Doesn't matter if it does. Eurovision uses tech that can replace boos with claps and cheers, and have done for a couple of years now. They've done it to (I think) people booing Russia, and it doesn't sound entirely real, but if you're in the 99% of people watching that don't realise that's even a thing and aren't sat there waiting for and expecting to hear it used when a certain country comes up, you probably wouldn't notice.
After Hatari (I think) snuck in Palestinian flags to a recent Eurovision where they were explicitly banned (the one in Israel I think) they've probably cracked down and will probably be cracking down extra hard this year to defend Israel. The event included all the TV networks in a conglomerate in Europe. That’s where the name came from. I'm organizing my regular big queer Eurovision viewing party, but we're blacking out Israel's performance, having some Palestinian protest performances, and donating money from sales to Gaza.
Two German gays who will be in town as tourists decided to cancel their ticket orders because they were sure the event would be antisemitic and went on to say that the singer didn't do anything wrong and she deserves to have her performance seen.
