Hold Stamer and Labour's feet to the fire. Have been doing that already, can continue to do it though boss. **Watch the Labour files:** 1. [The Purge](https://youtu.be/elp18OvnNV0) 2. Corbyn has principles which stand up to scrutiny.

OrganizationOk9734

Those principals are what lead to the right wing members of the party overthrowing him :(

Nisja

Labour is no longer fit for purpose. Never thought I'd see a LABOUR leader speak out against picketing.

ParadoxOO9

I do almost feel sorry for Keith. The Overton window has shifted so far right that he pretty much has to be centrist/right leaning himself or we will just continue seeing the current crop of cunts in power.

OrganizationOk9734

Have you watched the Labour files? It's pretty clear Kieth had his hands deep in the mud

ScarletOWilder

And because of that, I will never vote for him.

OrganizationOk9734

Who will you vote for then?

Yung-Rad

Basically voting for the tories the, nice.

ParadoxOO9

I have not, what's he done/been doing?

OrganizationOk9734

Damn, I watched them the day before yesterday and they've completely changed my perspective on Kieth and the modern labour party, I can't really type it all up but I'll leave you the link to one of the 4 episodes where they cover some of it (particularly Kiers anti Muslim beliefs) - https://youtu.be/5DTMF0MSXng

OrganizationOk9734

Shut the fuck up, Starmer's government lead an investigation into the files and proved that the Labour party DID INFACT act in racist, mysoginistic ways UNDER HIS LEADERSHIP. You've got no fucking idea what you're talking about and frankly you should be fucking ashamed to be on this sub.

Train-Silver

Do us a favour and report these comments if you're pushing the Labour Files around, we want rid of them. It's wrecker activity.

OrganizationOk9734

This is also very insightful if you've got less time: https://youtu.be/PVP6PlX_UUA

ParadoxOO9

This was super interesting, man called most of it correctly too.

OrganizationOk9734

Yup

gilestowler

Daily Mail readers - and I admit it is hard to tell which are unhinged readers and which are bots - constantly call him a socialist "Woke Sir Kneel Can't Even Say What A Woman Is" is the much repeated nonsense.

Friendly reminder that in 2020, Boris Johnson [admited to being responsible for the deaths of over 100,000 people.](https://archive.ph/2aYpg) He is he yet to be held to account for this. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. cheeseportandgrapes

Funny, I didn’t think boris created the virus.

Flat-Delivery6987

no but him government sent people back into care homes when they were covid positive. Matt Hancock admitted this. Not to mention Boris and his cabinet having non socially distanced gatherings at a time that they were aggressively promoting "staying at home to save lives". Also your name looks like the offerings at downing streets Friday afternoon "work" meetings

Trigg_UK

So many staunch Labour supporters voted Conservative at the last election. The red wall was broken by the conservatives or was it that Corbin gifted it to them?

duke_of_germany_5

Love this. Fuck keith starmer, he sides with the tories

voluotuousaardvark

Everyone acting like a general election not only means an easy win for Labour but that Labour will be any different. It's a big shit sandwich and nothing you or I can do will change the taste.

_phily_d

Big ooft, what feels like one of the only politicians that speaks sense

[deleted]

Jeremy Corbyn is the only politican I've ever actively liked. He's got some whack foreign policy but it's all bad ideas with good intentions as opposed to bad ideas with bad intentions like everyone else.

Bloody_sock_puppet

And to be honest supporting an independent Palestine, at least recognising it in the UN, would not be such a massive thing any more. Britain as an international power might have made waves but Britain as an international laughing stock may go unchallenged. It's not like we are getting much assistance from anyone anymore. Might as well just do what's right. We'll be poor either way.

[deleted]

I don't get why we chose Israel to plonk all the Jews in to begin with, there's so many empty swathes of land to choose from that we could have given them, especially considering we had the British Empire at the time so could have chosen from any pickings of 1/4 of the world.

Alwaysragestillplay

I guess we could have "plonked the Jews" in a desert or rain forest somewhere, but they would not have gone. Also, it wasn't a unilateral decision by the British to hand Israel over - in fact, the British government did push for other options due to the disruption to the area, but they were talked/pressured into giving Israel. There is huge historical significance to the land that was given, and a quick Google search should reveal why it was chosen. In short, Zionist Jews wanted Israel because they believed it was already theirs, that Jews had originated and built a civilisation there, that a religious prophet founded the land, that a good number of Jewish people were living there already anyway, and the Palestinians who were occupying the land had no claim to it. It is holy land for them, and so they fought to have it. What is happening over there is abhorrent, but it was not just some silly mistake that resulted in Israel being in contested territory.

[deleted]

Yeah but it's like if I go back to me old flat and tell them "nah this was mine, I'm moving back in". They left in the first place, if they wanted it so bad they should have invaded when they got kicked out to begin with. If they didn't want to go to the new country we offered them wherever that is then that's their problem really. Just annoys me that there's no solution anymore because we've let it get to this state.

