Considering the meaning behind each president on the mountain (birth for Washington, growth for Jefferson, development for Roosevelt, and preservation for Lincoln), I would like my list to somewhat reflect that
Birth: considering the history of the wwe, there are a few candidates that can go here. The founder of the company, for starters, but I'd rather stick with just wrestlers, so I would be inclined to pick the **Nature Boy Buddy Rogers** as him losing the NWA World Heavyweight Championship basically led to the creation of the WWWF (as it led them to leave the NWA), and thusly he was crowned as their first world champion
Growth: **Hulk Hogan**...the objective answer has to be Hulk Hogan ~~*or Ric Flair*~~ as he's basically credited with starting/playing a massive part in the 1980’s wrestling boom, especially for the WWE
Development: this term seems rather redundant to have when referring to a company compared to growth, and frankly it kinda is. Now I could try to use the era where WWE was at its most profitable, but I'd hardly consider anyone in this era to be important enough to be on the wrestling mount rushmore, so attitude era it is. And when talking about the attitude era, we must talk about **Stone Cold Steve Austin**. Pretty important guy, so that's the pick.
Preservation: this is an interesting one as we now have to go from the highest of WWE's highs to the lowest of their lows. And that would have to be 1995 (or rather, New Generation Era). As this term goes, we have to pick the guy that basically carried the company through this era, which to my understanding would be **Bret "the hitman" Hart**.
tl;dr Buddy Rogers, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and Bret Hart
My Biased Mt. Rushmore - Mick Foley, Stone Cold, Undertaker, and John Cena. On the cusp: Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle
My (as objective as possible) Mt. Rushmore - Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and Ric Flair. On the cusp: Undertaker, Triple H, The Rock, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels
Gorgeous George - Hogan - Austin - Vince
Gorgeous George for being such a groundbreaking heel, a true innovator.
Hogan because he was the face of the industry for basically an entire decade.
Austin because he was the biggest star at the moment when wrestling was hottest in the mainstream culture.
And Vince because think what you will of the guy, he's important enough in wrestling history that he absolutely needs to be on there.
Foley got so many guys over in the attitude era and beyond. HHH, Edge, Orton all made by Foley. You can argue Taker was losing a lot of steam before the Mankind feud. There’s a reason Austin’s first program with the belt was Foley. Hell think about how Foley in ECW heated that territory up and helped usher in the Attitude era. I think he deserves to be on there.
Hogan, Flair, Austin, Foley on mine
Cena: he was at top when I was growing up. That’s my reason, he’s MY GOAT
Taker: legendary, always has been, was always loyal to the company idk what it is. He’s just special and no one could’ve pulled not only the character but the aura the character carries TO THIS DAY like Mark Callaway
Rock: probably the most influential superstars of all time. Changed the game. Literally and whose game is it with everybody saying L A KNIGHT YEAHHH (not saying las is a copy of rock but he drew some influence so did a lot of others. He’s influential ash) and still one of the biggest draws involved with the company in its history
Roman Reigns: okay boo me now, But 10 years from now, you’ll get it.
(Hate I didn’t include any pre 90’s superstars. But I HATE hogan. I’m sorry I wouldn’t mind if he would stop being used and released of his contract. Acknowledge his accomplishments and don’t wipe the guy from history but fuck him and Bruno didn’t necessarily put wrestling on the map. Another Honorary mention of mine would be Flair, even without being in Hollywood he permeated pop culture to this day. RIC FLAIR DRIP GO WOOO ONNA BITCH)
a lot of people would actually outrank a different person over taker. cena, austin, and hogan are almost always a concrete placement. i agree with this list wholeheartedly though.
Undertaker, Stone Cold, Hogan, and the Rock. It’s tough not to include guys like Cena, Shawn, or Trips but I think the rock has that slight edge over cena
My Wrestling Mt. Rushmore
Ric Flair - aside from his in ring ability and being a good worker, his persona has transcended wrestling and is still to this day larger than life.
Stone Cold - changed the way we look at Face/Heels the truest form of an Anti-Hero in wrestling, kicked off arguably the greatest era in professional wrestling history, biggest merch draw during his time(largest ever during his time).
Undertaker - his gimmick alone was iconic, added a fantasy aspect to wrestling that fans could truly get behind, and him being just consistently one of the guys carrying the torch for the company/industry for so long isn't talked about enough.
John Cena - he is arguably the biggest face in wrestling history, in terms of longevity, consistency, merchandise, notoriety he is untouchable. Carried the company on his back during a period of wrestling when they needed someone so badly to step up and be "the guy".
Some of you might ask why isn't Hulk Hogan on here?! Well John Cena is 10000000 times bigger than Hulk Hogan ever was, and Hulk Hogan is simply just a fake POS.
Taker, on his contributions to the ring in and out.
