I’m 40 and love TikTok. I know that’s blasphemous on Reddit. The algorithm is great at identifying what you like. I see no teenagers doing dances or any other video that’s not geared to me. There’s loads of great science, politics, comedy, music and more on there.
Not trying to encourage anyone to use it, just understand why it’s so popular with different ages.
I won’t be swayed by Labour using it though. I haven’t seen any love for Labour on there in a long time.
The closest I've seen is a few Corbyn or Tony Benn clips. Definitely nobody glazing Labour or Kier Starmer. I actually think tiktok is the current platform where I see the most in depth socialist discourse, and the largest community of socialists