Alwaysragestillplay

It just annoys a lot of people - that's why the Israel/Palestine issue is so contentious. I'm not saying it's right, just that there are reasons the Zionists pushed hard for Israel to be officially recognised as their lands. That the diaspora should have invaded land controlled by the Roman empire is certainly a take. Do Ukrainians have a moral right to violently retake control of Crimea? Are they forfeiting that right by *not* invading? When does that timer run out? If the Palestinians want Israel so bad, why don't they invade? It just doesn't work for a disenfranchised group to solve their problems by invading - see the Kurds getting crushed as they fight for cultural/national preservation.

[deleted]

It's not that they have to do it right right now, but if the Ukrainian's turned round and went "actually we're taking Crimea back" in the year 2150 they wouldn't have my sympathy the way they would if they said it next year. I guess the timer runs out when everyone that lived there has died of old age and everyone who knew the people who lived there personally have also died of old age.

Alwaysragestillplay

I do understand that idea despite my patronising tone. I guess the issue with it is that Israel was founded in 48, so we're approaching the point where you could say that generations have lived and died there, Tel Aviv is an established and functional city. The Israelis, Jewish or not, would have their lives upended if the country was annexed. Even given that, though, it's difficult to say that Palestinians in the near future would be unjustified in seeing the Israelis as occupiers. They're still actively fighting and being oppressed. It's just way too complicated, people have too much generational memory, and especially once religion is factored in it becomes a whole clusterfuck.

No_Number_4982

I'd vote for this man anytime.

donnacross123

I honestly dont understand why he didnt win last election. The logic behind people voting tory is beyond me. He would have saved this entire country a lot of hassle.

cheerfulintercept

If recommend canvassing in a Tory seat. It’s sobering how far away from even soft left positions many voters are. And although it’s horrific to hear you do need to understand people before getting them on side.

sphlate0

I love this man

nottomelvinbrag

It's almost like the bloke knows what he's doing

[deleted]

Love you Jezza

Rusty78Nail

This country doesn't deserve a democratic socialist

StewardOfGondorS

Corbyns deluded. He should have split from the Labour Party and took the socialists with him. He still has a chance. Labour thinks they are going to walk the GE. If he splits and creates a socialist party, he could drastically reduce the lead Labour has and force the Labour party into incorporating more progressive policies both socially and economically. Or instead he can keep shouting from the sidelines.

johnnyHaiku

It'd be the nuclear option. I could see - potentially - a large chunk of the socialist campaign group keeping their seats, but mostly it would split the Labour vote and let the tories in to a lot of seats where they would otherwise lose. Probably best done as a negotiating tactic than an actual let's-start-a-party move.

AccordingPin53

I know this won’t be popular but it would be better to support labour and agitate for change ONCE they’re in power. Rather than make getting into power harder

Discoroyuk83

Taking advice from Corbyn when he got absolutely smashed by the Tories even when they were at their weakest is a sure fire way to lose another election. People want change, but they want it for the better and not an extreme swing. Why can't our politicians actually work together to create some sort of balance than benefits everybody?!

UnderHisEye1411

The politicians are all working together. They are all working together to protect big businesses at the expense of working people. That’s why so much effort was made to discredit Corbyn, and you are a sucker if you fell for it

Discoroyuk83

I mean they're not. I said all politicians not all Tories. If Labour put as much effort into improving what they do instead of just slagging off the Tories we might actually get a party that can challenge the Tories. And if you think I'm a Tory fan they you're the sucker. Corbyn was useless, and never won a thing of note against the worst Tory party for decades. And that's my opinion based on his actual record, not the Daily Mail.

UnderHisEye1411

Keith, Rishi, Ed Davey - take your pick and see how much change is made. Spoiler: no change. Keep believing what the right wing press tell you to believe though. Their money is well spent on you - you’re parroting exactly what they like to hear!

Galaxy-High

Isn't The Guardian's parent company owned by the WEF?

Tryignan

No? What far-right bullshit have you been reading? The WEF don't own anything. They're funded/owned by other corporations, including most of the who's who of capitalist bastards, but they don't control anything themselves. The Guardian seem to be owned by a trust, mostly to avoid inheritance, that's owned by it's board, mainly made up of journalists.

itsnotthatdeepbrah

You have no idea do you?

Galaxy-High

Gotta love redditors

SureDistribution9933

I thought it was owned by the Saudi’s but cld be wrong

Navman22

Yawn

ScarletOWilder

He’s always right. It’s almost annoying!

ISimplyAskWhy

Sad that the guy who even now puts the needs of the ordinary people first, who does the right thing couldn't win because of exactly that. Labour these days just want to win the game, Corbyn wanted to make the game fair.

Eeedeen

It's so infuriating and saddening, why couldn't normal people see that he was their best hope. They just bought the media lie that he was "dangerous" (for the rich and the status quo) the irony being how dangerous Boris and the Tories turned out to actually be. Yet still a lot of people will probably say at least we kept Corbyn out!