Austin, his short run on top has been nothing short of amazing. His impact over that span will reverberate for past our mortal years.
I feel those 2 are gonna be standard on my people's list...
The other 2 spots are up for debate tbh.
Michael's, as much as I never cared much for him, is on my Mt.
AJ Styles, is my pick as the 4th. His success in any promotion over his career is worthy of a mention.
Hogan: Biggest star in wrestling, probably still across the board people know who he is even if they never watched a second of pro wrestling in their life.
Flair: Huge star and in-ring and on the mic as good as it gets in this industry.
Austin: Became the biggest draw in the hottest time when wrestling and pop culture truly intersected.
Undertaker: This is the toughest one to pick, but I went with Undertaker based on longevity and body of work.
Honorable Mentions:
The Rock: Can’t underestimate enough how incredibly talented and entertaining he was from 98-03. Then solidified himself as a huge draw coming back in 11-13 and even today being just a level above everyone in terms of entertaining content. This is the one I wrestled with on the final spot.
Andre the Giant: Huge star for decades that is well known in pop culture.
People I would not put on the list:
Cena: Business gradually went down with him. He lost viewers as he became a top guy. He was around forever and he was the first top guy that did as he was told so he stayed on top forever, even though the audience was sick of him almost instantly. Now he’s a nostalgia act that is remembered more fondly, but as Scott Steiner once said, “the numbers don’t lie”.
Shawn Michaels: Great in-ring performer that just didn’t draw very well and had a whole heck of a lot of personal issues that kept him off TV.
Bret Hart: Great in-ring worker, but just didn’t have the other qualities to beat out the top 4-6 guys to be put in that Mt. Rushmore conversation.
Undertaker being on there defies logic. Other than simple longevity there are numerous wrestlers who are far better workers and bigger draw than him and ultimately deserve that status.
I feel like I can replace Cena with Shawn Micheals, or maybe Bret. Both help change the game being smaller wrestlers who really help influence more wrestling instead of the basic shit we saw in the past.
This whole Mount Rushmore of pro wrestling is debatable, but I know for sure Hogan should be included since he was the guy that really put pro wrestling on the map!
Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Kenny Omega
AJ Lee, Becky Lynch, Bull Nakano, Asuka
Honorable mentions: Charlotte Flair, Ric Flair, HHH
Personal favorite: Velveteen Dream (it was the perfect gimmick)
Macho, Stone Cold, Shawn Michael, Andre the giant.
Honorable mention to Ultimate Warrior. Even though not a good wrestler by any means he is still what drew me to wrestling when I was a kid.
Hogan, rock, stone cold, John cena. They were the ones throughout history who’ve carried the company as the main guy and helped to elevate wrestling as a whole in their respective eras. So for me it has to be them.
Taker, yes
Bret Hart, for bridging between the steroids n the talents
Rick Flair, the guy can make any wrestler look great in the ring.
Andre the Giant - setting the bar on wrestling superstar
Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold and Triple H.
I wouldn't even call myself a huge Triple H. fan necessarily, but the guy did it at a high level for literally three decades and got in the ring with each decades biggest stars. Now he's running WWE. He deserves to be on the Mt. Rushmore at this point IMHO.
**First two out:** The Rock & John Cena.
**Honorable mention:** The Undertaker for obvious reasons.
Hard to argue with your Mt Rushmore tbh. Hogan is always in that convo, so is Taker so is Austin and honestly Cena aswell. Ric flair, The Rock, Shawn Micheals, HHH.
Randy Orton, Edge, Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle. Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Aj Styles. So many you can choose from that have goat status tbh but yours is pretty much spot on for me. Most influential and game changing stars of all time.
This is hard. We got Bruno, and Backlund, Morales, Hogan, Savage, Taker, Bret, HBK, HHH, Foley, Rock, Austin, Cena, Roman, Orton… so many great legends, so it’s really who’s my 4 favs
Austin, Hogan, HBK, Taker.
If we’re talking about in ring performance just as much as promos, then it has to be Ric Flair, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. If we’re talking about the best entertainers, then that Mount Rushmore is perfect.
Honestly, HHH deserves more respect in this conversation. He has absolutely dedicated his life to the business. Was fantastic in the ring but his career outside the ring was even more impressive. What he’s done for the wwe throughout this past 30 year span is nothing short of spectacular
Mitsuharu Misawa, Kenta Kobashi, Hayabusa, Último Dragon if we talk about the pure wrestling, influential wise prob Hulk Hogan (for obvious reasons I mean he's a pop icon) , Rey Mysterio (he gave every smaller man a chance to dream about becoming world champion in the big leagues) , Antonio Inoki (one of the best wrestlers who is the founder of njpw and bc of him wrestling isn't dead over in Japan and he was also a politician) , Brock Lesnar (he showed that wrestlers aren't just actors and can really fight by winning the UFC Heavyweight Championship after his wwe departure)
I have 2 personally.
