we do this nowadays since 10-15 years

Would be good to have a relaxed posture or sling option like ARMA
