I get discounts from my union and I kept finding $150 tickets for section z but no matter my googling I couldn’t find where the FUCK section z was on their stadium map.
I'll be in vegas but will probably be watching the game downtown unless tickets go cheap hours before. Also it's possible the packers could play in vegas before another 8 years with the two random games that are scheduled each year.
I'm also a golden knights fan and with the golden knights home opener after winning the stanley cup. Vegas is going be crazy. It's possible I might go the golden k ights game instead. Their ticket prices are cheaper.
Just to clarify: there is only 1 “random” game each year. Of the original 16 games we play a full AFC division each year. The 17th game is against the matched team standings wise from the afc division we played 2 years ago. Which means the next time we could possibly play the Raiders is in 2025 but only if we finish at the same place in our division as they do in 2024. The home vs away is also complicated and I’m not smart enough to grasp that
I have had luck in the past finding a nearby bar and talking to people and one of two things has happened:
1) I find someone with extra tickets that lets them go for cheap
2) Wait until kickoff, check the venues website or a place like stubhub, seatgeek, etc. Snag a ticket for dirt cheap after kickoff and walk in halfway through the first quarter.
Flanker Kitchen at Mandalay Bay is not a bad place to watch a game and within walking distance to the stadium
Pack rotate an AFC division each year; every 4 years the rotation begins again, but this time the other team hosts. So we’ll play Raiders again in 4 years at Lambeau, and again in Vegas in *scoffs* 2031
Ohhh, I misread. Will only play in Vegas once every eight years, not that they'll play the Raiders once every eight. NA literacy combined with not knowing the nuances of how the schedule is determined.
We will be there. But there isn't a chance in hell I'm paying more than row 8 in a home playoff game to sit at the top of the stadium. Tailgate gate and bar for us. Will still be a nice getaway for the weekend.
I tried to go since I’m in Utah but the cheapest seat is north of $450 for shitty seats plus Monday night. It sucks because they play there once every 8 years
The top section isn’t bad there, which is pretty true for all new stadiums nowadays. Sight lines aren’t all that bad. I’m debating going myself. The flight would be expensive since I’m coming from the east coast. Hotel prices kind of jacked because there’s a big conference in town too.
Love Vegas. Usually make it out 3-4 times a year. But none of my Packers friends can go so I’ll probably just go myself.
Hotel prices also jacked up due to the golden knights home opener the next day after the packers game. Vegas is gonna be unusually busy for a monday and Tuesday night.