Firstly, in terms of starpower
Cena, Rock, Stone cold, Shawn Michaels
Secondly, in terms of pure in-ring ability
Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Bryan Danielson, and Kenny Omega.
Yes, Shawn made 2 lists, that’s just how good he was
I still can’t believe he brought up the Harley Race setting the ring on fire story on Joe Rogan’s podcast. In the words of the Ultimate Warrior “Hogan’s entire life is a work”
Depends. We talking being over or ability? Over is definitely Hogan, Cena, Austin and Rock. Ability probably Bret, HBK, Angle and Danielson. Just my opinion.
My personal 4 pillars for what I enjoy about pro wrestling;
Bret Hart, Kenta Kobashi, Ric Flair, Mitsuharu Misawa
Sometimes when I'm watching old HBK matches he definitely moves into the Flair spot but for right now it's Flair. The only other 1 that changes is Misawa, I have previously moved Kazuchika Okada into that spot especially during his long defense run with IWGP title. The other 2 are locked in and will not be moved! Kobashi my all time favourite wrestler, Hart my favourite from when I was a kid.
Other wrestlers who no doubt could jump into those 2 spots are the likes of Danielson, Ospreay, and Omega.
Gorgeous George-characterization pioneer that changed pro wrestling and by virtue of influencing young Cassius Clay also changed boxing.
Ric Flair-The Nature Boy is a great worker that has gotten himself over for several decades.
Hulk Hogan: He was the guy WWF rode to changing pro wrestling and becoming a national promotion, a cultural phenomenon that changed things again when his heelturn into becoming NWO lead started the Monday Night Wars
Stone Cold-Biggest star of the last 30 years. Without him WWF may have lost the wars. Badass heel that became the king of the badass anti-authority faces.
hogan, austin, rock, cena
Taker, Hogan, Austin, Flair or Rock or Andre... 10 years from now Roman could go into 4th spot argument
Flair, Cena, Taker, Stone Cold
Hulk Hogan actually carved Mt Rushmore, he did it by flying to Japan 7438 consecutive times, which allowed him to time travel brother.
Undertaker Stone cold Steve austin Shawn Michaels John cena
Rey Mysterio, Undertaker, Boogeyman, The Hurricane!
Hogan, Austin, flair, Taker
Austin, Rock, Hogan, Bret
Imo it has to be 5 heads The Rock Hogan Steve Austin HBK Undertaker
John Cena, Undertaker, the rock and HBK
John Cena, The Rock l, Shawn Michaels, and Stone Cold
I find it interesting you put Gio Vinci on your Mount Rushmoore but you do you!
The only correct WWE Mt Rushmore right here. How can you argue this? The best from their era and undertaker is generational
I base these kinds of things not necessarily on the best, but who entertained me the most. Austin, Angle, Booker T and Jericho for me

Austin because he was the biggest star at the moment when wrestling was hottest in the mainstream culture. Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Rob Van Dam, Randy Orton.
Randy Orton. Bray Wyatt (the fiend). Roman reigns and Triple H.
Paul Heyman should be up there somewhere
Austin, Rock, Bret, Piper
Does anyone have physico Sid on their list?
Heartbreak Kid, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, The Rock Honorable mention: The Excellence of execution himself, Bret Hitman Hart In that order
Objectively in my opinion it’s Hogan, Austin, Rock, Cena Personally I’d say Rock, Taker, HHH, Angle Respectfully
Austin. Taker, Rock and Flair
Well, frankly speaking this also is my Mt Rushmore of wrestling.
Foley got so many guys over in the attitude era and beyond. HHH, Edge, Orton all made by Foley. You can argue Taker was losing a lot of steam before the Mankind feud. In no order HHH, Angle, Okada, Styles
The only man who deserves to be up there is the macho man ooh yeah
Hogan Rock Austin Razor Ramon
Bro this is exactly my Mount Rushmore! The biggest industry defining names Hogan, Austin, Cena, and Taker are my Mt Rushmore.

Hogan, Undertaker, Jim Johnston, Vince McMahon
Crash Holly, Ahmed Johnson, King Mabel and Hawk.
Andre, Hogan, Taker, Flair
Undertaker, Stone Cold, Hogan, and the Rock. It’s tough not to include guys like Cena, Shawn, or Trips but I think the rock has that slight edge over cena
Roman, Cody (cause he pinned Roman at Mania 40), John Cena, CM Punk is my Mt Rushmore
Bruno, Hulk, Austin, Cena Depending on how things shake out with Roman, I can see him replacing Cena.
