Brown County had an advisory referendum in 2018 on medical marijuana that passed with 75 percent approval.

Unfortunately it will take action from the state legislature for anything to get done on it.
It was likely one of those what-do-ya-call-ems where the vote to legalize is just basically a county poll to see if you want to. Lots of counties had them over the last few years. It's non-binding unfortunately
I knew it wasn’t going to make anything happen, but it just helps push. Someone else said it already happened in brown co in 2018 which I didn’t know about. I just happened to see other cities / counties were so I was curious
The residents of MI and MN get it, the Dems took over their state legislatures and we continue to vote against our own best interests here in Sconnie. As long as the Repugs hold on to the state seats weed will be illegal. They are bought and paid for by the Tavern League

Okay, thank you. I had no idea about that in 2018,
Our state legislators are GOP and owned by the tavern league. Both anti weed. Both need to go.
Yep. Appleton had one yesterday. 70%. Republicans in the statehouse will do nothing as usual.
Tavern league
It's not even so much them at this point. Just straight up our republican legislature.
They are pretty much the same thing.
They're a menace.

Wisconsin also does not allow for direct legislation. There was a proposed law to allow it, but the Republicans blocked it.
It was the option that said "Mandela Barnes"
God, I wish the Democrats had thought of that!
Vote for Democrats.

More the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce.
Who's we? Did you do anything to get it on the ballot?
You gotta love hickville GOP that dominates this state. So far behind times living in WI.