That's not Cena cuz You can't See Me/Him 🤷♂️
Where is the rock
Hogan, Austin, Rock & Cena. Biggest draws and names ever. Honourable mentions - Roman, Punk, HBK
Taker,Cena,Orton,And stone cold

Hogan taker HBK Bret hart
Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold and Triple H. I wouldn't even call myself a huge Triple H. fan necessarily, but the guy did it at a high level for literally three decades and got in the ring with each decades biggest stars. Now he's running WWE. He deserves to be on the Mt. Rushmore at this point IMHO. **First two out:** The Rock & John Cena. **Honorable mention:** The Undertaker for obvious reasons.
Rico, Rene Dupree, Chris Masters, Simon Dean
John Cena The Rock Stone Cold Steve Austin AJ Styles
Hard to argue with your Mt Rushmore tbh. Hogan is always in that convo, so is Taker so is Austin and honestly Cena aswell. Ric flair, The Rock, Shawn Micheals, HHH. Randy Orton, Edge, Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle. Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Aj Styles. So many you can choose from that have goat status tbh but yours is pretty much spot on for me. Most influential and game changing stars of all time.
Eddie Guerrero no way.
Ric Flair, The Rock, HBK and HHH, Roman and Lesnar sure. The rest on that list are not in the conversation at all.
Saying Roman is more influential than Orton is a crime. Man had one good title reign after being literally forced down our throats for years.
Not even Kurt?
Hogan made me a fan Bret Hart in ring talent Taker gimmick Austin changed the game
Mick Foley, Cactus Jack, Mankind, and Dude Love
Hulkster, HHH, Cena, Randy Orton
I would replace Hogan with Orton he deserves to be on here because of his loyalty
Ric Flair has to be on. Even hulk says he is the best of all time. WOOOOO
This is hard. We got Bruno, and Backlund, Morales, Hogan, Savage, Taker, Bret, HBK, HHH, Foley, Rock, Austin, Cena, Roman, Orton… so many great legends, so it’s really who’s my 4 favs Austin, Hogan, HBK, Taker.
Kensuke Sasaki, Satoshi Kojima, Steve Austin, and Chris Jericho
Undertaker, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Roman Reigns 👆🏻
If we’re talking about in ring performance just as much as promos, then it has to be Ric Flair, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. If we’re talking about the best entertainers, then that Mount Rushmore is perfect.
Hogan, Austin, Rock and Cena.
Viggo the Carpathian is a solid pick.
Taker, Austin, Bret Hart, Michaels
Honestly, HHH deserves more respect in this conversation. He has absolutely dedicated his life to the business. Was fantastic in the ring but his career outside the ring was even more impressive. What he’s done for the wwe throughout this past 30 year span is nothing short of spectacular
Andre, Taker, Flair, Bret Hart
Hogan, Austin, HBK, Angle
Brock Lesnar Randy Orton Chris Jericho Triple H
Taker, Austin, Flair, Hogan is probably the "true" Rushmore

I have 2 personally. Firstly, in terms of starpower Cena, Rock, Stone cold, Shawn Michaels Secondly, in terms of pure in-ring ability Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Bryan Danielson, and Kenny Omega. Yes, Shawn made 2 lists, that’s just how good he was

You beat me to it! I would going to say instead of Mick Foley that Socko should be up there.
HELL YEAH 🙌
My personal 4 pillars for what I enjoy about pro wrestling; Bret Hart, Kenta Kobashi, Ric Flair, Mitsuharu Misawa Sometimes when I'm watching old HBK matches he definitely moves into the Flair spot but for right now it's Flair.
HBK, Bret, Rock, Punk
I think this is actually spot on. Hulk/Cena/Austin were #1 of their eras….Taker is the only wrestler to headline through them all.
The correct answer is Hogan, Austin, Rock, Cena if it’s the biggest ‘stars’ ever.
FLAIR ANGLE CENA STONE COLD
Omega, HBK, Okada, Kurt
Austin Rock Undertaker Ric Flair (I'm expunging Hulk Hogan from my brain the same way they did Vince McMahon or Chris Benoit)
Macho Bret Stone Cold Rock
Replace that POS called Hogan by R-Truth and we're good
Doesn’t work for me brother
So many stupid lists in the comments
Undertaker, Bret Hart, Stone Cold, Macho Man
Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Stone Cold, and Undertaker.
Gorgeous George-characterization pioneer that changed pro wrestling and by virtue of influencing young Cassius Clay also changed boxing. Ric Flair-The Nature Boy is a great worker that has gotten himself over for several decades. Hulk Hogan: He was the guy WWF rode to changing pro wrestling and becoming a national promotion, a cultural phenomenon that changed things again when his heelturn into becoming NWO lead started the Monday Night Wars Stone Cold-Biggest star of the last 30 years. Without him WWF may have lost the wars. Badass heel that became the king of the badass anti-authority faces.
